The Stupid Dislosure Day Plot

Another blockbuster movie I will skip is Disclosure Day.

I do not expect space alien movies to be realistic, but this is too silly. The whole movie is about how space aliens secretly invade Earth, subjugate some humans, and announce there presence by having a couple carry out a plot to show some video clips on a tv weather broadcast.

None of it makes any sense. The aliens could just show themselves, or some of their advanced technology. No one watches tv, and no one would believe some pirated video clips.

That's it. The 145 minutes ends with the disclosure, and a suggestion that the aliens might have a message for us. I guess the message itself was saved for a sequel, as it is not disclosed.

This is not really a spoiler, as it is all revealed in the trailer, which goes further and has Director Steven Spielberg saying:

How will disclosure change us? I believe for the better. It will remind us of our capacity for empathy.

And that there is something bigger out there. Than just ourselves.

But the movie ends with the disclosure of the space aliens, so we do not find out how the disclosure changes humans.

Spielberg is promoting this movie as if there really is a space alien coverup. He says:

The witnesses have been coming forward ever since Roswell.
He also acts as if it is a good thing to have human puppets who are mind-controlled by space aliens.

He said one of his favorite movies was The Day the Earth Stood Still, a 1951 movie where a space alien flying saucer makes a dramatic and forceful appearance, and enslaves humans to be under robot domination, so that we will live in peace. Spielberg obviously thinks that would be a good outcome.

I realize that this Spielberg movie is just entertainment, but it is being sold as a documentary, and as subjugation by aliens being a good thing.

I question the sanity of people who believe this stuff. Based on what science we know, I think that other-world intelligent life in our galaxy is unlikely. If there is such life, the idea that they have been secretly visiting us in a few places like Roswell is absurd. And the abduction stories are absurd.

And of course the idea that space aliens will use telepathy to teach humans to have more empathy is crazy absurd.

No, Israelis are not using Dogs for Torture

If you want to know the evils of the Jews, you have to read the Jewish and Israeli publications. Now the NY Times is reporting that the Israel army is using specially trained dogs to rape and torture Gaza Arab prisoners.

This sounds very unlikely to me.

Jews control the NY Times. Why is it publishing this stuff?

For years, Jews has indignantly made outrageous claims of anti-semitism, blood libel, ancient prejudice, conspiracy, genocide, racism, Nazi, war crimes, etc.

Now everyone makes these accusations against the Jews.

Jefferson on Slavery causing War

Thomas Jefferson wrote a well-known letter to John Holmes on April 22, 1820, expressing deep alarm over the Missouri Compromise debates and warning that the slavery issue threatened the Union. In the letter, Jefferson famously described the crisis as "like a fire bell in the night" that "awakened and filled me with terror."

He was predicting the Civil War.

He helped abolish the slave trade, and wanted to expatriate Negroes to Sierra Leone Africa or other such places. Such a move would have been costly, but a lot cheaper than a war. He did not believe that freed Negroes and Whites would co-exist peacefully.

I wonder what he would have thought about the USA today, importing millions of people that will never be assimilated. Are we headed for war? Is there any plan that might avoid it?

I keep seeing articles on the spirit of the Declaration of Independence, and how we are still trying to live up to the vision of Jeffersona and Lincoln. Eg, see this. Not everyone realizes that Jefferson and Lincoln were very much opposed to the social and political equality of Negroes and Indians. They wanted to ship the Negroes to Africa.

When they said all men were created equal, they mean White Anglo Saxon Protestant law-abiding property-owning native-born adult citizens.

OpenAI and Anthropic are Menaces to Humanity

Openai and Anthropic brag that their AI LLMs will soon have AGI, and they will essentially take over thw world and disrupt 100s of millions of jobs. And they must be trusted to do it safely and responsibly.

See this podcast on why Sam Altman should not be trusted for anything.

The head of Anthropic is almost as annoying as the head of Openai. His main argument is not that he is opposed to autonomous weapons, but that Claude is not sufficiently reliable yet. How does he know?

3 USA F-15s were shot down by friendly fire. Was that error by a human or an autonomous system? They are not telling us. Either way, an AI LLM might be able to improve what we have, and Amodei has no clue.

Here is his lawsuit against the War Dept, and an amicus brief from Openai and Google researchers. The brief argues:

Every smartphone continuously broadcasts location data to carriers and dozens of applications. Credit and debit cards generate a timestamped record of nearly every commercial transaction Americans make. Social media platforms log not just what people post, but what they read, how long they browse, and what they posted before deleting it. Employers, insurers, and data brokers have assembled behavioral profiles on most American adults that are already, in many cases, available for government purchase without a warrant. What does not yet exist is the AI layer that transforms this sprawling, fragmented data landscape into a unified, real-time surveillance apparatus. Today, these streams are siloed, inconsistent, and require significant human effort to connect. From our vantage point at frontier AI labs, we understand that an AI system used for mass surveillance could dissolve those silos, correlating face recognition data with location history, transaction records, social graphs, and behavioral patterns across hundreds of millions of people simultaneously.

The mere existence of such a capability in government hands — even if never activated against a specific individual — changes the character of public life in a democracy.

That is a description of the Google business model. It collects that data to use AI to make 100s of billions of dollars targeting ads, effectively selling mass surveilance data to marketers.

The Google brief complaint is not that such AI systems exist, but that they might end up on government hands. I am much more worried about what private companies are doing with such systems.

The brief also argues:

. A child’s tricycle can physically be driven on an interstate, but we do not allow it because of the risks of using the technology in that environment. Mass domestic surveillance and autonomous lethal weapons systems are the equivalently reckless domain for today’s frontier models. The considered judgment, shared widely across the AI development community, is that these applications of current AI technology carry risks so severe, and threaten harm so impossible to repair after the fact, that some kind of guardrails — whether contractual or technical — are necessary to constrain them in the absence of robust, genuinely effective governance frameworks.
The analogy to a child's tricycle is weird. A tricycle is not a dangerous technology, except that it gets in the way of other vehicles. I would expect an analogy about a toxic chemical truck on the highway, or something like that. No one worries about tricycles.

I do not think that there is any such consensus in the AI development community. They worry about AI LLMs taking over the world, or releasing dangerous info like bomb-making recipes, or tricking people into doing foolish things. They do not worry about military units doing their jobs more efficiently.

Openai and Anthropic are both planning to go public this year, with a combined market value of about a trillion dollars. And yet they run by lunatics with untenable business models. There has never been a situation before with so much at stake with such flaky companies.

Conflict of interest disclosure: Anthropic has promised to pay me $3000 to compensate for training Claude on a pirated copy of my book.

Justifying the Iran War

Why are we at war with Iran? To end its nuclear program? To get its oil? To improve the human rights of its citizens? To stop Iran from exporting terrorism?

Unfortunately, the Trump administration has made statements implying that Israel started this war, and we have to be on its side.

There is another reason that people do not want to say. Iran was becoming a China puppet, and maybe this war is to limit China's allies and oil supply.

The NY Post has an op-ed:

Beijing’s slick sales pitches convinced the Iranians to spend their oil billions buying China’s military and telecommunications equipment — like the “state-of-the-art” radar systems that now lie in smoldering ruins after failing to detect the incoming American airstrikes.

But the decapitation of Iran’s leadership and the destruction of its Chinese-made defense arsenal aren’t the worst of Beijing’s Middle East woes.

It goes on to argue that China is the real long-term threat. We are afraid to fight China directly, so we have proxy wars.

More Countries Recognize the War

CNN reports:
France is expected to recognize the state of Palestine during a summit later today in an attempt to pile pressure on Israel as it presses on with its campaign in Gaza despite international outrage. Britain, Canada, Australia and Portugal formally recognized Palestine yesterday. ...

At least 50 Palestinians were killed yesterday in Israeli strikes on Gaza and the war has overall killed more than 65,000 people, according to the enclave’s health ministry.

Are they trying to pressure Israel to kill more Palestinian Arabs?

I am not sure of the logic here. A nation is expected to defend its borders, and make decisions about war and peace. If West-Bank-Gaza is a nation, then it is a nation at war, and it has the responsibility to decide whether to keep fighting or surrender.

It seems to me that recognizing Palestine is functionally the same as saying, "Israel, keep bombing Gaza and the West Bank until they surrender."

Gaza is still holding hostages and refusing to surrender.

Palestinian Arabs Want Jewish Prosperity

NPR Radio re[pr
AYESHA RASCOE, HOST:
Every year in New York City, about 150 world leaders attend the United Nations General Assembly, known as U-N-G-A or UNGA. One leader will be notably absent at the meeting this month - the president of the Palestinian Authority, the party in charge of roughly 40% of the West Bank. The U.S. has blocked him and 80 other Palestinian officials by revoking their visas, a decision the U.N. has opposed. ...

And I think for those who - you know, if you believe in the idea of the Jewish people and the Palestinian people, you know, kind of equally deserving the same levels of freedom, security and prosperity, and you believe in the idea of a two-state solution where the West Bank and Gaza would be integrated as a Palestinian state, eventually, it's really not a good sign for that.

RASCOE: Former U.S. special representative for Palestinian Affairs, Hady Amr, thank you so much for joining us.

Really? Is that what this war is all about?

I thought that the Palestinian Arabs wanted independence and autonomy for the West Bank.

Nope, not at all. They want a Jew-free state that somehow has prosperity equal to what the Jews have created in Israel.

Not all of them. This is the "two-state" view. Many others want a "River to the Sea" solution where Arabs control the entire area, and Jews are either expelled or subordinated to Arabs.

I have wondered why the Palestinian Arabs have always rejected two-state proposals. It is because they would not have prosperity equal to the Jews in Israel.

Britain Secretly Imports Thousands of Afghans

Britian is betraying its own citizens on many levels.

News:

LONDON, July 15 (Reuters) - Britain set up a secret scheme to bring thousands of Afghans to the UK after their personal details were disclosed in one of the country's worst ever data breaches, putting them at risk of reprisals from the Taliban after their return to power.

Concerns that individuals could be targeted by the Taliban led the previous Conservative government to set up the relocation scheme, involving thousands of people and estimated to cost the government about 2 billion pounds ($2.7 billion).

The leak by the Ministry of Defence in early 2022, which led to data being published on Facebook the following year, and the secret relocation programme, were subject to a so-called superinjunction preventing the media reporting what happened, which was lifted on Tuesday by a court.

This was a screw-up on many levels. The war was a failure. UK made foolish promises. They carelessly leaked data. They paid billions to import them to England. They killed free press so that no one would know about it.

No, there is no evidence that these people were under any threat from the Taliban. The Taliban does not care about them. But the British people will suffer the consequences of this for generations to come.

The UK is destroying itself. It has imported millions of foreigners that the British do not want, but the government is forcing them on the nation.

Trump and the Jewish Enlightenment

A Jewish computer science professor writes:
I voted against Trump three times, and donated thousands to his opponents. I’d still vote against him today, seeing him as a once-in-a-lifetime threat to American democracy and even to the Enlightenment itself. But last night I was also grateful to him for overruling the isolationists and even open antisemites in his orbit, striking a blow against the most evil regime on the planet, and making it harder for that regime to build nuclear weapons.
He goes on to praise Pres. Trump's Middle East policies.

His blog is mostly non-political. When he discusses politics, it is usually either on how much he hates the Woke Left, or how he hates Trump. And he hates Trump for somehow subverting the views of Enlightenment philosophers three centuries ago.

This reminds me of the famous Jewish Atheist Harvard professor Steve Pinker, who is also Trump-hater, a critic of the Woke Left, and admires the Enlightenment so much that he has written several books on it.

What are they talking about? What do they even mean by the Enlightenment? And if they like Trump's policies, why don't they vote for him?

Puzzled, I found this:

Growing emancipation of European Jews in the eighteenth century was matched by an intellectual movement that came to be called the Jewish Enlightenment or Haskalah. Jews started to enter the mainstream of European society, in particular in major German cities such as Berlin, and Jewish thinkers had to accomplish two tasks. They needed to show their Gentile peers that they were just as committed to rationality as anyone else, and they needed to persuade other Jews that they should establish links with the local non-Jewish cultures in which they lived. ...

The basis of Haskalah was respect for reason, as the word suggests (sekhel being reason in Hebrew) and this was to have longstanding effects on Jewish culture. It contributed to the start of Reform Judaism in Germany, its basis being a putative rational attitude to traditional Judaism. It also played a part in the secular nature of Zionism, the idea that the Jews, like other national groups, had a right to a homeland that was based on reason not tradition.

I never heard of this. Today, the orthodox Jews vote for Trump, and the other Jews vote against him with a religious passion.

I have posted theories about this, but maybe I am wrong, and it all stems to some obscure Jewish philosophers who lived centuries ago. I will have to investigate this further. Pinker bizarrely attributes all that is good in the world to this Enlightenment, as if no one knew what to do until some 18th century Jewish philosophers had the great idea to use reason.

No, I do not think that these Enlightenment philosophers had any significant impact on the modern world. The use of reason goes back to Aristotle, and probably long before him. These philosophers do not even seem particularly rational to me.

I have posted many times on European developments that led to modern civilization. I credit events of a millennium ago, not the Enlightenment. To the extend that Enlightenment philosophers were influential, they were mainly Christian. Not Jewish or anything else.

But what's with this Jewish devotion to Enlightenment philosophers, and what does it have to do with hating Trump? I do not know. I think it is the key to a modern political puzzle.

The above professor writes:

“if, as it seems, Israel can survive only by waging constant wars against its neighbors, then doesn’t that itself prove the problem is Israel’s existence, and that modern Israel should never have been created at all?” ...

I used to be much further left than I am now. I turned against leftism largely because I saw how the progressive anti-Zionist worldview, taken to its logical conclusion, leads inevitably to this sort of question. If the highest value was the welfare of the masses, and if (hypothetically) the masses wanted the Jews gone, then by what right would the Jews remain alive?

Okay, but why is he anti-Trump?

Bombing Another Moslem Country

I saw an anti-war activist say that the USA has bombed eight Moslem countries in recent years. Besides Iran, the others are Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, Libya, Pakistan, Yemen, and those were all bombed by Pres. Obama in 2016.

He said it is foolish to ask why they hate us. We violate their sovreignty and kill their leaders.

No, that is not why they hate us. CNN reports:

Pakistan has formally recommended US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, citing his “decisive diplomatic intervention” following a spike in violence between India and Pakistan earlier this year.
Maybe the Pakistanis do not hate us.

Iran complains about the surprise attack, but USA policy for about 30 years has been that Iran is not allowed to have an atomic bomb. Iran had every chance to negotiate a peaceful outcome.

NY Times: Professors Rant about Fascism

New video:
We’re Experts in Fascism. We’re Leaving the U.S. | NYT Opinion

Legal residents of the United States sent to foreign prisons without due process. Students detained after voicing their opinions. Federal judges threatened with impeachment for ruling against the administration’s priorities.

In this Opinion video, Marci Shore, Timothy Snyder and Jason Stanley, all professors at Yale and experts in authoritarianism, explain why America is especially vulnerable to a democratic backsliding — and why they are leaving the United States to take up positions at the University of Toronto.

... Their motives differ but their analysis is the same: ignoring or downplaying attacks on the rule of law, the courts and universities spells trouble for our democracy.

I post this as an example of Jewish Leftist hatred and paranoia. The complainers are mostly Jewish, but their complaints include the Trump administration deporting foreigners who advocate killing Jews.

For more unhinged academics, see the physics-related blogs of Peter Woit and Scott Aaronson. They are both fanatical leftist Trump-haters, and regularly rage about how he is destroying universities and becoming the new Hitler.

So you think they agree? Nope. They disagree like Stalinists and Trotskyists. Woit says Aaronson needs psychiatric help, and Aaronson says Woit is an antisemitic piece of s**t.

What is going on? The dispute concerns protests at Columbia U. that disrupted the college, and took the side of Gaza against Israel.

In my opinion, Columbia should not put up with disruptive protests about foreign issues that have nothing to do with the college.

Columbia gets billions in federal aid, and should stop refusing to comply with Trump administration demands. The demands are things that Columbia should be doing anyway, such stopping discriminatory policies.

The broader issue is whether Jews should be held accountable for the death and destruction in Gaza. I don't want to put words in the mouths of these guys, but I think they are not being fully straightforward.

Jews believe in protecting what is good for the Jews, above all else. The view Gaza-Hamas and their sympathizers as a threat to the existence of Israel, and hence to the security of worldwide Jews. That cannot be tolerated. If necessary, they will kill a thousand enemies to retaliate for the death of one Jew.

Others, such as many modern leftists and much of the Islamic world, see Jews as evil and the Gaza destruction as proof.

A lot of influential Jews are Trump-haters, but Trump and his supporters are mostly pro-Jewish, and do not see Jews as evil.

I sometimes blame Jews on this blog, but I do not blame them for destroying Gaza. Gaza is at war with Israel, and continues to hold hostages while it refuses to surrender. I do not have have any opinions about what Israel should or should not do, and I do not think anyone should be surprised at what it is doing.

Israel defenders like Aaronson like to say that they favor a two-state solution for the Palestinian Arabs, but that appears hopeless to me. Woit appears to want the Jews to surrender Israel to the Arabs in the way that South Africa surrendered the nation to the Blacks. That also appears hopeless. They both pretend to be holding the moral high ground, but I see nothing moral about advocating something impossible, or about resisting Trump when he is making constructive proposals.

Douglas Murray make a Fool of Himself

I have commented favorably about Douglas Murray before, here and here. But he has been all over the media lately plugging his latest book, and he is alienating a lot of people.

He is a neoconservative who believes in fighting wars all over the world to suit his ideals. Currently, he is on the side of Israel against Gaza, and Ukraine against Russia.

I used to think that he was an effective polemicist, but now I wonder why I thought that. He is making a terrible case for these wars, and not addressing opposing views very well.

I do not see how there is anything to be gained by the USA getting involved in either of these wars.

Sec. of State Marco Rubio announces:

During his historic comeback campaign in 2024, President Trump vowed to close the book on a dark chapter in America’s constitutional history: the weaponization of America’s own government to silence, censor, and suppress the free speech of ordinary Americans. The American people responded to this promise by giving President Trump a landslide victory last November.

Everything this administration has done since then has been laser-focused on fulfilling the promises made during that campaign. Today, it is my pleasure to announce the State Department is taking a crucial step toward keeping the president’s promise to liberate American speech by abolishing forever the body formerly known as the Global Engagement Center (GEC).

I never heard of it, but apparently my tax money was funding left-wing propaganda.

Curt Weldon Tells his Story

New interview:
Rep. Curt Weldon: It’s Time to Finally Tell the Truth About 9-11

The Tucker Carlson Show

After twenty years in congress, Curt Weldon was about to become chairman of the House Armed Services Committee when he publicly questioned the accuracy of the 9-11 report. In retaliation, the Bush administration sent federal agents to his daughter’s house and ended his political career. At 77, Weldon has decided to tell the truth about what actually happened on September 11, 2001.

According to him, Osama bin Laden was in Iran in 2001, not Afghanistan. He got destroyed for asking the wrong questions.

He also has theories about 9-11-2001. He says two 9-11 hijeckers were CIA informants. He has info about why Libya was invaded, and Kaddafi killed.

Ukraine is Losing with German Tanks

From a Yahoo news op-ed:
German tanks are failing in Ukraine for the same reasons they lost the Second World War

The leaked report from the German Defence Ministry about the shortcomings of the Leopard 2 tank in the Ukraine should come as no surprise to anybody who even has a cursory understanding of German tank history, or even western tank history in general. ...

The first issue identified is how difficult it is for Ukraine soldiers to mend these tanks and keep them battle worthy. If the engine breaks down it must be taken hundreds of miles for repair in a specialist facility, whereas the old, simple engines of the Russian tanks can be easily fixed by any automotive mechanic, in situ if necessary. ...

We must avoid the same old German tank story from WW2. We must avoid the temptation to make our tanks too complex, too easy to hit, too difficult to maintain and too few.

German cars have this reputation today. Over-engineered, and hard to repair. People praise German engineering, but only if you ignore maintenance as an essential part of good engineering.

The Next Stage of Ukraine Ruin

Want to destroy a nation? Here is the plan. (1) Appoint Jews to take over. (2) Start a war. (3) Kill off your best Whites. (4) Replace them with non-whites.

News:

Business leaders are calling for as many as eight million non-Western migrants to be transplanted to Ukraine to mitigate the “demographic crisis” created by its three-year war with Russia. ...

“We have a demographic catastrophe. Either we encourage our women to have more children, which would take 18–20 years to reflect in the labor market, or we must realistically seek labor migration from other countries,” Voskoboinik. He seeks to source the migrants from non-Western states ...

So, who do you think they intend to import into Ukraine to rebuild the country? If I can put it so bluntly, Ukraine will be the first African nation in Europe in 10 to 15 years’ time.

The MAGA War on Ukraine

Cathy Young writes:
The MAGA War on Ukraine

Why does so much of the US Right hate a country valiantly resisting a war of aggression?

The escalating tension between the Trump administration and Ukraine in recent weeks has been accompanied by an alarming surge of extreme anti-Ukraine rhetoric in pro-Trump quarters. Some of this rhetoric has even implied that Ukraine is America’s enemy.

She is a Russian Jew with her own personal hatred for Russia.

She acknowledges that Ukraine is corrupt, and the USA helped create the conflict by funding anti-Russian forces in Ukraine. She says nothing about the claim that Ukraine started the war by threatening to join NATO.

It seems to me that Ukraine and NATO-expansionists started this war, and that Ukraine cannot win. Young does not dispute this. So what is the point of continuing the war? Young does not explain.

It appears that Young and the deep state cold warriors hate Russia so much, that the Ukraine death and destruction is worth it because the war is draining Russian resources and uniting the West against Russia.

Count me out. I do not want this war against Russia.

Trump wants to End the Ukraine War

Francis Fukuyama writes:
Even though anyone with eyes could see this coming, Donald Trump’s recent moves with regard to Ukraine and Russia come as a huge blow. We are in the midst of a global fight between Western liberal democracy and authoritarian government, and in this fight, the United States has just switched sides and signed up with the authoritarian camp.

What Trump has said over the past few days about Ukraine and Russia defies belief. He has accused Ukraine of having started the war

We have been fighting on the wrong side. Ukraine is the authoritarian and corrupt government.

Yes, Ukraine started the war, and Zelendsky is a monster. We need to stop supporting him.

Ukraine waits for a Trump-Putin Deal

NY Post reports:
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes his country would have a “low chance” of survival without US military aid, and insisted that he still trusts President Trump.

Zelensky, 47, also fretted that without US support, Ukraine could be vulnerable to another attack from the Russians within the next few years.

“I will never accept any decisions between the United States and Russia about Ukraine. Never. And our people, never,” Zelensky stressed. “there is no[t] any leader in the world who can really make a deal with Putin without us about us.”

What difference does it make whether Zelensky accepts it or not? He is just an evil dictator, a warmonger, and a USA puppet. Without USA aid, he is finished. Trump could make a peace deal, and Ukraine would have to accept it.

Hegseth to be Secretary of Defense

Pete Hegseth is being grilled by the US Senate on his personal life, rather than much more important issues for a Sec. of Defense.

Last year he said:

In a 2018 speech to National Young Israel, a group that took him on a tour of Hamas tunnels found in Israel, he said that “Zionism and Americanism are the front lines of Western civilization and freedom in our world today.”

In a 2016 interview with The Jewish Press, Hegseth said, “I have come to really appreciate the Jewish heritage and the Jewish state. I understand how geopolitically we are linked and how critical it is that we stand by such a strong ally.”

Not clear that Israel is an ally. Here are some definitions:
  1. a sovereign or state associated with another by treaty or league
  2. a state formally cooperating with another for a military or other purpose
  3. a state that is obligated by treaty to come to another state’s defense in the event of attack; and/or
a state that has a common enemy with another state.
Ukraine and Israel are allies under the second definition, but not the other two. Russia and Iran are not really our enemies.

Okay, but is it true that Zionism and Americanism are on the front lines together? I wonder what the senators say about that. I think his argument is more geopolitical that Christian Zionist, but I am not sure.

He also has opinions about Islam:

In American Crusade, Hegseth says Islam "is not a religion of peace, and it never has been" and claims "all modern Muslim countries are either formal or de facto no-go zones for practicing Christians and Jews". He said Islam was "almost entirely captured and leveraged by Islamists." He claimed Islamists planned to demographically, culturally and politically "conquer" Europe and America, allying with secularism to crush "our nation's Judeo-Christian institutions". He said Islamists planned to "seed the West with as many Muslims as possible" and "thanks to their very high birth rates relative to native populations and their strategically insular culture – the sons and daughters of those migrants and refugees multiply in greater numbers than do native citizens." He pointed out the elections of Muslim officials in the United Kingdom and the increase of the Muslim population in Europe to say that the United States would follow the same path without an intervention.[83] Hegseth has stated that the end of the US military would allow "Islamists" to "wipe America and Israel off the map".[64] Hegseth has faced allegations of chanting "kill all Muslims" at a work event at a bar.[61]
Pres. Trump now has a very impressive list of nominations, as posted:
The Trump Administration has already hired 1000+ people — some of the best and brightest people in America to help President Trump and his team enact Agenda 47 and Make America Great Again!
Update: A CNN poll says Trump has his best-ever approval ratings.

Did USA Provoke The Ukraine War?

I have the impression that the USA provoked the Ukraine war. Here is a debate on the issue, between experts who know much more than me: Niall Ferguson V.S. Scott Horton: Did The U.S. Provoke The Ukraine War?: ZeroHedge Debate Special.
