Ramaswamy does not Define Americanism

Politico has a long article about how Ohio Republicans like Vivek Ramaswamy for some pro-Trump and other views, but not for his race, religion, and wealth.

This does not identify the problem.

Ramaswamy claims the authority to define what it means to be American. He presents himself as personifying the American dream. He justifies importing Indian workers as being better than inferior Americans.

No, he got rich from being a con man. Not from hard work, or creating new products, or addressing new markets. He made his money by tricking investors into buying into a worthless product.

This is not the American dream. He does not speak for Americans. His description of what it means to be American is wrong and offensive.

How England Cops Killed Henry Nowak

Wikipedia:

On 3 December 2025, Henry Nowak, a white 18‑year‑old British university student, was murdered by Vickrum Digwa in Southampton, England. Digwa, a 23-year-old British Sikh man, cut and stabbed Nowak five times with a dagger. When police officers from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary arrived, Digwa accused Nowak of assault, and officers handcuffed Nowak. Police body‑worn camera showed Nowak repeatedly telling officers that he had been stabbed and pleading for help. He died shortly after being handcuffed. ...

The jury convicted Digwa of murder on 28 May 2026.

Britain has imported Third World migrants, and given Sikhs special permission to carry deadly knives.

Here is the part that is hard to understand. Apparently a non-white can attack a White boy, and when the cops show up, the non-white can cry racism, and the cops will arrest the White. In this case, the White boy bled to death as the cops were handcuffing him and reading his rights.

People are comparing to George Floyd. Like Nowak, Floyd died while being arrest, with video evidence posted. But Floyd was guilty of a crime and dying of drug overdose, and cops had called an ambulance to get him medical care.

By contrast, Nowak was an innocent victim, and cops ignored how he was bleeding to death while they believed the racist accusations from his killer.

Nobody ever showed that the Floyd cops had any racial animosity. A couple of them were not even White. But Nowak was arrested for being accused of racism, and only Whites are arrested for that.

60 years ago, Britain was an all-White nation. Now the non-whites apparently know that they can accuse Whites of racism, and possibly get away with murder. Britain has betrayed its own citizens, and adopted an assortment of anti-White laws and policies.

Elon Musk tweeted:

The West has created an utterly evil state religion where an accusation of “racism” is the gravest offense that can be committed, even worse than rape or murder!

So if police show up at a crime scene and a British boy is bleeding out and an immigrant says the British boy is racist the cops will cuff the dying British boy.

Jefferson on Slavery causing War

Thomas Jefferson wrote a well-known letter to John Holmes on April 22, 1820, expressing deep alarm over the Missouri Compromise debates and warning that the slavery issue threatened the Union. In the letter, Jefferson famously described the crisis as "like a fire bell in the night" that "awakened and filled me with terror."

He was predicting the Civil War.

He helped abolish the slave trade, and wanted to expatriate Negroes to Sierra Leone Africa or other such places. Such a move would have been costly, but a lot cheaper than a war. He did not believe that freed Negroes and Whites would co-exist peacefully.

I wonder what he would have thought about the USA today, importing millions of people that will never be assimilated. Are we headed for war? Is there any plan that might avoid it?

I keep seeing articles on the spirit of the Declaration of Independence, and how we are still trying to live up to the vision of Jeffersona and Lincoln. Eg, see this. Not everyone realizes that Jefferson and Lincoln were very much opposed to the social and political equality of Negroes and Indians. They wanted to ship the Negroes to Africa.

When they said all men were created equal, they mean White Anglo Saxon Protestant law-abiding property-owning native-born adult citizens.

Meaning of the Statue of Liberty

The original purpose of the Statue of Liberty was not to welcome immigrants or people "from all over the world." That idea developed later.

Original Intent (1865–1886)

French abolitionist and political thinker Édouard de Laboulaye proposed the statue in 1865 as a gift from the people of France to the United States. The goals included:

• Commemorating the centennial of American independence (1776).

• Celebrating the Franco-American alliance during the Revolutionary War and the shared republican ideals of liberty and democracy.

• Honoring the abolition of slavery after the U.S. Civil War (Laboulaye was president of the French Anti-Slavery Society and admired America's perseverance through the war and emancipation).

Sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi designed it as "Liberty Enlightening the World" — a symbol of liberty spreading enlightenment, not a greeter for newcomers. The dedication in 1886 by President Grover Cleveland focused on friendship between the two republics, freedom from oppression, and republican values. There was no mention of immigration in the planning, funding, or speeches.

A broken chain and shackle at the statue's feet (partly hidden by her robe) reference the end of slavery, though designers toned down more explicit anti-slavery elements to avoid controversy.

How the "Welcoming Immigrants" Idea Emerged

The association with immigration came after the statue was built:

• Its location in New York Harbor placed it near Ellis Island (the main U.S. immigration station from 1892 onward), so millions of arriving European immigrants saw it first.

• In 1883, poet Emma Lazarus wrote "The New Colossus" ("Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free...") for a fundraiser. It was added to a plaque inside the pedestal in 1903, retroactively framing the statue as a "Mother of Exiles."

• Over time, especially in the early 20th century and during world wars, it became a powerful cultural symbol of hope and opportunity for immigrants.

Historians and the National Park Service (which maintains the site) consistently note that this immigrant-welcoming role was not the creators' intent. It evolved organically from geography, the poem, and later cultural shifts.

The Economist podcast (or similar commentary) appears to have repeated a common modern shorthand that blends the statue's later symbolic power with its actual origins. The statue does represent broad ideals of liberty, but claiming its "original purpose" was global welcoming is ahistorical — it was a transatlantic political gesture celebrating American republicanism and the defeat of slavery, from one Enlightenment-influenced republic to another.

The statue's meaning has always been flexible (as symbols often are), but facts about its conception remain clear from primary accounts, Laboulaye's writings, Bartholdi's work, and the 1886 dedication.

9% of USA Births are Illegal

Pew research reports:

How many babies are born each year to unauthorized immigrant or legal temporary immigrant mothers?

In 2023, mothers who were unauthorized immigrants or had legal temporary status in the U.S. had 320,000 babies, representing about 9% of all 3.6 million babies born in the U.S. that year. About 260,000 of those babies would not have qualified for birthright citizenship if Trump’s executive order had already been in effect. This includes:

About 245,000 babies born to mothers who were unauthorized immigrants and fathers who were not citizens or lawful permanent residents

About 15,000 babies born to mothers who had legal temporary status and fathers who were not citizens or lawful permanent residents

Those would not be citizens, except for a misinterpreation of a Civil War Reconstruction amendment. The US Supreme Court will soon rule.

How to Label a Criminal Illegal Alien

Apparently newspapers have to be sensitive about how they describe killers.

Yahoo News reports:

The Loyola Phoenix, the student newspaper of Loyola University Chicago, has issued an editor’s note apologizing for an Instagram post calling the alleged killer of 18-year-old student Sheridan Gorman an "illegal immigrant."

"On March 23, a post on The Phoenix’s Instagram page carried the following headline: ‘Immigrant Man Charged in Murder of Sheridan Gorman, DHS Involved,’" the editor’s note, posted below a Sunday article about Gorman’s murder, read.

"That headline didn’t reflect the most important elements in the story, and it was taken down minutes later to prevent any further harm to affected community members," the editor’s note continued.

"Additionally, in the body of the original post, we described the man who was charged as an ‘illegal immigrant,’ using language provided by the Department of Homeland Security," it went on. "That language does not align with Associated Press style, nor does it align with the values of this newspaper."

A Sunday press release from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) called the alleged killer, identified as Jose Medina-Medina, a criminal illegal alien from Venezuela.

So the editor is lying about using DHS language, as it called him a criminal illegal alien.

I actually agree with avoiding the term "illegal immigrant". An immigrant is someone who comes to the USA on an immigrant visa, or is a naturalized citizen, or is in the process. Most of those called illegal immigrant entered the SUA illegally, or on some other visa. It would be better to call them illegal aliens, or deportable foreigners, or something like that.

Half of Immigrants on Welfare

The argument is often made that immigrants are good for the USA economy. But a new study shows:

Of households headed by non-citizens, 47 percent use one or more traditional welfare programs. This rises to 54 percent when eligibility for payments from the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit are added. The corresponding figures for U.S.-born households are 28 percent and 31 percent.

The immigrants are parasites. Your tax money is funding them.

Sweden and Germany go Anti-Democracy

Swedes believe that America is no longer a democracy:

Democratic backsliding is advancing in the developed world. The annual report from Sweden’s V-Dem Institute leaves no room for doubt: almost a quarter of the world experienced democratic backsliding, or a shift towards autocratization, in 2025, and six of the 10 newly regressive countries identified in the research are located in Europe and North America, including G-7 powers such as Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

But the most unsettling conclusion reached by the Swedish institute is that the United States — once a proud beacon of the more or less free world — is no longer a liberal democracy and is now on a par with countries like Hungary or Turkey, thanks to President Donald Trump.

No, this is crazy. Polls in the USA and most of Europe show that big majorities believe that they are getting too many immigrants. And yet the countries that try to limit immigration are those accused of losing democracy.

189 Bombings in Sweden Last Year

Sweden used to be a peaceful country. Then it started importing Mohammedans. Peter Sweden reports:

Jewish Women want Mass Immigration

National Council of Jewish Women announced a year ago:

We urge you to chart a different course and change your stated plans for widespread persecution of immigrants.

This sounds like a joke. The Jewish ADL says:

88 is a white supremacist numerical code for "Heil Hitler." H is the eighth letter of the alphabet, so 88 = HH = Heil Hitler. One of the most common white supremacist symbols, 88 is used throughout the entire white supremacist movement, not just neo-Nazis.

Do these Jews know what is going on in Israel? Apparently they think the Jews can deport Arabs in Israel, but American cannot police its borders.

Europe faces its own Destruction

A British Jew wrote last month:

Civilisational erasure is the term the Trump administration used in its new national security strategy, published last week. It claimed that immigration, among other factors, will result in the destruction of European civilisation. In reality, without immigration there will be no Europe, no civilisation and no one left to argue about it.

Of course, we’re talking about different things. The Trump administration appears to see “civilisation” as a white and western property, threatened by Black and Brown people, regardless of whether they were born here or have recently arrived. This week, Donald Trump claimed that, with the exception of Poland and Hungary, European nations “will not be viable countries any longer”, as a result of immigration.

He is Jewish so when he complains that Europe is White Western, he is really complaining that it is Christian. And he is eager to replace the White Christians with brown non-Christians.

The erasure the Trump government appears to fear is of “white” culture.

Perhaps this is why, in the new novel by the always prescient Ian McEwan, What We Can Know, set 100 years hence, the dominant global power is Nigeria, one of the few countries that today still has a fertility rate well above replacement, though it’s also falling fast.

Not Fit to be Ohio Governor

The Jewish lobby is in an all-out attack against Nick Fuentes, and anyone who even talks to him. He also infuriates feminists, as he argues to keep women out of politics.

Fuentes frequently and harshly criticizes Pres. Trump, and says his main priority for the 2026 election is to defeat Indian-American Republican Vivek Ramaswamy in the 2026 Ohio gubernatorial election.

Here is what puzzles me -- his chief opponent is a Jewish Democrat woman!

The problem with Ramaswamy is not just that he is a Hindu first generation immigrant, or that he is a con man who made his fortune by overselling a useless product. It is that he arrogantly tries to define America in a way to make it more suitable for Hindoo immigrants. He also promotes Indian immigration to replace dumb Americans.

He ran for President as a natural born citizen, but in this video he admits that his father is not a citizen, and his mother was not when he was born. Thus he would not qualify as a natural born citizen, under some definitions, as he was an anchor baby.

He attacked Fuentes in a speech as having no place in the conservative movement, getting this response:

H-1B system is an anti-American scam

The NY Times reports on the front page:

As young conservatives discuss cost of living as a top concern, the H-1B issue has become a purity test of one’s nationalist bona fides, and by extension, one’s commitment to the America First agenda promoted by conservative figures including Nick Fuentes and Tucker Carlson. ...

As the 2026 midterm elections approach, the H-1B issue has already emerged as a central talking point in some races. In Florida, James Fishback, a 30-year-old investment chief executive running for governor as a Republican, has described the H-1B system as an “anti-American scam.” He vowed to “eliminate” the program, if elected, and fire the H-1B workers currently employed by the state.

I agree that the visa program is an anti-American scam. It is used by the richest companies to replace Americans with Indians.

“‘If there are more jobs for immigrants, then there must be less jobs for natives,’” said Ilya Somin, a professor at George Mason University who focuses on immigration. “It’s a combination, really, of nationalism and economic ignorance. They don’t understand the benefits and gains from the policy.”

Those benefits can include economic growth and innovation that leads to more jobs, including for U.S.-born workers, according to some studies.

Somin is a Russian Jew lawyer who advocates policies to destroy USA, mainly open borders, legalized heroin, and abolishing single-family zoning and nationalism. He literally wants to replace Americans with foreigners. He just gave speeches in Israel and Mexico, but did not advocate them having open borders or abolishing nationalism.

He regularly complains that American voters are too stupid to understand that they are better off working for Indians and living in crowded housing projects.

You might think that the Indians have hot computer skills, but actually they are worse than AI.

Students at engineering colleges in India, China, Dubai, and Kenya are facing a “jobpocalypse” as artificial intelligence replaces humans in entry-level roles. Tasks once assigned to fresh graduates, such as debugging, testing, and routine software maintenance, are now increasingly automated.

Over the last three years, the number of fresh graduates hired by big tech companies globally has declined by more than 50%, according to a report published by SignalFire, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm.

Schumer Asks Senate to Censor Fuentes

Sen. Chuck Schumer introduced this in the US Sentate:

RESOLUTION Condemning white supremacy, hate, and antisemitism, and efforts to give a platform to these dangerous ideologies.

Whereas Nick Fuentes is a white supremacist leader, organizer, and podcaster; ...

Whereas Fuentes used the 2017 ‘‘Unite the Right’’ rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, during which hundreds of torch-bearing demonstrators chanted ‘‘Jews will not replace us’’, to mainstream his ideology; ...

the ‘‘Great Replacement REALITY’’, an antisemitic, racist, and xenophobic conspiracy theory that claims that Jews are orchestrating the replacement of native white Europeans from their countries by non-white immigrants;

Schumer is very pro-Jew and pro-Israel, and in this commentary:

I have always admired Senator Chuck Schumer. He has long presented himself as one of Israel’s staunchest allies in the US Congress. He’s spoken with pride about being the “Shomer Yisrael,” the “guardian of Israel” — a clever play on his name and his self-proclaimed role in protecting the Jewish state. He has addressed AIPAC conferences, authored a book on antisemitism, and often cites his Jewish upbringing as the moral compass guiding his political choices.

You might think that Schumer would argue that Jews are not replacing White with non-white immigrants. No, he does not argue that at all. He is a big advocate of letting migrants into the USA. And it is not because of a belief in open borders, and he is firmly against it in Israel. His complaint is that Fuentes has a platform for his views.

The resolution continues:

Fuentes perpetuated antisemitic conspiracy theories, including— ...

(4) advancing the dual-loyalty trope by saying that Jewish Americans are loyal first to Israel and that ‘‘they have this international community across borders, extremely organized, that is putting the interests of themselves before the interests of their home country’’; and

(5) claiming that he sees ‘‘Jewishness’’ as the defining trait of his political opponents;

Yes, I think Jewishness is the defining trait for Fuentes' opponents, and Schumer's resolution proves it. Furthermore, Schumer is a good example of someone loyal first to Israel. He brags about it, to his Jewish constituency.

The resolution goes on to condemn the "platforming of Nick Fuentes". In other words, censor him.

In other Jewish news, Bari Weiss has promoted Tony Dokoupil to CBS evening news anchor. His name is Czech, not Jewish. He seems to be best known for this essay:

I came to this knowledge on the way to the altar, of all places. I was engaged to a nice Jewish girl, taking some free conversion classes at a big, progressive Manhattan synagogue. I wanted to learn about something that mattered to her, and the more I learned the more it mattered to me, too.

This wasn’t a fur-coat-in-summer kind of congregation. It was part of the Reform movement: only game for the high holidays, mostly casual about pork, always down with gay female rabbis.

So these Jews eat pork and get led by a lesbian rabbi, but he had to get his foreskin cut to please an Israeli girl. He implies that he was already circumsized, but had to get cut some more for ritualisic submission to matriarchal Jewish customs.

According to Wikipedia, they divorced a couple of years later, and he married another Jew.

Bari Weiss is fanatical Jewish and Zionist. Is this all a coincidence? Did he have to subordinate his manhood to the Jewish cause to get this job? This is so weird, I do not know what to say.

Update: Weiss is also a lesbian. She quit the NY Times because it was not Jewish enough for her.

Update: I saw a claim that Weiss spends $10,000 per day on bodyguards. I find this hard to believe. She should not have to spend anything, as her views are not even particularly unusual.

Immigrants did not build this country

News:

Democrat Rep. Pramila Jayapal says immigrants from Somalia, India, Latin America, and Africa “built this country and make this country what it is today.”

She is from India.

No, East Indian immigrants did not build USA. There are many hard-working and productive Indian-Americans, but on balance, Indians are a net negative.

It is much more accurate to say that Britain and the USA built India. Without that help, India would not even be a real country.

The situation with Somalians is much worse. The news out of Minnesota makes it appear that all the Somalians are criminal parasites.

Sierra Club goes Woke, and goes Broke

A leftist biology professor posts:

This happens over and over again. It happened with the Southern Poverty Law Center. It happened with the ACLU. It happened with the Audubon Society. And now it’s happening with the Sierra Club. What is happening? An organization with a narrowly defined but admirable mission cannot resist the ideological Zeitgeist, and embraces social justice precepts that are not universally accepted. The organization becomes riven with controversy, and it erodes, becoming damaged. (This also happened with Scientific American, remember?)

The NYT from a week ago tells us how this is happening to the Sierra Club, which has lost money and membership after deciding to branch off into Social Justice Warriorism. Read about it by clicking the headline below, or find the article archived here for free.

That article starts:

The Sierra Club calls itself the “largest and most influential grass roots environmental organization in the country.” But it is in the middle of an implosion — left weakened, distracted and divided just as environmental protections are under assault by the Trump administration.

The group has lost 60 percent of the four million members and supporters it counted in 2019. It has held three rounds of employee layoffs since 2022, trying to climb out of a $40 million projected budget deficit.

Its political giving has also dropped. Federal campaign-finance records show $3.6 million in donations from the Sierra Club during the push to defeat Donald J. Trump in 2020, but none as Mr. Trump stormed back to the presidency in 2024.

The article shows support collapsing in about 2020, but the real problem started decades earlier when it went pro-immigration. There are a lot of arguments for and against immigration, but for an environmentalist, migration from the Third World to the USA is overwhelmingly bad. The Sierra Club should have been overwhelmingly against it.

The story has surprisingly little to do with Donald Trump. If anything, Trump should have united them with opposition to coal-burning and other policies.

No Need for Foreign Workers

News:

President Donald Trump drew criticism from those within his "Make America Great Again" base after he reinvigorated debate on one of his party's most controversial issues: H-1B visas.

The visas allow U.S. companies to hire highly skilled foreign workers for up to six years.

The issue resurfaced after Trump told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham in an interview that aired Tuesday that bringing foreign workers to the U.S. on H-1B visas is important to "bring in talent" to the U.S. While Ingraham argued that the U.S. has talent at home, Trump said that wasn’t the case.

It is not true that the visas are for highly skilled workers. There are other visa programs for that: EB-2, EB-3, O-1. The H-1B visas go to Indians and others will skills comparable to an average American college graduate.

Ben Shapiro defended the visas citing Elon Musk, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, and Google CEO Sundar Pichai. He says they created many thousands of American jobs.

I can see the argument for Musk as he founded SpaceX, and essentially founded Tesla and a couple of other companies. But Nadella and Pichai happened to be at the right place at the right time, and cashed in on cloud computing and AI developed by others.

Google and Microsoft hired thousands of Indian programmers and engineers as cheaper substitutes for Americans, and then had to hire Indians to manage them. Nadella and Pichai rose in that environment, but are they responsible for any innovative products that created jobs? Not that I have heard. John Rocker was Right

Twenty-five years ago, the Atlanta Braves pitcher John Rocker wrote an impassioned observation about the decline of New York.

“Imagine having to take the 7 Train to the ballpark looking like you’re riding through Beirut next to some kid with purple hair, next to some queer with AIDS, right next to some dude who just got out of jail for the fourth time, right next to some 20-year-old mom with four kids. It’s depressing. The biggest thing I don’t like about New York are the foreigners. You can walk an entire block in Times Square and not hear anybody speaking English. Asians and Koreans and Vietnamese and Indians and Russians and Spanish people and everything up there. How the hell did they get in this country?”

He was roundly condemned for this by the national media, by Major League Baseball, and was even forced to undergo professional counseling for the thought crime of noticing the consequences of the foreign invasion the city was undergoing. And now, with what appears to be the imminent election of a socialist Muslim born in Uganda to the highest elective office in New York City, he’s taking a well-earned victory lap.

25 years ago I criticized New York for its rapid decline into a third world country. I was forced to undergo Psychological Counseling, as if I were the crazy one. 25 years later, the city is voting in a muslim socialist for mayor.

This is an object lesson for all of the puritanical goodthinkers and immigration fetishists who drank the equalitarian Kool-Aid. Those Cassandras you condemned for being “crazy” and “racist” and “bigoted” were right all along. All of history, recent and ancient, clearly testifies to the obvious fact that if you permit a sufficient number of foreigners to enter your country, they will change it to suit their preferences with absolutely no respect for what was there before them.

The equalitarian ideology has failed. The Enlightenment has failed. Multiculturalism and anti-racism have failed. Immigration is a clear, present, and existential danger to most of the nations of the West.

I remember this, as an early cancelation. I think a Sports Illustrated reporter baited him into redneck some trash talk, and he naively complied. I guess his employer forced him into a public apology, but that did not help.
