Mom Convicted of Using the N-word

News:

A woman who called a Black, autistic child a racial slur last year has been found guilty of one count of disorderly conduct and not guilty on another.

The incident, which occurred at a playground in Rochester in April of last year, was caught on video by a bystander and went viral. Shiloh Hendrix, 37, called a then 8-year-old boy the n-word after he allegedly reached into her diaper bag at Roy Sutherland playground in Soldier's Field Park and took an item. She then began cussing at the bystander, who is Black — hurling the n-word at him as well.

The incident prompted Rochester City Attorney Michael Spindler-Krage to charge Hendrix with two counts of disorderly conduct, one involving her words and behavior toward the child and the other involving her words and behavior toward the man who video taped the incident.

The guilty verdict was related to her behavior toward the man who video taped the confrontation.

Hendrix was sentenced immediately following the verdict being read. She was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine, was placed on probation and ordered to complete community service. She initially faced up to 90 days in jail, but will serve no jail time unless probation is broken.

The Somalian man video recorded himself begging the mom to use the N-word, so he could record and post it. She eventually complied as she walked away.

The conviction is for her attitude towards the adult Somalian man, not the child.

That 8-year-old Somalian is already a police-registered juvenile delinquent:

In his testimony, Jimale said his son has a history of running away and taking things that don’t belong to him because he is autistic. As a result, the child wears a law enforcement issued GPS tracker that helps police find the child when he runs off.

The problem here is that lawless and uncivilized Somalians have invaded Minnesota, and this poor mom cannot even take her small child to a public park without being harassed by Somalians. Even though she was the victim, the police, prosecutors, judge, and jury have sided with the Somalians.

French Soccer Pretends to be French

Sports have long tolerated, and even encouraged, trash talk, where fans badmouth the opposition players. Not anymore, I guess.

The French Football Federation announced Monday it would file a criminal complaint. “The racist comments made by Paraguayan senator Celeste Amarilla toward Kylian Mbappé are utterly vile and unacceptable,” the federation said in a statement. “These statements are criminal and condemnable. They must be prosecuted here and everywhere.”

Wikipedia Bans its Founder

The NY Post reports:

Left-leaning website Wikipedia has taken the drastic action of permanently blocking one of its founders from editing pages — after he had campaigned to make it more balanced and fair.

Last month, Larry Sanger launched WikiProject Intellectual Diversity (WID), a group designed to help reinforce the online encyclopedia’s “original, firm commitment to intellectual diversity,” by emphasizing neutrality and transparency.

However, Sanger — who coined the name “Wikipedia,” drafted the site’s foundational set of rules and guidelines, and launched the site alongside Jimmy Wales in 2001 — is now indefinitely blocked from editing, the most drastic action the site can take against an editor.

It is bizarre that a cabal of anonymous Wikipedia editors would ban someone for having a Wikipedia discussion outside Wikipedia.

I have posted here about Wikipedia controversies occasionally, and I did not realize that I could be accused of the sin of canvassing:

To justify the ban against Sanger, editors categorized Sangers’ recent efforts — most notably his intellectual diversity project — as “canvassing.” Wikipedia policy describes canvassing as alerting other editors on the site about editorial activity “with the intention of influencing the outcome of a discussion in a particular way.”

Canada may ban Residential school denialism

Canada has no free speech, and criminalizes facts:

In 2025, Dallas Brodie made posts on X that read in part: "The number of confirmed child burials at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School site is zero. Zero. No one should be afraid of the truth. Not lawyers, their governing bodies, or anyone else." The Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs responded with a statement condemning the posts and calling on Brodie to apologize "for promoting abhorrent rhetoric which minimizes the harms of Residential Schools and for misleading and emboldening the public against Indigenous people". On March 7, 2025, Brodie was removed from the Conservative Party of BC caucus as a result of her decision to publicly mock and belittle testimony from former residential school students.

It is true that the number is zero. Even if any are found, they are almost certainly from children who died of natural causes. The whole story is known as the "Mass Grave Hoax".

The Camp of the Saints

Amazon.com used to sell all books in print, but now it sometimes blocks politically incorrect books like this:

Complaints about Grok AI

AP reports:

Grok has been criticized for generating manipulated images, including depictions of women in bikinis or sexually explicit poses, as well as images involving children.

Maybe that is illegal in some countries, but in the USA, ads and social media have such stuff all the time.

Some images are illegal, but then it would also be illegal for Grok to generate such images internally for testing.

For decades, it has been easy to cut and paste someone's head to a naked body. Such pictures can be in poor taste, but I am not sure much can or should be done about it. There is a very long list of text, images, sounds, and videos, that some people say are offensive. AI can make such pictures more realistic, but it has also conditioned us to not take these seriously.

Grok was forced to reverse course after it appeared to make antisemitic posts, including comments that praised Adolf Hitler, saying it was taking down “inappropriate posts.”

The chatbot Grok shared several antisemitic posts, including the trope that Jews run Hollywood, and denied that such a stance could be described as Nazism.

I agree with Grok that Nazism does not mean saying that Jews run Hollywood.

I sometimes hear people complain that AI has reached a plateau, and is not much better than ChatGPT of a couple of years ago. Not true. The AI models have been progressing at a fairly steady pace for ten years, with no end in sight. Progress in just the last couple of months has been remarkable.

Schumer Proposes Censorship Resolution

Left-wing Jews are also attacking free speech. Democrat Jew Senator Chuck Schumer introduced this resolution:

Schumer is a Jew who has worked for decades to replace us with foreigners.

Whereas Fuentes has repeatedly peddled the white suprema- cist ‘‘Great Replacement Theory’’, which Fuentes calls the ‘‘Great Replacement REALITY’’, an antisemitic, racist, and xenophobic conspiracy theory that claims that Jews are orchestrating the replacement of native white Europeans from their countries by non-white immigrants;

Whereas, on June 6, 2024, Fuentes posted that ‘‘there are basically two things that are going on: White genocide and Jewish subversion’’;

Whereas, in March 2023, at a rally in Maryland, Fuentes declared, ‘‘I love Hitler’’, and targeted ‘‘Talmudic Jews’’, which is a white supremacist and antisemitic term for Jewish people, saying, according to reporting, that ‘‘Talmudic Jews need to either leave the county or be converted’’;

I would assume that a Talmudic Jew is a Jew who follows the Talmud, just as a Biblical Christian is a Christian who follows the Bible. How is this antisemitic?

The word antisemitism is coming to mean opposition to genocide.

(4) advancing the dual-loyalty trope by saying that Jewish Americans are loyal first to Israel and that ‘‘they have this international community across borders, extremely organized, that is putting the interests of themselves before the interests of their home country’’; and

(5) claiming that he sees ‘‘Jewishness’’ as the defining trait of his political opponents;

Schumer is extremely loyal to Israel, as noted in his Wikipedia article:

Schumer has called himself "Shomer Yisrael" or "Guardian of Israel", an epithet he has used for years. ...

In a March 2025 interview with Bret Stephens, Schumer said, "My job is to keep the left pro-Israel."

Yes, I think Jewishness is the defining trait of Fuentes' political opponents. No one else would complain about six million cookies.

The resolution goes on to attack Tucker Carlson and Heritage Foundation for not going along with Jewish censorship demands.

Jailed for Saying Sexual Choices are Mental

News:

A man in Switzerland is facing jail after refusing to pay a fine for a comment courts have ruled discriminates against the LGBTQ community after a three-year legal battle.

Emanuel Brunisholz, a Swiss wind instrument repairman, was convicted under the country’s anti-discrimination laws for an old Facebook comment.

In 2022, he pointed out that the biological differences between men and women are obvious by their skeletal structure.

“If you dig up LGBTQI people after 200 years, you’ll only find men and women based on their skeletons. Everything else is a mental illness promoted through the curriculum,” he wrote on Facebook.

The post was reported to police, and Brunisholz was questioned a few months later. He was found guilty of discrimination and incitement to hatred by a court in Bern.

He appealed the decision in regional court in 2023 but was again found guilty and racked up 600 Swiss francs ($753) in court fees.

The court issued a fine of 500 Swiss francs in lieu of a ten-day jail term but Brunisholz refused to pay the fine and accepted incarceration instead, posting his summons on X earlier this month. He is to begin serving his sentence on December 2.

Free Speech Right to Align Identity to Sex

The US Supreme Court just heard oral argument on Chiles v. Salazar

Chiles v. Salazar, Docket No. 24-539, is a pending United States Supreme Court case regarding the constitutionality of Colorado's Minor Conversion Therapy Law (MCTL), which bans conversion therapy for minors by licensed mental health professionals. The ban was challenged on violating the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, though the state had constrained the ban to licensed professionals and only as with respect to their professional duties. The ban was upheld in lower courts.

Many briefs are posted.

Here is the argument against the law:

This law harms gender dysphoric kids 1:40:41 because the statistics that we've cited in our verified complaint as well as in 1:40:46 the uh brief that we cited with this court indicate that 90% of young people who are struggling with gender dysphoria 1:40:53 before puberty work their way through it and realign their identity with their sex. But if one of those children go to 1:41:00 a counselor and they specifically say that is the help I want realigning my identity with their sex, they cannot 1:41:07 receive that help from someone like my client. Moreover, if they're continuing 1:41:12 down the path of transition, then unfortunately they get locked into that path and eventually it leads over 90% of 1:41:21 the time once they start down the path of social transition. It will lead to the route of medicalized transition 1:41:27 which the Cass report tells us comes with a lot of harm and devastation.

Conversion therapy applies to homosexuality, and has become more controversial when it is applied to transgender identity. About half the states have similar laws, so a psychotherapist can counsel a patient to go homosexual, but not to go straight.

I am struck by all the bogus language in this case.

The argument in favor of the law is that there is a "medical consensus" on the "standard of care" that "conversion therapy" is not supported by "evidence-based practice". The therapy is "ineffective" and "potentially harmful". Changing sexual preferences is impossible because they are "innate" and "immutable". Homosexuality and transgenderism have been determined to be not pathological, so there can be no legitimate treatment to change them. Any such effort is harmful because, among other things, it can cause "family alienation". No reputable medical society or expert testimonty supports such therapy.

This is all so crazy I don't know where to stert. All psychotherapies are ineffective and potentially harmful. Say you go to a shrink or any other medical professional because you are obese and want advice getting to a healthier weight. The vast majority of people getting such advice do not lose weight. That means the advice is ineffective. Many patients get angry or depressed or develop other unhealthy habits. That means the advice is potentially harmful.

The easy way out for the therapist is the affirm the fatness, and tell the patient to stay fat. Perhaps the studies would categorize such therapy as more successful, because the patient is happier in the short term, by avoid the struggle to lose weight.

All the medical societies need to do is the announce that fatness is not pathological. Maybe also that it is innate and immutable.

This might seem like an artificial example, but it is not. People see psychotherapy for all sorts of problems, including depression, alcoholism, and personality disorders. All of these are heritable, and cannot be changed without a lot of hard work. Most psychotherapy does not work. Some people do change, with help and motivation.

Our medical societies have been corrupted to where they refuse to help kids who need help. Saying that there is a consensus is just proof of how the system has been politicized. The field of Psychology hardly ever has a consensus on anything. For something as controversial as transgenderism, a healthy profession would have a diversity of opinions on what to do about it. Maybe they would accept scientific evidence, but there is no proof that affirming transgenderism has ever benefited anyone.

I think the Supreme Court ducked the issue of conversion therapy for homosexuals, but required licensed psychotherapists to tell small kids to change gender identity is too much. I expect the Colorado law to be struck down. Such laws should have been struck down ten years ago.

Update: The strange thing is that the whole idea of conversion therapy harm is that it can be frustrating to change what you really are. But the approved transgender affirmation therapy does exactly that.

Violence comes from the Left

Prof. John R. Lott writes:

On Sunday, at the memorial for Charlie Kirk — murdered by a leftist because of his political views — President Donald Trump declared “that violence comes mainly from the left.”

This is hotly disputed, and some leftists claim the opposite.

Not everyone agrees. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) countered with its latest annual report, claiming, “This is the third year in a row that right-wing extremists have been connected to all identified extremist-related killings.” According to the ADL, between 2022 and 2024, there were 34 so-called “right-wing extremist” murderers, with 23 of them (68 percent) white supremacists. They say their attacks took 61 lives.

Lott goes down the list, and finds as many left-wingers as right-wingers.

Yahoo reports:

Having designated “Antifa” a “domestic terrorist organization,” President Donald Trump has signed a memorandum seeking to “dismantle” what he is calling domestic terror “networks” in the wake of a deadly shooting this week at an immigration facility in Texas.

Trump has solely blamed Democratic officials and left-leaning groups for incidents of political violence while largely dismissing evidence against right-wing or other ideologically motivated attacks.

Censorship also comes from the Left. The Jewish Leftist ADL tweets:

We're glad to see @YouTube acted to remove Alex Jones' and Nick Fuentes' new channels within hours of their creation. But why were they able to create new accounts on the platform after being banned for many years?

Fuentes is anti-Israel, but I thought that Jones was pro-Israel.

Kimmel deserves to lose his TV Show

The press is complaining that the FCC pressured ABC tv to fire Kimmel for telling an anti-Trump joke, and this is a threat to free speech. Nope.

According to the Hollywood Reporter:

Kimmel was “defending what he said [as] being grossly mischaracterized by a certain group of people,” the show source says.

THR reported on Wednesday that Kimmel did not plan to apologize for his comments, but did plan to address the situation on-air.

Talks between Kimmel and Disney/ABC hit enough of a stalemate that executives there decided Wednesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! had run out of time to be salvaged. The show’s live-to-tape time was not far off — the studio audience was lined up outside but had not yet been brought in. (Jimmy Kimmel Live! tapes live at 4 p.m. PT.)

By this point, 66 of the roughly 200 affiliate stations had said they would not carry the episode — that’s when ABC announced it was suspending the program — a Bob Iger and Dana Walden joint decision that was a “last resort,” the first person says. Walden delivered the news to Kimmel but did not ask him to apologize, says the source, who described Wednesday as “a very heavy, very hard day” inside the walls of Disney and ABC.

Kimmel did not tell a joke. He told a nasty anti-Kirk anti-Trump lie, and refused to correct it.

Kimmel broadcast a claim that maga Trump supporters killed Kirk. This is false. Someone who tells nasty lies like, and refuses to correct them, that should not be on the air.

Kimmel is not funny, and not entertaining. He disgusted a lot of people in the past, such as when he went on a rant about how the government should pay for his baby's health care, based on an entirely false argument about pre-existing conditions.

The real threat to free speech is how evil jerks like Kimmel demonize normies like Kirk, and encourage the shooting.

Kirk had a genuine following. It will be interesting to see if Kimmel loses his tv show, and he has a genuine following, then he should be able to prosper with Youtube shows or other new media channels. I doubt it.

I am not suggesting that Kimmel be canceled like Alex Jones. Both got into trouble for theorizing about a recent tragedy. The difference is that Kimmel's employer asked him to correct himself, and he refused. And Jones was ruined while Kimmel is still drawing a salary.

Ninety Days for Using the N-word on a Somali

I mentioned the Minnesota White mom who got harassed by Somalis in a public park. One of them badgered her into using the Ni**** word on camera, and continued with online harassment.

Now she is being charged:

I see stories like this from Britain or Europe, and thought that it could not happen here, because he have free speech.

Watch the video. She is the one being harassed. If anyone should be charged, it would be the Somali for harassing her. She was just trying to tend to her child in the park.

Yesterday's newspapers had front-page stories about how Pres. Trump was violating our free speech rights by threatening to prosecute flag-burners.

It is obvious from the city announcement that this prosecution is entirely based on the mom being White, and the Somali accuser being Black.

NY Times Targets College Student for Views

The NY Times spent years promoting The 1619 Project, where a Black woman argued that America was founded as a White supremacist nation.

Now the paper has a big story complaining that a White college student expressed similar ideas in a class paper:

Preston Damsky is a law student at the University of Florida. ...

In his capstone paper for the class, Mr. Damsky argued that the framers had intended for the phrase “We the People,” in the Constitution’s preamble, to refer exclusively to white people. From there, he argued for the removal of voting rights protections for nonwhites, and for the issuance of shoot-to-kill orders against “criminal infiltrators at the border.” Turning over the country to “a nonwhite majority,” Mr. Damsky wrote, would constitute a “terrible crime.” White people, he warned, “cannot be expected to meekly swallow this demographic assault on their sovereignty.” At the end of the semester, Mr. Damsky, 29, was given the “book award,” which designated him as the best student in the class.

It says he also posted some online offensive comments, but did not link to any.

I searched, and here is his paper on the Constitution Article V and 14A. A law professor evaluates the latter paper, and says that it is pretty good.

Here is his most offensive tweet:

My position on Jews is simple: whatever Harvard professor Noel Ignatiev meant by his call to “abolish the White race by any means necessary” is what I think must be done with Jews. Jews must be abolished by any means necessary.

Now that the NY Times has targeted him, he has been suspended from the university.

It is absurd that the NY Times targets this student in this way. He is entitled to his opinions. We do not know if there are really his opinions, as class papers and tweets are often deliberately provocative to try to defend a peculiar view.

There are indeed two views about American founding. One says that it was a grand egalitarian experiment, open to all. The other says that it was only for White Christians. If we are going to let people express one view, we should also allow the other.

The paper does not rebut either side, but apparently the topic is so toxic that people get fired for any views on it.

One former student, who graduated in May, had his post-graduation job offer rescinded by a large law firm when he told them he had spoken to The New York Times for this article, criticizing Mr. Damsky’s paper and Judge Badalamenti for granting him the award. The student asked not to be identified for fear of jeopardizing other job offers.

Before his suspension, Mr. Damsky had been offered a summer internship in the local prosecutor’s office. But in early April, the prosecutor, Brian Kramer, the state attorney for the Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida, rescinded the offer.

This is pretty crazy. Lawyers are trained to argue views that are not necessarily their own, in order to defend a client. We are not supposed to care about the personal views of a lawyer. Only that he advocates in behalf of the client.

Harvard Deserves to be Defunded

Academics are claiming McCarthyism about the Trump administration putting conditions on grants to Columbia and Harvard universities.

Let's get this in perspective. Columbia and Harvard have the worst free speech ratings of any USA colleges.

Harvard has a $50 billion endowment, and gets about $10 billion in federal grants a year.

The federal government has a long history of using such conditions to force wokism, leftism, feminism, and DEI on colleges. Boys sports programs were abolished to make room for girls sports programs, and then trans-identifying boys were allowed to compete against girls. Sexual behavior trials were held without the most basic fairness. Incompetent Blacks were promoted to the highest positions.

The colleges are now mostly anti-White, anti-man, and anti-Trump.

The Trump policies may seem a little heavy-handed, but it will take much more to get the colleges to be racially and politically neutral.

The New Facebook Rules

Facebook announces:

We remove dehumanizing speech, allegations of serious immorality or criminality, and slurs. We also remove harmful stereotypes, which we define as dehumanizing comparisons that have historically been used to attack, intimidate, or exclude specific groups, and that are often linked with offline violence. Finally, we remove serious insults, expressions of contempt or disgust, cursing, and calls for exclusion or segregation when targeting people based on protected characteristics.

This list seems like an improvement over their system of fact-checkers. They put a lot of thought into this, so it is interesting to see what they concluded.

Harmful stereotypes historically linked to intimidation or violence, such as Blackface; Holocaust denial; claims that Jewish people control financial, political, or media institutions; references to Dalits as menial laborers; and comparing Black people to farm equipment.

I did not know that any of those things were linked to intimidation or violence. Blackface was mainly done for entertainment. You could run into trouble with Jews by just stating facts.

Finally, sometimes people curse at a gender in the context of a romantic break-up. Our policies are designed to allow room for these types of speech.

So if I just broke up with my girlfriend and I am upset about it, I guess I can say that I hate women.

The New Red Scare

The Princeton U president writes in The Atlantic magazine:

The United States is home to the best collection of research universities in the world. Those universities have contributed tremendously to America’s prosperity, health, and security. They are magnets for outstanding talent from throughout the country and around the world.

The Trump administration’s recent attack on Columbia University puts all of that at risk, presenting the greatest threat to American universities since the Red Scare of the 1950s. Every American should be concerned.

The rise of the American research university in the 20th century depended on many factors, including two crucial turning points. The first, at the start of the century, was the development of strong principles of academic freedom that allowed people and ideas to be judged by scholarly standards, not according to the whims or interests of powerful trustees, donors, or political officials.

This is the same college that fired a tenured classics professor because he denounced a student group, the Black Justice League, as “a small local terrorist organization”. Or maybe it was because he married one of his former students, it is hard to tell. At any rate, Princeton has already sold out its academic freedom.

Columbia and Harvard sold out even worse.

So why is he so upset? The Trump administration demands that recipients of federal funds do not racially discriminate, support free speech, and stop harassing Jews.

These colleges get a lot of federal money, with not much accountability to what taxpayers want. I think that they will have to face some cutbacks. Princeton is extremely rich, and does not need any federal money.

The Red Scare of the 1950s primarily affected professors who advocated Communism at a time that Communist countries were doing horrible things and were enemies of the USA. I am in favor of free speech, but the Commies were terrible and did not deserve taxdollar support.

Professor Upset by Students with Opinions

Computer Science prof. Scott Aaronson endlessly complains:

I, of course, survived attempted cancellation by a large online mob a decade ago, led by well-known figures such as Amanda Marcotte and Arthur Chu. Though it was terrifying at the time—it felt like my career and even my life were over

No, this is grossly exaggerated. He is a big-shot tenured professor at a top university, and his employers never had any interests about his narcissistic little rants about his dating troubles.

He claims to hate the Woke Left, but he is a Jewish academic, and he has Trump Derangement Syndrome. He would probably be a Trump supporter, along with his Israeli wife, but his religion will not allow it.

Now he rants against Trump, and wants to cancel some low-level workers in his administration because of some supposedly offensive tweets from being a student many years ago. He says an apology is not enough, and they must be "willing to have a good-faith moral conversation with the world, and nearly unlimited contempt for people who mock the request for such a conversation."

So what set him off? Apparently this:

He also refers to "my little tribe of pro-Enlightenment, science-loving nerds".

No, he is not pro-Enlightenment. The Enlightenment did not say that people with opinions are accountable to him. Free speech means being able to express an opinion, and not having to explain it to moralistic and judgmental leftists like him.

Update: Depending on context, the above tweets could easily be innocuous joking, or provocative. But I am not trying to make excuses to explain the tweets away. I say that the author should be able to express his opinions whatever they may be. Depending how you define the term, 50-95% of the world is racist. Sayings something racist should not trigger an inquisition.

Update: Physicist Sean M. Carroll posts a 70-minute rant against possible science funding cuts. He is pessimistic about his research grant being renewed, and about paying overhead. He says foreign students will never come here again, and he might even leave the country.

In case you are worried that some vital science might be lost, he main researches many-worlds theory. This is the theory that every time you make a decision or toss a coin, the other possible results happen in imaginary parallel universes. There is no way to communicate with these parallel universes or find evidence for them, but he likes to think about them anyway. Aaronson is also a proponent of this theory. Yes, it is just as crazy as it sounds.

Indefinitely Blocked from Wikipedia

I have received an indefinite block on Wikipedia. I appealed, with no success.

My main offense was that in a discussion of Leo Frank, who was lynched a century ago in Georgia, I expressed the opinion that there was no consensus that he was innocent. To support this, I said to just google it.

This infuriated some Wikipedia editors because googling it turns up a web site maintained by some disreputable folks, and Wikipedia refuses to link to that site.

It is not just disreputable people who are unconvinced of his innocence. Georgia officials have repeatedly been asked to pardon him postumously, and have refused to do it.

I am baffled that I would be kicked out over such an obscure issue. Wikipedia has hundreds of articles that are much more contentious.

Yes, he was only Jew ever lynched, and it appears that he was framed by a Black man. It is not clear whether his Jewishness worked for him or against him, and not clear what really happened. His story was instrumental in the founding of the Anti-Defamation League.

The editors who banned me also doxed me, and complained about my relatives and opinions on this blog.

Wikipedia is currently fundraising, but not for its server expenses. The NY Post reports:

Elon Musk urged his supporters not to donate to the nonprofit that runs Wikipedia after the organization budgeted more than $50 million to spend on controversial diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

“Stop donating to Wokepedia until they restore balance to their editing authority,” Musk wrote Tuesday on X, where he has nearly 210 million followers.

Running its computer servers is only a couple of million dollars year.
