Study of Interracial Marriage

The Left has been talking about whether there is a constitutional right to racial intermarriage. I doubt that the court will reconsider this, but it is worth examining.

A 2015 research paper reported:

This study finds that 92% of biracial children with African American fathers are born out of wedlock and 82% end up on government assistance. The results of this study make it very clear that biracial children with African American fathers are fatherless on a scale much larger than the public may realize.
However, the paper has been retracted, for apparent plagiarism. It is still online here. It concludes:
From the data amassed it can be suitably deduced that on average 92% of biracial children with African American fathers are born out of wedlock, with Caucasian mothers leading in that percentage. 90% of women who have children out of wedlock with African American men will not end up marrying that man, where as 10% will wed, yet those that wed or do have their children in wedlock typically end up a single mother nonetheless due to divorce. Of women that had biracial children with African American men out of wedlock 50% had only one child out of wedlock and 50% had more than one child out of wedlock, and when they do have multiple children out of wedlock 79% of the time the children do not have the same father. 77% of biracial children with African American fathers presently live below the poverty line and 82% end up on government assistance at some point. 88% of the time the father of the child does not financial support or help with the economic costs of the child, consequently leaving the encumbrance of fiscal care exclusively on the mother. 90% of biracial children with African American fathers don’t have their father in their life. 94% of the surveyed mothers believe the father of their child doesn’t have a good relationship with the child. 63% of biracial children who are raised without an active father in their life exhibit major behavioral problems, where as 37% of biracial children raised without an active father don’t exhibit major behavioral problem. Biracial children with African American fathers who have an active father in their life exhibit major behavioral problems 17% of the time leaving 83% who won’t exhibit those behaviors. Unmistakably it is within the interest of the public to endorse and advocate black fatherhood and find resolutions to remedy black paternal absenteeism.
I do not consider these figures reliable. But what if they were? How would this affect policy towards interracial breeding?

Physicist Criticizes Military Policy

Here is a good interview of Ted Postol, an MIT physicist who has done a lot of military consulting. He seemed to a lot about US systems that I thought would be classified, and also about Russian and Chinese systems. He has a lot of argument against ballistic missile defense. He says they don't work, and are easily defeated. That may be true, but a defense that works a little bit might be better than nothing.

He is a liberal Democrat, and probably a Trump-hater. But he most scathing criticisms were of Joe Biden, Barack Obama, the NY Times, John Kerry, and James Clapper.

He says the NY Times and other leading news media used to be must more honest. Now they are hopelessly partisan.

He thinks that Obama and Biden are good men, but their advisors were and are corrupt and partisan to the point of making very bad policies. He thinks Russia and China have better technological and military leadership. Except that Putin blundered by invading Ukraine.

He talked about what Wikipedia calls Use of chemical weapons in the Syrian civil war. He essentially says the Obama administration lied to us in order to trigger a war that would have had disastrous consequences. He is baffled that American leaders could be so dishonest and irresponsible. And also the news media.

I am not sure he is right about everything.

Democrats Favor Great Replacement

Pedro L. Gonzalez ,writes in Newsweek:
Democrats and progressive activists, based on their own rhetoric over the years, subscribe to "replacement theory" more than anyone else. As vice president, Biden himself said that a "constant" and "unrelenting" stream of immigration would reduce Americans of "white European stock" to an "absolute minority," and that this was "a source of our strength."

Democrats weren't always so sanguine about demographic change, though.

Recall that the late Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA) assured concerned Americans that the 1965 Hart-Celler immigration law would "not upset the ethnic mix of our society" — it would not, in other words, result in demographic change. That kind of talk from a Democrat is unimaginable today. It was also, in retrospect, simply incorrect.

Yes, that was a big lie, and the 1965 Act has caused most of America's problems today.

Libertarian Reason argues in this video that the Replacement theory is spectacularly wrong because Democrats have not been politically successful in granting citizenship to all the illegal aliens, and because some immigrants voted for Donald Trump!

Democrats have only increased the USA population by 130 million since 1965. I guess they tried to bring in many millions more, and the Libertarians believe that everyone in the world should be allowed to move to the USA.

Of course many sensible immigrants voted for Trump. Trump was a so much better President than Biden that it is hard to see why anyone would vote against him.

The Libertarian video also complains that Americans are more willing to spend welfare on Americans than foreigners!

Amusingly, Google puts a disclaimer on the video, saying that Replacement is a far-right conspiracy theory. I think that it is promoted much more by left-wingers.

Update: Here is a typical comment:

This is interesting. So Nick Gillespie and Regan Taylor call Tucker Carlson not just wrong, but "spectacularly wrong" about replacement.

Yet, interestingly, they don't actually argue that it isn't happening. Instead, what they argue is: it's happening, but it's good!

Reason probably gets a lot of money from the pro-immigration lobby. It is funny to see Libertarians be so anti-freedom.

Depp Case up to the Jury

CNN reports:
The jury in the defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has begun deliberations. ...

At issue is a 2018 op-ed Heard penned in the Washington Post where she identified herself as "a public figure representing domestic abuse," which Depp said falsely painted him as an abuser and cost him work in Hollywood. Heard countersued Depp, claiming his attorney's statements that her abuse allegations were a "hoax" defamed her and her once blossoming career to suffer.

Shortly before beginning deliberations, jurors heard closing arguments from both Heard and Depp's attorneys.

Heard's attorney, Ben Rottenborn, told jurors that if Depp failed to prove he never abused Heard, she wins the case.

"Mr. Depp simply cannot prove to you that he never once abused Amber," Rottenborn said. "A ruling against Amber here sends the message that no matter what you do as an abuse victim, you always have to do more. No matter what you document, you always have to document more. No matter who you tell, you always have to tell more people. No matter how honest you are about your own imperfections and your own shortcomings in a relationship, you need to be perfect in order for people to believe you. Don't send that message."

Earlier on Friday, Depp's attorneys argued that Heard was the abuser, not Depp.

The consensus seems to be that Depp is losing the legal case, but winning in public opinion.

Heard is right, that Depp cannot prove that he never abused her. Abuse has become a meaningless and broad term.

Heard obviously got legal advice that she can make whatever abuse allegations she want, and they will be to her advantage in divorce court. It is a common story that gets played every day in divorce courts around the country. If the husband fights it, he ends up worse off.

Depp decided to fight it, even though the fight would expose his addictions and other faults.

Nearly everyone says Heard is an opportunistic liar.

Heard hired the ACLU to write that op-ed, and lied about having paid them. I would think that she could refuse to pay the ACLU, on the grounds that their lawyers should have some responsibility for the op-ed getting her into so much legal trouble. But no, sabotaging Depp's career seems to be her intention.

Depp should have sued the Wash. Post and the ACLU also, as they are also culpable. So is everyone else who says to believe all women, and who perpetuate myths about supposedly abused women.

I am guessing that the jury will return a small verdict in favor of Depp. Heard will say she won, because Depp did not get the $50M he was requesting. But Depp's real goal appears to be to restore his reputation.

Living in Fear of Crime

News:
“So many black Americans wake up knowing they could lose their life in the course of just living their life — jogging, shopping, sleeping at home,” said Biden.
Why? Because they live in Black neighborhoods where Blacks are often getting killed by other Blacks?

Not just Biden, but the mainstream press has been running stories about how Blacks are having to live in fear of crime.

The reality is just the opposite. There are millions of White Americans who live in fear of violent crime from Blacks. There is no reason for Blacks to fear Whites. The last lynching was Emmett Till in 1955.

Debate over Legal Prostitution

The Reason Libertarians sponsored this debate:
Do people who hire sex workers deserve to go to jail, or should all laws prohibiting consensual sex work be repealed?

On May 9, 2022, writer and activist Julie Bindel debated Reason's Elizabeth Nolan Brown at the Sheen Center in lower Manhattan. The resolution was "A good society should criminalize the purchase of sex."

The event was hosted by The Soho Forum, a monthly debate series sponsored by the Reason Foundation.

Bindel is the London-based author of The Pimping of Prostitution: Abolishing the Sex Work Myth. She opposes arresting women for the selling of sex but wants their customers to face consequences for their actions.

Reason's Elizabeth Nolan Brown, who's also the co-founder and president of Feminists for Liberty, took the position that all laws prohibiting consensual sex work should be abolished.

I previously posted:
I am convinced that legal trends will result in legalized prostitution. [But] Texas is bucking the trend.
The argument for criminalizing prostitution narrowly won the above debate.

You would think that I would agree with one or the other, but I don't.

They both called themselves feminists, and claimed to be for equality of the sexes, but they were the opposite. They were the sort of feminists who believe in expanding the sexual freedom and opportunities for women, while restricting them for men. For example, the one wanting to criminalize prostitution only want to criminalize it for male customers, while letting the perps go free!

They only talked about what is good for women prostitutes. Neither would discuss what is moral, or that is good for society, or what is good for men.

When asked about disabled and other incel men, one said that they are probably jerks who should not be able to buy female favors.

They talked about the freedom to sell sexual favors for money, but they should really distinguish between private and commercial arrangements. The prostitution laws are only aimed at commercial arrangements, ie, where the services are openly advertised.

So I still think that prostitution will be de-criminalized, as good arguments against it will not be made.

Court Thought that Black Kids Prefer White dolls

With Supreme Court decisions being reconsidered, it is worth reviewing the basis for one of the most famous and revered one, Brown v Board of Education. The reasoning was phony doll studies:
Even with doctored evidence there was no Constitutional basis for the Justices’ ambitions, so they skipped the Constitution entirely and based their ruling on social science. This “science” was mainly black sociologist Kenneth Clark’s notorious doll studies.

Clark claimed that when black students in segregated schools were shown two dolls — one black, the other white — and asked which one they liked better, a substantial number chose the white doll. He claimed this meant segregation instilled feelings of inferiority. What he failed to say — but what was known to the lawyers arguing the case for segregation — was that his own research contradicted that claim. He had run the same experiment with children in integrated schools in Massachusetts and had found that even more of them preferred the white doll. If his research showed anything about feelings of inferiority, it was that integration made them worse. His evidence before the Supreme Court was deceitful.

Got that? One of the most radical and consequential Supreme Court decisions of the XX century was based on silly claims that Black kids prefer White dolls. The decision was unanimous, and hardly anyone questions it, even today.

The Daily Stormer is Back

The Daily Stormer is back online at https://stormer-daily.rw/.
This site IS NOT associated with the government of Rwanda in any way.

However, we will be doing some cultural articles about the cultures of Rwanda in order to inform people about those cultures, in honor of our domain name.

It is just another political site. It should not have to use Rwanda DNS to have a web site.

Some stories are favorable to Russia or China. If that bugs you, you do not have to read them. It also has stories that would be called bigoted. It used to pretent to be neo-Nazi in order to trigger its enemies, but it does not bother anymore. The Left is much more easily triggered.

Or read the NY Times, where today's issue tells me that the Buffalo shooter manifesto is not real, because one of the cited articles was disavowed by a university:

“We are appalled that a 2013 article by John Gaski, an associated professor at Notre Dame, was cited by the perpetrator of the heinous murders of innocent people in Buffalo,” vice president of public affairs and communications Joel Curran said in the University’s statement. “Whatever Professor Gaski’s intentions, we deeply regret that his words were used to support a doctrine of racial hatred.”
Here is what the 2013 artcle said:
What of that larger race relations issue? It took zero lag-time after the original Trayvon Martin incident for race baiters such as Al Sharpton to accuse our country of engendering a climate of racist danger for black citizens.

This qualifies as anti-American slander of the first magnitude because the facts are to the contrary — if anyone still cares to know them.

But is there not an established tendency for blacks to be victims of interracial violence in the United States? Hasn't that been the recent media message? Message, yes; truth, no. Here are the suppressed and inconvenient facts:

About 90% of interracial violent crime in our nation is committed by blacks against whites. The black-on-white murder rate in the U.S. exceeds the white-on-black rate by about 2.5-to-1. The black-on-white assault and battery rate exceeds the corresponding white-on-black rate in this country by at least 10-to-1.

I would rather not report what is known about U.S. interracial rape statistics because it could be taken as incendiary, but the previous numbers in terms of black/white proclivity are dwarfed. (See Department of Justice, Criminal Victimization in the United States, "Victims and Offenders.")

OK, here's a hint: Because the number of white-on-black rapes is so low nationally in any given year, the ratio ranges from 100-to-1 to infinity. Liberal, politically correct feminists need to reflect on that one.

If these interracial crime ratios were randomly based, they would be uniform — that is, 1-to-1 — for the two racial groups. In other words, the population with six times as many potential victims also has six times the pool of perpetrators, so the effect of that disproportion should be perfectly offsetting arithmetically.

Yes, the relative crime stats would be moderated if adjusted for socioeconomic status (from astronomical to merely stratospheric), but by no means inverted.

The baseline conclusion is straightforward, even if surprising to readers who are victims themselves — victims of racial and racist propaganda. The hysterical public mantra of epidemic white-on-black violence is thus exposed as fraud.

The mainstream new media, and the stories surrounding Trayvon Martin, George Floyd, Buffalo, etc. all give the impression that Whites are committing crimes against Blacks. The truth is the opposite. Blacks are committing crimes against Whites. Most Blacks would rather live among Whites than Blacks.

NPR Continues Pushing Great Replacement Theory

NPR Radio reports:
At the forefront of a global fight against hatred and racism is a special U.S. envoy, Ambassador Deborah Lipstadt. Her mandate at the State Department is to monitor and combat antisemitism.
She is probably best known for her efforts to cancel a historian.

She wrote a book on Jewish Holocaust revisionism, with her main argument being that some stories are important to Jews and chould not be challenged.

FADEL: Since the attack in Buffalo, we've been hearing a lot about this racist conspiracy, the replacement theory. And when I hear that, I think back to Charlottesville, nearly five years ago, when we watched neo-Nazis and white supremacists march with torches and chant, Jews will not replace us. Can you just explain this debunked and racist conspiracy and its danger?

LIPSTADT: Sure. There is a belief amongst people such as the killer in Buffalo and too many others like him. And what they argue is that there is a concerted effort, a plan, a scheme to replace, to destroy white Christian culture, to turn white Christians into a minority by flooding their countries with either people from Africa, Muslims - in this country, people from, quote-unquote, "south of the border" - and to render white Christians a minority. But there's something else that motivates them or that is part of that theory. They look upon people of color as inferior to white Christians. There has to be someone behind them making this happen. They are the puppets. But who is the puppeteer? And some of them will immediately say, it is the Jew, because in their eyes, Jews are not white.

A couple of days ago, NPR was complaining that those Charlottesville guys were "mostly young white men in polo shirts and khakis".

She looks white to me, but she also works with Jewish organizations to undermine White Christian culture. In that sense, she is not White.

FADEL: And this idea, this conspiracy that has no truth to it, it's not fringe anymore. It doesn't feel fringe anymore.

LIPSTADT: You're absolutely correct. There is an increasing percentage of the American population who believe this is really happening and who think that America's identity is under threat. And whether they read it online, whether they hear it in the media, whether they hear it from certain politicians - but they believe it.

It is funny how everyone can agree on a non-fringe idea that "has no truth to it". Maybe they believe what they see with their own eyes, rather than Jewish propaganda.

Ann Coulter lists a bunch of Democrats supporting Great Replacement Theory, and notes:

The New York Times on neoconservatives, August 4, 2003: “For the past few weeks, U.S. President George W. Bush has been surrounded by a secretive circle of advisers and public relations experts, giving rise to all kinds of conspiracy theories and debates. It’s been said that the group’s idol is German Jewish philosopher Leo Strauss.”
She does not mention how Pres. Biden follows Jewish advisers and promotes GRT. He said that he ran for President because of resistance to the idea that Jews will replace us with non-Americans, here he says the Great Replacement is a "good thing".

Big Shot Professor Fired over Affair

reports:
'Genius' MIT scientist once touted as Nobel Prize winner is forced to collect unemployment after being fired over consensual open-relationship with younger colleague who said he'd abused her after he ended it Dr. David Sabatini, 54, is collecting unemployment after being forced to step down from his position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
The tenured MIT professor was fired from The Whitehead institute in 2021
The woman, identified as Kristin Knouse by Common Sense substack, accused Sabatini of sexual misconduct and said she was coerced into having sex Sabatini sued the school and his accuser, arguing he was ousted over false sexual harassment claims concocted by a vengeful jilted lover
She was 30 years old, and had a year-long affair with him. Not an exclusive affair, as she was dating others. He had no management power over her.

This is what MeToo has become. Affairs between consenting adults can get one canceled.

Here is an open letter attacking him. It has nothing of substance, of course, and tried to blame him for "systemic issues that drive mental health consequences".

Meanwhile a philosopher says:

“From my limited anecdotal perspective, DEI workshops take white men who have unconscious anti-Black racial prejudice and turn them into full blown explicit racists,” Stanley said Friday on Twitter. “I hope that’s not happening at scale.”

“I believe in the goals of these workshops and I agree with many of their presuppositions about reality,” he continued. “But I am seriously worried about their effectiveness.”

Isn't that the idea? Everything these DIE folks do is to create racial division.

I listened to NPR Radio all day complain about Tucker Carlson being racially divisive. But he never says anything racially divisive. NPR broadcasts racial hatred to a 95% White audience every day.

The NY Times reports:

After Campus Uproar, Princeton Proposes to Fire Tenured Professor

In July 2020, as social justice protests roiled the nation, Joshua Katz, a Princeton classics professor, wrote in a small influential journal that some faculty proposals to combat racism at Princeton would foment “civil war on campus,” and denounced a student group, the Black Justice League, as “a small local terrorist organization” because of its tactics in pushing for institutional changes.

The remarks in Quillette made him a lightning rod in the campus free speech debate, reviled by some who thought what he said was racist, and lionized by others who defended his right to say it. And they sent up a flare that led to scrutiny of other aspects of his life, including his conduct with female students.

In the latest fallout from that debate, Princeton’s president has recommended dismissing Dr. Katz, according to a May 10 letter from the president to the chair of the trustees.

But the professor, who is tenured, is not facing dismissal for his speech. His job is at stake for what a university report says was his failure to be totally forthcoming about a sexual relationship with a student 15 years ago that he has already been punished for.

He is obviously being fired for expressing a completely reasonable opinion. Read the Quillette essay that the NY Times seems reluctant to link. Here is what infuriated the woke Blacks:
But then there are dozens of proposals that, if implemented, would lead to civil war on campus and erode even further public confidence in how elite institutions of higher education operate. Some examples: “Reward the invisible work done by faculty of color with course relief and summer salary” and “Faculty of color hired at the junior level should be guaranteed one additional semester of sabbatical” and “Provide additional human resources for the support of junior faculty of color.” ...

“Acknowledge, credit, and incentivize anti-racist student activism. Such acknowledgment should, at a minimum, take the form of reparative action, beginning with a formal public University apology to the members of the Black Justice League and their allies.” The Black Justice League, which was active on campus from 2014 until 2016, was a small local terrorist organization that made life miserable for the many (including the many black students) who did not agree with its members’ demands. Recently I watched an “Instagram Live” of one of its alumni leaders, who — emboldened by recent events and egged on by over 200 supporters who were baying for blood — presided over what was effectively a Struggle Session against one of his former classmates. It was one of the most evil things I have ever witnessed, and I do not say this lightly.

I do not agree with using the word "terrorist", unless they were doing something criminal. But a tenured professor certainly ought to be able to speak up against those on campus who are making life miserable for others.

It seems even worse that Princeton claims that they are firing him over an affair 15 years ago. His private sex life should be none of anyone's business. Liberals used to say that women were adults with rights to make their own decisions. Obviously his enemies were out to get him in order to advance their racist agenda.

Princeton asserted that Dr. Katz had discouraged the woman from seeking mental health treatment while they were together, for fear of disclosing their relationship; that he had pressured her not to cooperate with the investigation in 2018; and that he had hindered that investigation by not being totally honest and forthcoming, according to the report.
Maybe he honestly thought that she did not need mental health treatment, and that cooperating would not be helpful. No one is ever totally honest and forthcoming to those investigating him.

Update: His firing was formalized a couple of days later, according to the NY Times:

The board voted to dismiss him based on a “detailed written complaint from an alumna who had a consensual relationship with Dr. Katz while she was an undergraduate under his academic supervision,” according to a statement from the university issued Monday afternoon. That relationship was in 2006-07, but the alumna did not file her complaint until 2021.
She was asked to make a complaint in 2016, but refused. The whole idea of taking a complaint about a consensual affair 15 years later is absurd.

Buffalo False Flag Allegation

Politifact announces:
Social media posts have claimed that the Buffalo mass shooting on May 14 was a false flag event. ...

In the face of clear evidence, the suggestion that this mass shooting didn’t happen is absurd. We rate these inaccurate and ridiculous statements Pants on Fire.

A video link shows Alex Jones predicting shootings like the Buffalo one, and the New World Order using the incident to suppress the people.

There are some oddities about the Buffalo story. And the story is a convenient distraction from Biden's many problems. I would not call the story a false flag, but it is being used for political purposes. If Alex Jones helps get the truth out, so much the better.

Biden Cites Replacement Theory in Buffalo

AP reports:
BUFFALO (AP) — President Joe Biden on Tuesday condemned the poison of white supremacy and said the nation must “reject the lie” of the racist “replacement theory” espoused by the shooter who killed 10 Black people in Buffalo.

Speaking to victims’ families, local officials and first responders, Biden said America’s diversity is its strength, and warned that the nation must not be be distorted by a “hateful minority.”

“The American experiment in democracy is in danger like it hasn’t been in my lifetime,” Biden said. “It’s in danger this hour. Hate and fear being given too much oxygen by those who pretend to love America but who don’t understand America.”

He declared: “In America, evil will not win, I promise you. Hate will not prevail, white supremacy will not have the last word.”

No, diversity is not our strength.

The chief things endangering our democracy are Democrat censorship of political views, and the importation of millions of aliens who vote according to their ethnic allegiances.

Replacement theory is a racist ideology, which has moved from white nationalist circles to mainstream, that alleges white people and their influence are being intentionally “replaced” by people of color.
As this is written, Justice Breyer is being replaced by a Black woman, and Biden's White press secretary is being replaced by a Black Haitian lesbian. In both cases, the color of the replacement was widely celebrated, from Biden to the mainstream press, as progress.

Yes, they were intentionally replaced by people of color.

It is funny how the Left has gone beserck about this. According to a poll:

Just days earlier, an Associated Press/NORC study was released showing that belief in the elements of that theory — which has been promoted by Fox News and a host of Republican personalities, elected officials, and candidates — has taken hold with a significant number of Americans.

Respondents to the survey were asked “Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: There is a group of people in this country who are trying to replace native-born Americans with immigrants who agree with their political views.”

The results were sobering. From the study:

(R)oughly one in three (32%) adults agree that a group of people is trying to replace native-born Americans with immigrants for electoral gains. A similar share (29%) also express concern that an increase in immigration is leading to to native-born Americans losing economic, political, and cultural influence. These two key measures tap into the core arguments of Replacement Theory, a decades old idea, which posits that there is a group of powerful people in this country who are trying to permanently alter the culture and voting strength of native-born Americans by bringing in large groups of immigrants – the study indicates about one in five (17%) adults agree with both of these central tenets.<
This terminology is sloppy. The theory says that the Jews are trying replace Americans, but there is no attempt to get immigrants with political views similar to Jews. That would be too difficult. Jews happily bring in Moslems and others with views that the Jews detest.

As for why the Jews would want to do that, I will let you read the sources yourself. But there is little doubt that the Jews hold that position. Not all Jews, of course. About 90% are pro-immigration, and vote that way.

There is no doubt that the Biden administration is bringing in large numbers of immigrants, and openly advocates that as good policy. There is also no doubt that it is permamently altering the culture and reducing the voting strength of native Americans. So I don't know how anyone could disagree with the facts.

One could disagree about the strength of Jewish influence, or the description of Jewish motives. But don't believe me. Go read what Jews say on the subject. They are very open about promoting immigration to the USA and Europe. (Not to Israel, of course.)

The NY Times now reports that voters are becoming more nostalgic for Donald Trump. Every day under Biden reminds people how much better everything was under Trump. I haven't looked at the election results yet, but Trump's endorsements seem to be doing well.

Update:

CNN Claims White Americans 'Need To Come To Terms With' Their Role in Buffalo Shooting
I do think that Pres. Biden has some responsibility. He has advocated Great Replacement as much as anyone.

Gay-Pride Parade Sets Mainstream Acceptance Of Gays Back 50 Years
4/25/01 3:00PM

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA–The mainstream acceptance of gays and lesbians, a hard-won civil-rights victory gained through decades of struggle against prejudice and discrimination, was set back at least 50 years Saturday in the wake of the annual Los Angeles Gay Pride Parade. Participants in Saturday's Los Angeles Gay Pride Parade, which helped change straight people's tolerant attitudes toward gays. Participants in Saturday's Los Angeles Gay Pride Parade, which helped change straight people's tolerant attitudes toward gays.

"I'd always thought gays were regular people, just like you and me, and that the stereotype of homosexuals as hedonistic, sex-crazed deviants was just a destructive myth," said mother of four Hannah Jarrett, 41, mortified at the sight of 17 tanned and oiled boys cavorting in jock straps to a throbbing techno beat on a float shaped like an enormous phallus. "Boy, oh, boy, was I wrong."

The parade, organized by the Los Angeles Gay And Lesbian And Bisexual And Transvestite And Transgender Alliance (LAGALABATATA), was intended to "promote acceptance, tolerance, and equality for the city's gay community." Just the opposite, however, was accomplished, as the event confirmed the worst fears of thousands of non-gay spectators, cementing in their minds a debauched and distorted image of gay life straight out of the most virulent right-wing hate literature.

I am not sure why this was supposed to be funny.

The word "racist" has become a meaningless epithet, as the Left refuses to define it. As they refuse to define "woman". I am convinced that the Left uses terms like racist just as a way of provoking and bullying its enemies.

Now right-wingers have discovered a term that similarly provokes the Left. It is groomer. The Left defends using pushing LGBTQ ideas secretly and openly to schoolchildren, but gets very upset when call groomers.

Bingo. I think we will hear a lot more of the term. If you patiently explain why the school LGBT propaganda is bad, then you get called a homophobe, and have to mention disgusting things. It is so much easier when one word does the trick.

Do not say Manifesto, and do not Read It

NPR Radio reports:
Why NPR isn't using the word 'manifesto' ...

As anyone following the story now knows, the Buffalo shooter allegedly published a 180-page document online that repeats a series of racist conspiracy theories often referred to as the "Great Replacement" in an attempt to justify his plan to search out African Americans and murder them. It is very important that audiences know what the shooter's purported motives were and that the "Great Replacement" theory was part of them. That argument has moved from the far right fringes to more mainstream politics in recent years and the shooter's citing of it is newsworthy. ...

"The word 'manifesto,' " Memmott wrote, "also may elevate such a statement, in the eyes of those who might want to copy this person's actions, to something more than it might really have been."

Judge for yourself. Here is the Buffalo manifesto
Tarrant manifesto from the 2019 New Zealand Christchurch mosque shootings. The Wikipedia article on the Buffalo shooting refuses to include a link.

The mainstream news media like NPR and NY Times do the public a disservice when it tries to censor this information, or dismiss it as a conspiracy theory. These manifestos have many factual statements. Many are true, and commonly suppressed. Some are wrong. I am not sure about many of them. The conclusions are criminal.

Many important issues are raised. Maybe if they were being addressed in our political system, then they would not be used as an excuse to commit horrible crimes.

Update: The manifesto mentioned the Daily Stormer web site, among many others, and now it has been shut down.

The DS has a lot of biting political commentary, and links to news stories. It opposes violence. It is especially against crimes like the Buffalo shooting. We do not have free speech.

Update: Here is a graph of White Replacement, in Buffalo. Yes, it is real.

Christians Raising Money for Jews and Israel

John Hagee calls himself a Christian preacher, but all he talks about is helping Israel and saving the Jews! See this video, where he wants to help get Jews, but not Christians, out of Ukraine.

I am not sure what is going on here. Some Christians believe that Jews have a unique role in God's plan.

Illegal Aliens are getting Baby Formula

The Wash. Examiner reports:
The nationwide shortage of baby formula that has sent mothers desperately rushing from store to store has evaded one lucky group: illegal immigrants detained by Border Patrol.

According to videos posted by a Florida lawmaker, the Biden administration has been shipping “pallets” of baby formula to migrant holding facilities.

“They are sending pallets, pallets of baby formula to the border,” said Republican Rep. Kat Cammack in one of two online postings yesterday. “Meanwhile, in our own district at home, we cannot find baby formula,” she added, holding a photo of empty shelves where the formula would be.

What more do you even need to know about the evils of the Biden administration?

The baby formula shortage is mostly govt-created, as the govt ordered a crucial recall and blocked imports. The worst part here is that illegal aliens have more rights than Americans.

Meanwhile, we are about to send another $40B to the front in the war against Russia. You could argue that it is putting Ukrainians ahead of Americans, except that I think that it is just getting a lot of Ukrainians killed.

Update: The Wash. Post reports:

“Go back to China!” the man yelled, according to a federal indictment. ...

Now, Steve Lee Dominguez, a 56-year-old resident of Diamond Bar and the driver of the car, has been charged with two counts of “bias-motivated interference” of a protest and faces up to 20 years in prison, the U.S. attorney’s office in Los Angeles announced Thursday.

SS So it is a federal crime for a Mexican-American in LA to tell a Chinese protester to go back to China? We have a surge in real crime in the USA, but the Biden administration pursues these phony charges instead.

NYT and NPR try to smear Tucker Carlson

From NPR Radio:
This is FRESH AIR. I'm Dave Davies, in today for Terry Gross. If you follow cable TV at all, you probably know that Fox News host Tucker Carlson is one of the most influential commentators in conservative media and one of the most provocative. He's known for praising authoritarian leaders such as Vladimir Putin and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and warning his viewers about the dangers of foreign immigrants and elites who want to control their lives. Our guest, New York Times reporter Nicholas Confessore, recently wrote a series of articles about Carlson drawing on an analysis of more than 1,100 episodes of his show, "Tucker Carlson Tonight," conducted by Confessore and a team of Times reporters as well as interviews with dozens of current and former Fox executives, producers and journalists.

Confessore concludes that Carlson has constructed what may be the most racist show in the history of cable news and, by some measures, the most successful.

No Carlson is not known for praising Putin. While he supposedly once said something positive about Putin, he has criticized Putin dozens of times.

There are no examples given of what is usually called racism. The main charge of racism is based on discussing immigration and changing demographics. In particular he alludes to non-whites replacing whites. He rarely refers to races at all, but does mention immigrants replacing Americans.

The NY Times and NPR Radio refer to these same changing demographics much more than Carlson. The difference is that NYT and NPR celebrate replacing whites as a good thing.

Pres. Biden himself occasionally refers to this replacement. He even says that it is the main reason he ran for President.

This policy is called the great replacement, the replacement of legacy Americans with more obedient people from faraway countries.

DAVIES: All right. That's excerpts of eight different episodes of "Tucker Carlson Tonight." That theme, that message appeared in more than 400 shows. This is the kind of statistical analysis you undertook to make it clear that this wasn't an outlier.

CONFESSORE: Right. It's not an outlier. It's a continual theme of the show. And it's a racist conspiracy theory. And there's no other way to describe it. It's a conspiracy theory because it isn't true. But it's a powerful idea. And it's an old one on the far right that has made a, you know, new entrance in recent years.

Wow, Carlson did 400 shows propagating a false conspiracy, and NYT and NPR have devoted a lot of effort to attacking him for it, and yet they cannot produce a single sentence that is either racist or wrong!
Carlson grabbed that, spun it up and told his viewers that there was poop all over the streets of this town. And, you know, he played it for laughs. But then he said something really interesting. He said, these people have been their own community in Europe for a thousand years, and what makes you think they're going to assimilate in America?
Yes, some Europeans do not assimilate well. It is not racist to say that.

The other supposed example of racism was that he mocked Biden's new Black lesbian immigrant spokesman.

Here is the example of Carlson supposedly praising Putin:

CARLSON: Good evening, and welcome to "Tucker Carlson Tonight." Since the day that Donald Trump became president, Democrats in Washington have told you, you have a patriotic duty to hate Vladimir Putin. It's not a suggestion. It's a mandate. Anything less than hatred for Putin is treason. Many Americans have obeyed this directive. They now dutifully hate Vladimir Putin. Maybe you're one of them. Hating Putin has become the central purpose of America's foreign policy. It's the main thing that we talk about. Entire cable channels are now devoted to it. Very soon, that hatred of Vladimir Putin could bring the United States into a conflict in Eastern Europe.

Before that happens, it might be worth asking yourself, since it is getting pretty serious. What is this really about? Why do I hate Putin so much? Has Putin ever called me a racist? Has he threatened to get me fired for disagreeing with him? Has he shipped every middle-class job in my town to Russia? Did he manufacture a worldwide pandemic that wrecked my business and kept me indoors for two years? Is he teaching my children to embrace racial discrimination? Is he making fentanyl? Is he trying to snuff out Christianity? Does he eat dogs? These are fair questions, and the answer to all of them is no. Vladimir Putin didn't do any of that.

So why does permanent Washington hate him so much? If you've been watching the news, you know that Putin is having a border dispute with a nation called Ukraine. Now, the main thing to know about Ukraine for our purposes is that its leaders once sent millions of dollars to Joe Biden's family. Not surprisingly, Ukraine is now one of Biden's favorite countries. Biden has pledged to defend Ukraine's borders even as he opens our borders to the world. That's how it works. Invading America is called equity. Invading Ukraine is a war crime.

Carlson raises good questions. It used to be that most of the anti-war politicians were on the left and in the Democrat Party. No more. Every single Democrat in Congress voted for the Ukraine war. Opposing the war is just 57 Republicans in the House, and 1 Senator.

Cat-calling is now a Crime in Italy

News from Italy:
Two Italian army soldiers go on trial in Milan May 13 for cat-calling a 20-year-old woman in the Lombardy capital last year, sources said Tuesday.

The soldiers, who have been transferred from the barracks they were serving at and suspended from duty, are charged with hurling insults and sexually aggressive expressions at the woman for at least three times in the same afternoon.

Cat-calling and wolf-whistling were recently added to the Italian criminal code.

Italy used to be the land of romance, but its fertility rate is 1.4 children per woman, and dropping.

How is Italy going to survive if it makes it a crime for a man to express interest in a woman?

There has been a trend among feminists to lump together all MeToo behavioral complaints, and treat them all as rape. Whistling is next, I guess.

Why Modern Women File for Divorce

The NY Post reports on how modern women want to have fulfilling careers and to domesticate their husbands into doing childcare:
The ambition of millennial women has long been lauded, from their girl-power childhoods to their PhDs. Women are now the backbone of the workforce: In 2018, 74 men earned bachelor degrees for every 100 women. Some 64% of women are now bread-winners or equal earners in their households. And no wonder: They’ve grown up being told that women are able to do and be anything. ...

In other words, putting in long hours at the office doesn’t mean your husband is necessarily going to pick up the slack and wash out the baby bottles. ...

Plenty of women opt for the latter; according to a 2015 study by the American Sociological Association, women initiate 69% of divorces, and among college-educated women, it’s 90%.

The woman in the article who prioritized work over family, leading to divorce, is the granddaughter of a famous Jewish judge.

There is a stereotype of a successful man who divorces his wife to marry a trophy wife. It is actually much more common for the wife to seek divorce. Melinda Gates is a recent celebrity example.

Update: The above granddaughter, Lara Bazelon, just wrote in The Atlantic magazine:

The heart of Depp’s claim is that Heard ruined his acting career when she published a 2018 op-ed in The Washington Post describing herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse”—a thinly veiled reference to much-publicized accusations of assault she made against Depp in court filings toward the end of their short-lived marriage. But Heard hadn’t pitched the idea to the Post—the ACLU had. Terence Dougherty, the organization’s general counsel, testified via video deposition that the ACLU had spearheaded the effort and served as Heard’s ghostwriter in exchange for her promise to donate $3.5 million to the organization. The promised donation also bought Heard the title of ACLU “ambassador on women’s rights with a focus on gender-based violence.” When Heard failed to pay up, Dougherty said, the ACLU collected $100,000 from Depp himself, and another $500,000 from a fund connected to Elon Musk, whom Heard dated after the divorce. ...

Yet in 2018, the ACLU spent $800,000 on a campaign ad for Stacey Abrams during her run for governor in Georgia and $1 million in an attack-ad campaign against Brett Kavanaugh during his Supreme Court confirmation hearings. When the Trump administration proposed in 2018 a new regulatory scheme for schools to follow in Title IX campus-sexual-assault cases that offered more protections to students defending themselves against these allegations, the ACLU responded in an angry tweet thread: “It promotes an unfair process, inappropriately favoring the accused.”

The ACLU has become just another kooky leftist racist feminist organization. It is currently active in pushing for violent criminal men to be transferred into women's prisons.

The Daily Stormer writes:

You hear these stories of mothers killing their kids basically at least once a week, just in America.

Do you know what you don’t ever hear of? Fathers killing their kids.

Instead, fathers are demonized – much worse than their mothers – for “kidnapping” their own kids after some criminal Jew “family court” (not a real thing) gives the mother custody of the kids. Maybe fathers “kidnapping” their own kids is related to the fact that mothers are constantly killing their own kids? Or turning them into trannies, thus bullying the kids into killing themselves so the mother can’t be charged?

All of this nonsense about “equality” is just nonsense. There has never been any equality. Women have a superior position in society, having carried over all of the privileges they had before they had rights and taking on no new responsibilities with their new rights, making them invincible. You cannot point out the fact that every single mother is a multiple filicide waiting to happen.

New York Post:

A Los Angeles mom has admitted to killing three of her seven children on Mother’s Day with the help of her 16-year-old son, authorities said.

If the courts have a policy of only giving children to women, they should give the children to the father’s mother – or at least the mother’s mother. No woman who cannot keep her marriage together deserves to have custody of children, in any situation. Keeping a marriage together is much, much easier than raising healthy children, so it is literally always impossible for a divorced woman to raise children.

This is literally statistical fact – and statistics are the only “science” that should ever matter when engaging in social welfare decisions.

That site exaggerates, but courts would award child custody to fathers, if they followed the statistics and social science.

Update: The Depp-Heard trial has exposed how wives use phony protective orders in court, as explained by Greg Ellis. He even tells how Joe Biden is partially to blame.

Canceling DeSantis and War Reporting

Left-wing news agency Democracy Now reports that other left-wing news sites are being blocked by bankers:
PayPal has canceled the account and frozen the funds of the independent news outlet Consortium News, which has criticized U.S. policy on Ukraine. The site’s editor-in-chief, Joe Lauria, said, “Given the current political climate it is more than conceivable that PayPal is reacting to Consortium News’ coverage of the war in Ukraine, which is not in line with the dominant narrative that is being increasingly enforced.” Paypal also recently froze the account of another site, MintPress News.
Supposedly they blamed USA and NATO for contributing to the Ukraine war.

These sites annoy me for how often they blame America, but censoring them is worse.

The NY Post reports:

In a Wall Street Journal piece, Elliott Abrams and Eric Cohen, respectively chairman and CEO of Tikvah and co-chairmen of the Jewish Leadership Conference, reveal that Manhattan’s Museum of Jewish Heritage canceled a planned JLC event because Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was an invited speaker.

Write Abrams and Cohen: “We were working closely with the museum on the details for the June 12 event — until, out of the blue, we were told by the museum staff that Mr. DeSantis didn’t ‘align with the museum’s values and its message of inclusivity.’ Either we disinvite the governor, they said, or our event was unwelcome.” ...

Abrams and Cohen write that they chose DeSantis because a “remarkable Jewish renaissance is under way in Florida.”

Apparently DeSantis has done a lot for Jews in Florida, but that has to be weighed against his opposition to using the public schools for LGBTQ grooming.

Note that Jews are on both sides of this issue.

The Tucker Carlson monologue said that we are witnessing a war on Christianity. The latest example is the attacks on Supreme Court justices.

Time magazine has a curious attack on free speech:

Tech titans often have a different understanding of speech than the rest of the world because most trained as engineers, not as writers or readers, and a lack of a humanities education might make them less attuned to the social and political nuances of speech.

“Tech culture is grounded in engineering culture, which imagines itself as apolitical,” says Turner. Engineers, he adds, often see the world in terms of problems and solutions, and in that context, speech becomes a series of data points that get circulated through a data system, rather than expressions of social or political ideas.

Focusing on “free speech,” as a way to justify relaxing restrictions on the platform, he says, is just “an engineering solution to a political problem.”

White Woman Runs Off with Inmate

I have occasionally posted bad behavior by BIPOCs, so it is only fair to post some by White folks. These Whites are literally named White.

CNN reports:

As the search continues for a missing former Alabama corrections officer and an inmate charged with murder, authorities remain in the dark on where the pair may have gone after the SUV they used after leaving the jail turned up little new information in the case.

The 2007 Ford SUV officials believe Vicky White, 56, and inmate Casey White, 38, were traveling in during their escape from the Lauderdale County Detention Center in Alabama more than a week ago was located in a Tennessee tow lot, Sheriff Rick Singleton said Friday during a news conference. ...

The corrections officer, who is now no longer employed by the sheriff's office, left with the inmate from the jail on the morning of April 29, saying she would take him to the courthouse for a mental health evaluation. She also said she would seek medical care for herself after dropping him off because she wasn't feeling well.

The pair never arrived at the courthouse or medical facility, setting off a manhunt involving local and federal authorities.

The two are not related but may have had a romantic relationship, Singleton has said.

Some women cannot resist big guys. He is 6'9" and 300 lbs. Yes, some White women have bad judgment.

NYT Compares Abortion to Interracial Marriages

NY Times editorial:
Imagine that every state were free to choose whether to allow Black people and white people to marry. Some states would permit such marriages; others probably wouldn’t. The laws would be a mishmash, and interracial couples would suffer, legally consigned to second-class status depending on where they lived.
Suffer? No one wants to ban those interracial marriages anymore, but there is a real cost to them. I found these statistics online:
>82% of of white mothers with multiple half black children had the children with multiple fathers

>89% of white women with half black children receive 0 financial support from the father

>97% of white women with half black children are on government assistance

>97% of half black children to do not have their father active in their life.

>94% of half black half white children don't have a good relationship with their father

States that discourage interracial childbearing are probably a lot better off for it.
The draft opinion relies heavily on the lack of a mention of abortion in the Constitution, and therefore argues that the document cannot be the basis for the right to terminate a pregnancy. The Constitution also says nothing about interracial marriage, but that didn’t prevent the justices from finding in the 14th Amendment the guarantee that no couple may be treated differently because of the color of their skin.
That decision was from a time that the Warren Court just invented polities without any legal basis.

At least one could say that the 14A was passed to prohibit racial discrimination, and a ban on interracial marriage is thus a target. But no one ever thought the 14A had anything to do with abortion.

One of the Supreme Court justices has an interracial marriage, and soon there will be two. Another has an interractial adoption.

The principle is clear: Women and men should have equal control over their own bodies, as many Americans believed in 1973 and a majority believe today.
That is not even the principle behind Roe v Wade. Although no one is exactly sure. The Roe opinion is vague and confused, and the subsequent Casey decision was unable to get a majority to agree on what Roe held.

The rights of men and women are not currently equal at all. A woman can decide on her own to bear the child, and the man must pay much of his income for 18+ years. He has no right to terminate his obligations, as a woman does.

I don't think most people realize how radical these decisions were. They made abortion a constitutional right to the mother for the whole 9-month pregnancy. There is some verbiage about possible regulation, but that has never been approved.

Roe held that the mother does not have to give anyone a reason for the abortion. Casey held that she does not even have to notify her husband.

If the sexes are supposed to have equal control, then why isn't the husband even notified?

No other country in the world has such radical pro-abortion laws.

Now I am not arguing that abortion is right or wrong. People have legitimate opinions on both sides. The draft Alito opinion does not say either. It simply says that it is a legislative matter.

There has been tremendous liberal and feminist outrage at the draft Alito opinion, but hardly any discussion of the legal merits. Alito convincingly argues that no free society can allow such extreme opinions to be imposed.

As the NY Times editorial explains, Democrats have had plenty of opportunities to pass pro-abortion laws. They had to figure that Roe/Casey was untenable and would eventually be overturned. The simple explanation is that they could never get a legislature to pass something so radical.

Happy Mothers Day.

Update: Bill Maher says that he learned a few things about abortion. That Europe has abortion laws that are much more restrictive than the USA, and even more restrictive that most Red state proposals. That most women getting abortions are mothers. That most abortions are done with pills, and those pills are likely to be readily available. That most pro-lifers are women. That Leftist dogma is that men can get pregnant too, so this is not really a women's issue. Maher says he is pro-abortion because he likes women more than babies, and never believed that life is precious. He had two guests supposedly representing opposite views on abortion, but they agreed on abortion being legal during the first eight months, and only disagreed about it in the ninth month.

Conflicting Reports of USA War

RT reports:
The US didn’t provide Ukraine with intelligence that allegedly allowed it to strike Russia’s Black Sea flagship Moskva off the coast of Odessa last month, Pentagon press-secretary John Kirby has said, in a statement to media.

He was reacting to a report by the NBC on Thursday, claiming that American officials had helped Kiev's forces to target the vessel.

“The Ukrainians have their own intelligence capabilities to track and target Russian naval vessels, as they did in this case,” Kirby said.

Russia insists that its missile cruiser wasn’t attacked, but sank on April 14 after a fire that had broken out on board caused the detonation of ammunition. One sailor was confirmed killed and 27 others are missing as a result of the incident, while 396 other crew members were safely evacuated.

I don't trust RT, or Russia's explanation of the Moskva. But why were American officials bragging about committing an act of war? Or were NBC News and the NY Times lying to us, and hiding behind anonymous sources?

It does appear that the Biden administration, the Deep State, most Democrats, and many Republicans are eager for war with Russia.

And now the Biden spokesman is a Black lesbian immigrant. I did not think that they would find someone worse than Jen Psaki. Here is how she reacted to Supreme Court Justice harassment:

Doocy pressed her once more, "So he doesn’t care if they’re protesting outside the Supreme Court or outside someone’s private residence?"

"I don’t have an official U.S. government position on where people protest," she said, adding, "We want it, of course, to be peaceful" and Biden "would want people’s privacy to be respected."

Psaki then concluded with some serious sympathy with the protesters’ cause: "But I think we shouldn’t lose the point here. The reason people are protesting is because women across the country are worried about their fundamental rights that have been law for fifty years.

"Their rights to make choices about their own bodies and their own healthcare are at risk. That’s why people are protesting. They’re unhappy, they’re scared," she added.

It is interesting to compare the treatment of pro-democracy protesters with anti-democracy ones. The Jan. 6 protesters just wanted a fair election. The leaked Alito opnion says that elected officials, not judges, should determine abortion law. The protesters that Psaki encourages are criminals who seek to force their beliefs on others, contrary to acts of voters and legislatures.

The NY Times reports:

Five of the last six presidents talked about healing America’s divide without much success. ...

Mr. Trump, of course, was the presidential outlier, the only occupant of the Oval Office in modern times who hardly even paid lip service to the notion of bringing the country together. Instead, he relentlessly promoted divisions, seeking to punish Democratic-voting states and describing Blue America as a dystopian hellhole for which he had no responsibility.

This is lunacy. Biden has prosecuted his political enemies. Trump never did that. Biden is the one who is always denouncing his opponents as bigots and extremists.

Biden says MAGA is the Most Extreme

CNN reports:
After being asked about the draft opinion from the Supreme Court that would overturn Roe v. Wade and would be the most consequential abortion decision in decades, Biden said that if the final opinion was issued along the lines of the leaked draft, it would imply nobody has rights unless granted by the federal government.

"This is about a lot more than abortion," the President said.

"What are the next things that are going to be attacked? Because this MAGA crowd is really the most extreme political organization that's existed in American history, in recent American history," he added.

No, this is crazy. It was Roe v Wade that said abortion rights were granted by the federal government. The draft opinion leaves the matter to the states.

MAGA is the least extreme political movement today. Biden is senile.

Meanwhile, I see that some Black guy has gone on stage and attacked another Black comedian. Is this a trend?

A anonymous comment:

By reading ... liberal blogs, in addition to twitter et. al., one gets the impression that the very fabric of reality is thinly held together by abortion. Could it be that the people who in the past sacrificed their children to Moloch were onto something? Were Covid-19 and the current wars the result of not enough abortions? Will the Sun rise tomorrow if we do not abort a baby right now? Did the Aztecs know something we do not?
The word hysteria originates from the Greek word for uterus.

We do not have a Patriarchy

Josh O'Brien writes:
Feminists often chatter about ‘Patriarchy’ as if it is an indisputable fact of life. Rarely do they acknowledge anything to the contrary. It can be time-consuming and difficult to put together a factual, adequately sourced, eloquent argument, especially since it’s so blatantly obvious to anyone with common sense, and your arguments will likely be cherry picked, ignored, or blocked. So this article is essentially a handy guide to disproving patriarchy, very quickly.

Patriarchy is defined as a system in which all of the societal power is held by men as a class, and is used to oppress women as a class. ...

The spheres are social, political, economic, and educational. The group which controls the majority of these spheres is the group with the power. Feminists claim that the group with control is men. Let’s see how that holds up to some critical thinking. Hint: Not well.

First, Educational. In the educational sphere it is clear that women have the power. ...

Second, Political. In the political sphere, women still have more power. Women are the majority of the electorate in the majority of states.

Thirdly, moving onto the Economic sphere. Despite producing and being responsible for the existence of less than 50% of the US’ GDP (Gross Domestic Product), an estimated 63% of it is controlled by women. Yes, women control over half of the US’ GDP, despite not producing even half of it. That means that they control not only their own money but some of men’s money, too. ...

Finally the Social sphere. More difficult to quantify, but just as easy to understand. All throughout society there are obligations for men that place power in female hands. ...

Now, the Social sphere is the only one which I can see being contested, as it cannot be factually quantified, but even if the social sphere were male controlled, that would still be 3 spheres under female control, a majority. Thus meaning: women would still have the majority of control in society.

So no, we don’t live in a patriarchy.

Update: Here is a comment from someone who calls herself "Feminist Bitch" and probably believes in the Patriarchy:
Explain to me, Scott, why I should believe your devotion to “women’s bodily autonomy” when you have, more or less, said that nerdy incelbros should be given sex slaves by the government.
Scott said the opposite, of course. The FB drew this response:
And now you want me to donate money to SUPPORT WOMEN’S RIGHTS???? What about my fucking rights? I’m an incel and the entire world is at war with me basically just for existing. Incels are the most demonized group in America or anywhere. Where the FUCK is our fundraiser???? Where the fuck are our marches???? ...

Explain why I should care about this Scott. When the world doesn’t give one flying shit about me.

Yes, our society is organized around convenient and available sexual relations for women, but not for men like the above incel.

Update: Scott responds:

And there seems to be little doubt that, as soon as the Republicans once again have unified control of the federal government, they’ll push through a national ban on abortion, imposing theocratic values on California and Connecticut and all the rest. ... After that, it’s anyone’s guess how far back in time we’re going to go. ... That’s why this is a huge deal, one of the biggest political cataclysms of most of our lifetimes.
Scott is a smart man, but is brainwashed with typical Jewish Leftist academic thinking.

Update: A "Feminist in Tech" responded that some nerd once tried to kiss her at a work party, that some guys just don’t deserve sex, and that incels should be outed and fired from their jobs. Feminist maliciousness is worse than I thought.

Canada Bans some Historical Opinions

Thomas Dalton writes:
On April 8, it was announced that Canada would soon be joining an illustrious club: the enlightened nations of the world that have elected to ban so-called Holocaust denial. Depending on how one interprets the law, there are currently 18 nations that either explicitly ban “Holocaust denial” (including Germany, Austria, France, Israel, Italy, Poland, Hungary, and Russia) or generically ban “denial of genocide” (Switzerland and Lichtenstein). Canada would then be the nineteenth nation in this honor roll of obsequiousness.

Canada’s action comes not long after the UN General Assembly approved a related resolution, A/76/L.30, on 22 January 2022, “condemning” such denial.

He goes on to explain that most of the denial is centered around several technical issues where there is genuine historical dispute.

I will not quote them here, as I do not want to get banned in Canada or Europe. I also have no expertise.

As Dalton says, no one denies that millions of Jews died in the hands of the German Nazis. However, these laws make it clear that (1) there are aspects to the story that do not hold up to scrutiny; and (2) political interests require that certain falsehoods be maintained.

These censorship laws are only ever passed to suppress truths, as there are better ways to rebut falsehoods.

News:

JERUSALEM, May 2 (Reuters) - Israel lambasted Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Monday for claiming Adolf Hitler had Jewish origins, saying it was an "unforgivable" falsehood that debased the horrors of the Nazi Holocaust. ...

"Such lies are intended to accuse the Jews themselves of the most horrific crimes in history that were committed against them," Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said in a statement.

"The use of the Holocaust of the Jewish people for political purposes must stop immediately," he added. ...

U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken weighed in later on the comments by his Russian counterpart saying it was "incumbent on the world to speak out against such vile, dangerous rhetoric."

Okay, I can agree with stopping to use the Jewish Holocaust for political purposes. But apparenly Blinken does not agree, and says it is important to speak out against speculation about Hitler's origins.

On the subject of history, the leaked abortion opinion says that the pro-abortion opinions have been lying about the history of abortion law for 50 years. While there is a lot of Democrat criticism of the result, I will be interested to see if anyone rebuts the reasoning of the leaked opinion. The NY Times already has about ten articles on the subject, but nothing defending the disputed reasoning of Roe v Wade.

Also, it is interesting to see everyone on the Left call this a women's issue, when current leftist dogma is that men can get pregnant. Do they think a pregnant man has a right to an abortion, or not?

Congress Votes for World War III

Congress passed Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act by 417-10 in the House and unanimous in the Senate.

I am just wondering about the name. It is named after the notorious 1941 law that got the USA into WWII.

Some books say that USA entered the war with the Dec. 7, 1941 Pearl Harbor attack. Actually we entered the war in March 1941 when we started supplying warships and warplanes to the war.

This new law was named as an overt reference to taking sides in a new world war. And every Democrat and most Republicans voted in favor of it.

I hope there is a truce, and no world war. The law has "democracy" in the title, but it does not have anything to do with democracy. It is just an effort to start a world war.

One of the few voices against World War III is Fox News Tucker Carlson, so the NY Times has just published a series of four long stories saying that he is a racist! The main points are:

Carlson has the most successful news show on cable tv.

He does hot issues that others are afraid to touch.

He studies the ratings to make sure that he is addressing viewer interests.

He does Trumpism without Trump.

He responds to critics.

The most racist thing he does is to report immigration stories.

The stories are obviously intended as a smear piece, but I think that they will help his ratings. He has the most interesting program on cable news.

The NY Times does not accuse Carlson of antisemitism, but a columnist argues that antisemitism serves as a useful index of the health of society. The paper spent 4 years complaining about antisemitism during the Trump administration, but now it says that antisemitism has gotten worse, and most of it is coming from the Left. Right-wingers are mostly pro-Jewish, pro-Israel, and even pro-WWIII. We are paying Ukraine to fight a proxy war for NATO expansion.

Update: The NY Times stories online often have links to cited articles and sites, but the Carlson story has an exception. It cites the Daily Stormer while refusing to put in a link. Here here is the link to the Daily Stormer discussing the matter. The site has been banned by Google and others, and now relies on China for DNS.

This is almost like a parody of an anti-Semitic parody of a Jewish hate piece. It’s always so grimy, almost pornographic, the way they attempt to frame all forms of disagreement with Jews as some kind of psychological disease rooted in childhood.

They’ve done this to me too. I have no problem admitting the fact that coming from a broken family is a key driver for other people not to ever have to go through that, which is an underlying reason why I ended up drawn to the right-wing in the first place. But this is completely irrelevant to any argument or idea. Adults do not have a political debate by trying to psychoanalyze their opponent’s childhood. To any normal person, this seems completely unhinged and insane, so it pretty much has to be buried in a six-million-word piece that winds and confuses you. You can walk away from something of this length saying “what was the point of the arguments?” and not really remember but assume there must have been some point buried in there somewhere.

But there is no point. There is no rebuttal to any of the “racist” claims Tucker Carlson has made. There is no explanation of why mass immigration is good for America, why every child should be turned into a homosexual, or why we should fight a war with Russia. You can’t give counterarguments, so at first you point and gawk and say “bad person,” then you start trying to deconstruct someone’s personal psychology.

The Times hate piece cuts off abruptly.

Yes, that's right. The NY Times has no rebuttal. It is just announcing that Carlson should be hated.

The Daily Stormer has a lot of worthwhile articles. The next one is: Noam Chomsky Says Donald Trump is the Only Political Figure Pushing for a Peaceful Solution in The Ukraine.

Netflix Movies with Bizarre Revenge Endings

I watched a couple of Netflix shows, Windfall and Anatomy of a Scandal. They did not appear to have the usual queer interracial sex scenes that have become so common on Netflix.

In both, a decent man has a great deal of personal adversity, and his wife is mostly loyal. And at the end, the wife explodes and becomes the most despicable person in the movie.

In Windfall, the wife murders her husband. There is no motive given, except to steal some of his money. She was already living in luxury and treated very well.

In Anatomy, the wife is even weirder. She seems to forgive her husband for having an affair, but then cannot forgive him for a very minor lie he told in court (he denied using the word "prick-tease"). So she finds a prosecutor with an old grudge against him, and conspires to frame him for something that happened 20 years earlier, so as to send him to prison and so she can take the kids.

I don't mind a good revenge movie, but in these movies, the revenge is against the most admirable character, and the reasons are not explained. You can infer that the Windfall wife has an unhappy marriage and wants out, but she is the one misleading her husband into thinking they will have a baby while she is taking birth control pills. She can get out without murdering her husband.

You can infer the Anatomy wife feels betrayed and wants the truth out, but that is not true. She does not reveal the truth about the prosecutor with a grudge, or of her own complicity in covering up the events of 20 years previously.

That 20-year-old incident appears to be just an accident, and it is not clear that there would be any evidence implicating anyone of a crime. The wife would be seen as a bitter jealous woman getting revenge for her husband having an affair.

Both movies end with the impression that the wife gets away with her revenge, but it is not clear. The Windfall wife could go to prison for murder. The Anatomy wife could be blamed for false accusations, and covering up unethical behavior.

I searched online movie reviews, and most people hated the endings to both of these shows.

I am trying to figure out whom these shows are supposed to appeal to. My guess is that they are trying to make a feminist man-hater statement, by showing a wife destroy her husband whether he deserves it or not. I doubt that there is really much of an audience for that. I did not see any reviews that said, "I enjoyed seeing a woman destroy a good husband at the end."

I am not saying that movies need to have happy endings, or be predictable. My objection is to movies that have some sort of heavy-handed moral message in its ending, and that message is a horrible one. It is hard to imagine anyone agreeing with what the wives do in these movies. And yet the movies present these endings as if the wives achieved justice somehow.
