America’s Fertility Rate Crisis

WSJ reports:

In April, the federal government reported that America’s total fertility rate — the number of children a woman is statistically expected to have over her lifetime — had dropped to 1.57. The alarm was immediate, with lawmakers and pundits invoking the specter of a graying, shrinking America unable to fund its elders. ...

The explanations for why Americans are having fewer children, or having them later, aren’t mysterious. They follow from changes most people wouldn’t want to reverse.

Goldin points to women’s agency as the main variable. In virtually every country where fertility has fallen, she says, women have gained increased access to education, careers and the ability to invest in their own futures.

In other words, teach women that they have the unilateral power over birth control and abortion, and they will stop having babies.

The article discusses financial difficulties and how IVF could be used more. But the poor are having more babies than the middle class, and people have reproduced for millennia without ivf.

There is, of course, one obvious answer to the worry that there won’t be enough young workers to support an aging population, and that is immigration. Bring in working-age people and a populace can rebalance the retired old with the productive young without waiting 20 years for babies to grow up.

The WSJ is conservative on some issues, but it is always finding excuses to import foreign labor. No, that is not a solution.

France wants Electoral Bans on Wrongthinkers

French President Emmanuel Macron Friday denounced what he described as an "anti-Semitic hydra" that had crept into "every crack" of society as he commemorated Ilan Halimi, a French Jewish man tortured to death in 2006. ...

"In 20 years, and despite the resolute efforts of our police officers, gendarmes, judges, teachers and elected officials, the anti-Semitic hydra has kept advancing," Macron said.

That crime was committed by a gang of Africans. No, there has been no resolute effort to keep Hohammedans or Africans out of Paris.

He also attacked what he described as "far-left antisemitism", saying it "rivals that of the far right", and "anti-Semitism that uses the mask of anti-Zionism to advance quietly".

Macron also said he wanted "mandatory electoral bans" for officials guilty of "anti-Semitic, racist, and discriminatory acts and remarks".

France is being invaded by Mohammedans and Africans, and its response is to abolish free speech.

Thomas B. Edsall quotes Vox in a NY Times op-ed:

Last August, D.H.S. shared an ICE recruitment poster beneath the phrase “Which way, American man?” — an apparent reference to the white supremacist tract, “Which Way, Western Man?” which argues that “race consciousness, and discrimination on the basis of race, are absolutely essential to any race’s survival. … That is why the Jews are so fiercely for it for themselves … and fiercely against it for us, because we are their intended victim.”

I never heard of this.

My guess is that the politically correct response to this would be that there is no such thing as race, so it does not make any sense to talk about a race's survival. Exceot maybe for Jews, but Judaism is a religion, not a race.

Tucker Carlson on Replacement Theory

There is an organized Jewish campaign to ostracize Tucker Carlson. It is puzzling, as he hardly ever talks about Jews at all. But he does say things that they detest, such as today's video saying the Great Replacement Theory is proved by census statistics. Google slaps on a Wikipedia disclaimer.

Yes, Whites in the USA and Europe are being systematically replaced by non-whites. Yes, it is the result of deliberate policies.

Wikipedia says that the theory was "debunked" based on two sources: a law professor essay saying that Carlson had been debunked, and an online essay saying:

Far-right activist Charlie Kirk claimed that undocumented immigrants coming to the U.S. is proof of an organized effort to "replace" white Americans.

"The ‘Great Replacement’ is not a theory, it’s a reality," Kirk wrote in a Feb. 24 Instagram post alongside a screenshot of a Fox News story with the headline: "7.2M illegals entered the U.S. under Biden admin(istration), an amount greater than population of 36 states." ...

The theory ignores the many documented root causes people seek to immigrate to the U.S. through the southern border, including war, scarcity of food and medicine, a legacy of corporate colonialism and other social ills. ...

We rate this claim False.

The theory is about the people being let in, not why they seek to immigrate.

Wikipedia also says the theory "has stimulated violent responses", but does not mention that Kirk was the one killed.

The 1967 Plan to Limit Population

Kingsley Davis was a great XX century USA demographer who coined the terms "population explosion" and "zero population growth". In 1967 he proposed policies to limit population growth:

Squeeze consumers through taxation and inflation, make housing very scarce by limiting construction, force wives and mothers to work outside the home to offset the inadequacy of male wages, yet provide few childcare facilities; encourage migration to the city by paying low wages in the country and providing few rural jobs; increase congestion in cities by starving the transit system; increase personal insecurity by encouraging conditions that produce unemployment and haphazard political arrest.

He nailed it. White fertility declined rapidly, and a 1965 immigration law resulted in the USA being flooded with Third World migrants to replace the Whites.

Not Fit to be Ohio Governor

The Jewish lobby is in an all-out attack against Nick Fuentes, and anyone who even talks to him. He also infuriates feminists, as he argues to keep women out of politics.

Fuentes frequently and harshly criticizes Pres. Trump, and says his main priority for the 2026 election is to defeat Indian-American Republican Vivek Ramaswamy in the 2026 Ohio gubernatorial election.

Here is what puzzles me -- his chief opponent is a Jewish Democrat woman!

The problem with Ramaswamy is not just that he is a Hindu first generation immigrant, or that he is a con man who made his fortune by overselling a useless product. It is that he arrogantly tries to define America in a way to make it more suitable for Hindoo immigrants. He also promotes Indian immigration to replace dumb Americans.

He ran for President as a natural born citizen, but in this video he admits that his father is not a citizen, and his mother was not when he was born. Thus he would not qualify as a natural born citizen, under some definitions, as he was an anchor baby.

He attacked Fuentes in a speech as having no place in the conservative movement, getting this response:

The attacks largely focused on specific word choices (her use of the term “savage” on the song “Eldest Daughter” was interpreted as racist) and symbols (a necklace for sale on her website stirred up Nazi comparisons because its lightning bolt charms bore a passing resemblance to the bolt pattern worn by the SS). ...

What Swift’s defenders didn’t realize, however, was that they were pushing back against a false narrative that had been seeded and amplified by a small network of inauthentic social accounts. Worse, they were helping to disseminate those bad-faith allegations by earnestly engaging with them.

A lot of these controversies are fake. Anonymous online comments pretend to be offended, when they are really just stirring up attention.

It was all a big hoax. She probably looked like the one on the left.

I posted a theory that Jesus was a Roman, not realizing that a famous and influential 1911 book, The Foundations of the Nineteenth Century, made a related argument. The book was notorious for other reasons.

People say Jesus was a Jew, and I am not sure if they mean genetically, culturally, or religiously. I asked Google Gemini AI, and it said all three. It said that Jesus was not a Christian, because Christianity was founded by Paul after Jesus died.

That seems crazy to me.

He has reduced child mortality and fueled an African population explosion. More development will cause global warming. Africa will not be able to feed itself. When Africa has a billion excess population, there will be a worldwide refugee crisis.

This is bizarre. Conflicts between Jews and Moslems in the Middle East go back decades, if not centuries. Why is this now an issue for a medical journal?

People are being called far right for opinions that were considered centrist 20 years ago. Ethnic nationalism describes what most of the world has been for millennia.

Britain has adopted policies of importing millions of Third World migrants. The effects on Britain, both medical and otherwise, have been overwhelmingly negative. Usually medical societies and journals stay out of political debates.

The journal could give arguments in favor of the migrant policy. But no, it just uses name-calling against the other side. This is the behavior of partisan fanatics with no solid medical or scientific backing for its opinions.

A lot of the people talking about low birth rates and worrying about not enough babies really means low birth rates for people they consider like them. Worried about the national identity of their countries, or even the racial makeup of their countries, and that's awful. Some of that is truly terrible.

No, it is not terrible for nations to be worried that they are being depopulated and replaced with foreigners having different national and racial identities. Nations should defend their people against being invaded and replaced.

Feminism has everything to do with the birth rates. It teaches that having babies should be entirely the choice of women, and that women can better fulfill their desires by having a career and forgoing babies. Birth rates always decline sharply when countries become more feminist.

And immigration also has everything to do with depopulation. In the USA, the population has increased entirely from immigration, and immigrant groups have the highest birth rates.

Wikipedia and others call this demographic change a conspiracy theory, there is no doubt that it is happening, and that it is driven by feminism, immigration, and differential ethnic fertility.

While ranking over a dozen options of scenarios on their importance to an individual's definition of personal success, male Donald Trump voters selected having children to be the most important, and female Kamala Harris voters ranked child-rearing as least important.

Only six percent of female Harris voters thought that having children was most important to them, while 34 percent of male Trump supporters said the same.

Yes, this is feminism and ideology at work. Throughout most of human history, women viewed having children as most important, not doing paperwork in a cubicle.

Britain Secretly Imports Thousands of Afghans

This was a screw-up on many levels. The war was a failure. UK made foolish promises. They carelessly leaked data. They paid billions to import them to England. They killed free press so that no one would know about it.

No, there is no evidence that these people were under any threat from the Taliban. The Taliban does not care about them. But the British people will suffer the consequences of this for generations to come.

The UK is destroying itself. It has imported millions of foreigners that the British do not want, but the government is forcing them on the nation.
