Teacher says being Straight is Offensive

The NY Post reports:
A Seattle high school teacher has been accused of berating a student for describing himself as “straight” — saying it’s “offensive” because it suggests LGBTQ people must be “crooked.”
This may be an isolated incident, but this is coming. Many public schools now teach kids to be an LGTBQ slly. in other words, to take sides in the culture wars.

LGBTQ folks are crooked. Try looking up queer in a dictionary.

The Outing of RationalWiki

I thought that RationalWiki was run by leftists. But look at this memory-holed City Journal article:
David Zimmerman
The Cancel-Culture Troll with a Neo-Nazi Past

A surreal tale of one man’s campaign against an academic field

RationalWiki does personal attacks on people for ideological reasons. It turns out that the anonymous author of a lot of their slanderous articles has an embarrassing past.

Sailer also comments, but does not know why the article disappeared.

If you get blamed anyway, why apologize?

NY Times columnist David A. French writes:
If the quote was fine, in context, why apologize?
Apparently this all started with someone quoting Hitler:
“He alone who owns the youth gains the future.”
French is a Christian who had to repudiate his LGBTQ views in order to get a job at the NY Times.

I do not think that anyone is actually offended by quoting Hitler. All famous people get quoted. Jews raise issues like this just to prove that they can control what you say.

To answer his question, there is nothing wrong with quoting Hitler. But if the Jews at the NY Times say you are not allowed to quote Hitler, then it is easier to apologize than to explain it to them.

Colonialism: A Moral Reckoning

Here is a review of a new book on colonialism.

Apparently the woke refuse to admit that British and European colonial was overwhelmingly beneficial to India, Africa, and a lot of other places. They wanted this book canceled.

I am not sure what is going on here. If they thought that the book was wrong, they would just point to contrary evidence.

I think it is just White hatred. They just don't want to admit that their people benefited from Whites and White culture.

The French are No Longer The French

The Associated Press tweets:
We deleted an earlier tweet because of an inappropriate reference to French people. We did not intend to offend.

Writing French people, French citizens, etc., is good. But "the" terms for any people can sound dehumanizing and imply a monolith rather than diverse individuals.

That is why we recommend avoiding general “the” labels such as the poor, the mentally ill, the wealthy, the disabled, the college-educated.

Yes, France used to be composed of French people, and French was a meaningful national identity. No more, I guess. The NY Times says The French Want to Remain the French.

Ann Coulter writes:

Lots of politicians have been caught burnishing their resumes, but recently, one of our elected representatives has come under fire for telling some real whoppers. And no, I’m not talking about George Santos.

In a space of three days last fall, President Joe Biden claimed to be Puerto Rican, practice Judaism and to have lost his house in a natural disaster.

She then details a list of examples of Biden lying about his past.

Respecting Everybody's Choices

Fox News essay reports:
Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov recently infuriated sports journalists when he refused to wear a rainbow jersey for warmups during "Pride Night," citing his Russian Orthodox faith. "I respect everybody and I respect everybody's choices. My choice is to stay true to myself and my religion."
The essay goes on to list sports commentators who wanted to punish him for this, and argues that he should have freedom of religion.

I do not agree with the essay, to the extent that it suggests Provorov's rights are somehow contingent on his religion. He is not the one injecting homosexuality opinions into a hockey game. If it is permissable to say that homosexuality is good, then the contrary opinion ought to be acceptable also. Religion should not be an issue.

Perhaps religion is the issue. He said that his religion is his choice. Jews and Moslems do not believe that. They believe that you are born into Judaism and Islam.

Even the anti-religion atheist zealot Sam Harris adamantly argues that he has no choice about being a Jew. He even argues that he has no free will at all, and do not feel that he ever makes any free choices.

Some Islamic countries have the death penalty for any Moslem who chooses another religion. They think people must do what God wills.

Jews and Moslems like that do not even grasp the concept of freedom. They cannot respect free choices, because they do not believe in any such thing.

Those objecting to Provorov's statement are essentially arguing against free choices. If their view prevails, then the Flyers are not making a pro-Pride or pro-sodomy statement at all. They are merely tools of an anti-freedom ideology.

Funny how Russians seem to appreciate freedom more than Americans. Maybe he has seen the destruction of Commies in action.

Term Field Replaced with Practicum

Fox News reports:
The University of Southern California's School of Social Work will no longer use the word "field" because it "may have connotations for descendants of slavery and immigrant workers that are not benign," according to a letter from the department.

USC's Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work will make the change in order to ensure the use of "inclusive language and practice," according to the letter.

"Specifically, we have decided to remove the term ‘field’ from our curriculum and practice and replace it with ‘practicum,'" the letter said. "This change supports anti-racist social work practice by replacing language that would be considered anti-Black or anti-immigrant in favor of inclusive language."

I will be looking to see if anyone really uses the term practicum. I never heard of it.

Update: I mentioned Stanford's list of harmful language. The list has now been taken down.

No, Stanford did not change its mind about the language being harmful. It still argues that terms like "master/slave" are racist, and must be eliminated. It only said that it was working on a more inclusive list, because of technical criticism.

But Stanford is not alone in seeking to remove harmful language from its college communications. On the contrary—many colleges engage in such practices, though they are less transparent in their practices. Also, some acknowledge that their efforts, which have not engaged their communities, could be seen as performative.
Performative? That means that no one believes that this language is really harmful, but it is being purged anyway to appease political factions.

Update: Here is some USC student reaction. Example:

if the phrases being replaced originated from slavery or have an offensive origin, she supports the decision.
No, it does not have an offensive origin. It is just something to complain about.

Leftist Hate Speech Still on Twitter

I checked Twitter for hate speech, and I found this Hillary Clinton tweet:
The Republican Party and its mouthpieces now regularly spread hate and deranged conspiracy theories. It is shocking, but not surprising, that violence is the result. As citizens, we must hold them accountable for their words and the actions that follow.
She is spreading misinformation. No, the Pelosi attack was not the result of the Republican Party regularly spreading hate. She is the one spreading hate to say this.

She also has a veiled threat against her enemies. She says "hold them accountable for their words", and apparently wants to punish politicians for their free speech.

Pres. Biden says similar things, and also blamed people who say the Presidential election was stolen. So did Barack Obama. Of course, H. Clinton has been saying for years that the 2016 election was stolen.

Clinton and Biden are essentially saying that no one should be allowed to disagree with them.

Perhaps you are going to argue that right-wing speech is more offensive than left-wing speech. I do not agree. For example, it is left-wingers who are grooming schoolchildren with sexualized messages. That is more offensive than anything I have seen on the Daily Stormer.

Update: The story that the Pelosi attacker is a MAGA fanatic appears to be a lie. See here and here.

Also, I wonder why San Francisco police were so timid. They apparently got to the scene promptly, and did nothing, according to the NY Times:

Nancy Pelosi, the House speaker, was thousands of miles away in Washington, D.C., protected by her security detail, but her husband, 82-year-old Paul Pelosi, was home. By the time police officers arrived after being dispatched at 2:27 a.m., they found the assailant and Mr. Pelosi wrestling for control of a hammer. The intruder then pulled the hammer away and “violently attacked” Mr. Pelosi with it in front of the officers, said William Scott, San Francisco’s chief of police.
An intruder with a hammer attacking an 82-year-old resident should have been shot on sight. My guess is that SF cops are trained to not intervene when an rich old man appears to having rough gay sex with a much younger man.

This incident was soon after it was revealed that Nancy Pelosi threatened to punch Pres. Trump, and would be happy to go to jail for it. Probably a coincidence.

Update: There are still some fishy things about the incident. A TV station reported that the attacker was in his underwear, but that has now been denied. Also denials:

There were media reports that a third person opened the front door to allow officers to enter the Pelosi home. Jenkins said that was not true.

"At this time, we don't have information as to which of the men, Mr. Pelosi or the suspect, opened the door at the time," Jenkins said.

So oneof them let the cops in, and then the cops watched the attacker beat Pelosi with a hammer? Hard to believe.

Update: More doubts about the attack story.

Promoting the Poison of Translunacy

Libs of TikTok has videos of Jewish medical women advocating child sex mutilation. It is sick.
Rachel Simon, who conducts transgender "therapy" on children as young as 4, said that "sexuality education starts the minute you're born" and encouraged teens to distrust their "bigoted, misinformed parents," especially if they are "religious."
I should not have to explain why this is wrong. For now, I just post this to point out that it is going on, and with the approval of major medical centers and the Democrat Party.

A reader writes:

You have the tranny movement all wrong. The goal is to identify boys who are likely to grow up to be gay men, and castrate them. To identify girls who are unlikely to be good mothers, and mutilate their bodies so that they will not have babies. To destroy womens sports so that girls do sports recreationally, but not competitively. And to destroy feminism by letting it be taken over by men.

The Jews are needed because they like to be at the forefront of radically destructive movements. If neo-nazis proposed anything like this, they would be in jail. Jews can push these causes and seem like enlightened liberals, and be praised by other Jews.

Nobody says that these are the goals, but I can that they might be the likely effects.

How Some Women Hate Incel Freaks

Scott Aaronson is a famous computer science professor, former nerdy incel, and popular blogger. He is now married with two kids. Apparently he still matches the nerdy incel stereotype, and some despise him for it. See this in the name of a female grad student who has since disavowed it:
Annnnnndddd now the famous free-speech-defending rationalist blogger with all his “principles” stoops to the level of doxxing commenters on his site who call him out on his sexist bullshit. Who would have guessed.

FYI, I do have a friend who knows somebody who was at a workship with Scott, and yes, he is a bit creepy. The word on the street is that he wears the same dirty T-shirt pretty much every day. Personal hygiene leaves something to be desired, to put it lightly. And does give off a weird/awkward/creepy vibe. At least that’s what people tell me.

I know his type. I’ve been harassed and flirted with by a (well-known) professor at CalTech. It fucking hurts. It’s so gross. I’ve had professors where—yeah, I could just tell they were oggling me, even if it didn’t rise to the level of overt harassment. And the other men in your program. I don’t want to be looked at, I don’t want to be oggled, I don’t want comments on my appearance. Imagine walking into a room of 90% guys and seeing them turn to oggle you. Imagine the awkward flirting and desperate attempts to ask you out. And they’re always so awkward and weird about it. They never have any confidence. You hear the heavy breathing and the “uhmmmm…ex…ex…excuse me, uh…I was wondering if…” 🤮 It’s like get some fucking confidence guys. It’s so awkward and gross and creepy. I’ve had many uncomfy moments, guys trying to ask me out or compliment me on my appearance or make awkward small talk, and I’ve had the occassional moment where I felt actively unsafe. There are so many of these weird/awkward creeps who are so desperate and don’t know how to fit in or socialize or even ask a girl out without sounding creepy. It makes working in STEM a living hell.

So yeah, I know Scott’s type. I can smell the unwashed T-shirt with the orange soda stain and the BO from here 🤮 I can hear his creepy breathing and stuttering “uhmmm, A…Aida…I was uhmm wondering if uhmmm maybe you uhhhh…” 🤮 These incel freaks need to get the fuck out of science. Maybe go work in Russia where they’re all sexist men like you.

As another comment summarizes:
“I hate it when people judge me based on my appearance” … “You look like a creep.”
“I hate it when guys compliment me on my appearance” … “Here’s an insult about your appearance.”
“I hate it when guys stereotype” … “I know his type.”
She says that someone appears to be impersonating her, but does not say that someone is impersonating her.

Whether the grad student comment is properly attributed or not, it does demonstrate some female attitudes. She pretends that her life is made miserable by incidents that are quite trivial. She complains when men flirt with her, but only if those men do not measure up to her expectations in some way. She complains that some men do not know how to socialize, but she is obviously terrible at socializing herself.

Most of all, she despises the "incel freaks" so much that she wants them to get out of science!

Even more vile hatred comes from a deranged man turned trans woman signing as "Typical Scott". Read them yourself for examples of crazy woke destructiveness.

Aaronson said he was considering restricting comments to be non-anonymous, but then he got a bunch of forged comments from Computer Science professors. Some of the comments were very innocuous, such as vacation recommendations. Apparently some people will go to a lot of trouble to bully someone perceived as a nerdy incel type.

Aaronson is a leftist Trump-hater who goes along with 95% of the Leftist agenda, and is hated because he refuses to go along with the last 5%.

If any of these people had any real grievances, they would be targeting the causes.

Another comment:

I’m having a hard time believing a PhD at CalTech would be so foolish as to post a comment like Aida’s, but if it *is* her, I can only imagine she felt safe in doing so due to having been “harassed and flirted with by a (well-known) professor”. What a world we live in.
Yes, that is the crazy world we live in. An intelligent woman can post something very foolish because she has her own trivial MeToo grievance.

We used to have feminists who claimed that they wanted equality with men. Just give them the opportunities, and they will do what the men do.

It was always a lie. These women whine endlessly about things that no man would ever complain about.

Update: I posted this comment to Aaronson's blog, referring to him going to work for OpenAI to study the ethics of AI:

Scott, in your new job, I hope you consider that we could be witnessing the AI of the future. Companies like Disney will hire unscrupulous marketing firms that create intelligent bots to promote their products. The bots will scan your blog, figure out what triggers you, select impersonations that might plausibly post comments, determine how to get comments past your moderation scheme, drive you into a rage, and ultimately sell you on a vacation cruise to get away from the madness. If done well, no one will ever know what is real and what is not.

Or maybe someone did this to you just to open your eyes to what an evil AI might do.

For more from the grad student, see this essay trashing physicist R.P. Feyman:
When family friends heard that I wanted to be a physicist, I was gifted not one but two copies of “Surely You’re Joking, Mr. Feynman!”: (Adventures of a Curious Character). Mainly autobiographical, Surely You’re Joking is a collection of anecdotes from the physicist Richard Feynman that span his youth, work on the Manhattan project, and experiences as a Caltech professor in the 60’s and 70’s, at which point he was well-established as one of the greatest minds of the 20th century. ...

Either I had misjudged Feynman, or others weren’t judging him enough. I borrowed a copy of Surely You’re Joking from the Caltech library (there are 11 available) to investigate. In my second reading, I learned that Feynman enjoyed doing research at topless bars near Caltech, where he also picked up a habit of drawing nude portraits of women.1 ...

We must condemn harassment and discrimination, wherever they occur—our lab meetings, our conferences, our scientific spaces.

So she lost her copies, and needed library copies? Things that did not offend her before, suddenly became offensive after taking a women's studies class?

She has no examples of actual harassment or discriminiation. If anything, she has benefitted from policies favoring women, and she is harassing incel types.

Update: She wrote:

But we must consider Feynman in all his manifestations—a brilliant scientist, but also a narcissist whose sexist behavior did undeniable harm.
I do deny that his behavior did any harm. She gives no examples of harm. She just has a feminist belief in restricting what he can do.

Some messages suggested that she is Iranian and anti-Israel, and that may have caused hostility towards Feynman and Aaronson, as they are Jewish. I doubt it. I think she is just following the feminist MeToo playbook, and trying to sexually punish men in misguided pursuit of female sexual advancement. This is what feminism is all about.

Update: Here is a video on Ben Shapiro Explains the REAL History of Feminism. It is pretty good, leading up the trans denial of sex. But he bypasses the MeToo anti-male feminism that I think is the dominant form today. It seeks to expand female freedom and choice, while constricting men's.

The African Population Bomb

Steve Sailer reports on the world's most important graph:
In 1950, there were three Europeans for every sub-Saharan African. By 2005 the ratio was one to one. In 2022, there are 1.55 Africans for every European, and by 2050 there should be three Africans for every European. And out in the mists of 2100, the UN is projecting almost six sub-Saharans for each European.
At the end of this century, which will have been more important? That sea level went up three feet, or that Black African demographically replaced Europeans?

Remember the story about US Border Patrol agents on horseback whipping illegal aliens to keep them out? The NY Times now reports that investigation proved the claim to be completely false, but agents are being punished anyway because:

Some accused the United States of discriminating against Black migrants in its immigration system, which the administration has denied.

Mr. Magnus said one particularly denigrating comment stood out. One of the agents on horseback was recorded telling a Haitian migrant, “This is why your country’s shit because you use your women for this.”

I am surprised the NY Times prints that word. Here is the NY Post, with a worse word:
The woman goes on to say “I’m gonna bring my n– down here and he gonna f–k you up. My n— is gonna come down here right now and f–k you up!” ...

Then Simon can be seen walking in and going immediately behind the counter.

“What’s up with you? N—-r what is wrong with you?” he demands.

Alba, 51, who was in the middle of ringing up a woman, holds out his left arm as Simon approaches him. The female customer reaches across the counter as if she’s trying to get Simon’s attention.

The fatal stabbing was edited from the tape obtained by The Post. But previously released video showed Simon push Alba into a chair before the two men start tussling and Simon was stabbed.

The video shows a bloody Simon laying on the bodega floor and his girlfriend crying out, “That was over $3. Three f–king dollars. He snatched something out of my daughter…please help him.”

NYPD officers arrive and led Alba away.

I am not sure why that N-word is considered so offensive. It is obvious that Black people use it all the time, and see nothing particularly offensive about it. Only White liberals consider it offensive.

The story is about two Blacks attacking a store clerk who then used a knife in self-defense. Yes, a man is dead because two Blacks attacked a clerk instead of paying for a $3 item.

The clerk has been arrested for murder. The video clearly shows that it was self-defense.

Update: Surveys show that most Africans want to move to the West. Get ready for a billion Black immigrants.

Canada Bans some Historical Opinions

Thomas Dalton writes:
On April 8, it was announced that Canada would soon be joining an illustrious club: the enlightened nations of the world that have elected to ban so-called Holocaust denial. Depending on how one interprets the law, there are currently 18 nations that either explicitly ban “Holocaust denial” (including Germany, Austria, France, Israel, Italy, Poland, Hungary, and Russia) or generically ban “denial of genocide” (Switzerland and Lichtenstein). Canada would then be the nineteenth nation in this honor roll of obsequiousness.

Canada’s action comes not long after the UN General Assembly approved a related resolution, A/76/L.30, on 22 January 2022, “condemning” such denial.

He goes on to explain that most of the denial is centered around several technical issues where there is genuine historical dispute.

I will not quote them here, as I do not want to get banned in Canada or Europe. I also have no expertise.

As Dalton says, no one denies that millions of Jews died in the hands of the German Nazis. However, these laws make it clear that (1) there are aspects to the story that do not hold up to scrutiny; and (2) political interests require that certain falsehoods be maintained.

These censorship laws are only ever passed to suppress truths, as there are better ways to rebut falsehoods.

News:

JERUSALEM, May 2 (Reuters) - Israel lambasted Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Monday for claiming Adolf Hitler had Jewish origins, saying it was an "unforgivable" falsehood that debased the horrors of the Nazi Holocaust. ...

"Such lies are intended to accuse the Jews themselves of the most horrific crimes in history that were committed against them," Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said in a statement.

"The use of the Holocaust of the Jewish people for political purposes must stop immediately," he added. ...

U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken weighed in later on the comments by his Russian counterpart saying it was "incumbent on the world to speak out against such vile, dangerous rhetoric."

Okay, I can agree with stopping to use the Jewish Holocaust for political purposes. But apparenly Blinken does not agree, and says it is important to speak out against speculation about Hitler's origins.

On the subject of history, the leaked abortion opinion says that the pro-abortion opinions have been lying about the history of abortion law for 50 years. While there is a lot of Democrat criticism of the result, I will be interested to see if anyone rebuts the reasoning of the leaked opinion. The NY Times already has about ten articles on the subject, but nothing defending the disputed reasoning of Roe v Wade.

Also, it is interesting to see everyone on the Left call this a women's issue, when current leftist dogma is that men can get pregnant. Do they think a pregnant man has a right to an abortion, or not?

Why Squaw Valley Ski Resort was Renamed

Indian Country Today republished this article on how nobody ever thought the word squaw was offensive until some jerk appeared on some stupid talk show:
Of all the support for the negative, the word s-word got its highest claim to defame when Suzan Shown Harjo, a Cheyenne and Hodulgee Muscogee American Indian rights activist appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show and said on-air that s-word was an Algonquin word meaning vagina and that the word s-word was viewed by many Native people as the “S-word.”

Though several journalists have supported Harjo, the jury is still out when it comes to the meaning of the word s-word. Most historians and linguists appear to be more supportive of a non-derogatory meaning, the use of the word is still looked at as offensive to many others.

In the years since Harjo’s appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show, efforts to rename geographical sites swung into full-force. In the first four months of 2008, the U.S. Board on Geographic names renamed 16 valleys creeks and other sites omitting the name s-word.

As formerly mentioned, the most high-profile case at that time sought by the National Congress of American Indians was the renaming of the Phoenix hiking spot S-word Peak to Piestewa Peak. The peak was renamed to honor Lori Piestewa, a Hopi/Hispanic soldier from Arizona who was killed in Iraq in 2003.

This story was originally published on January 31, 2014.

UPDATE: This story has been updated on February 23, 2022, to fit the current ICT Style Guide. ICT does not repeat the s-word.

This site is going along with the activism, and replacing the word with a euphemism.

My theory is that none of these words are offensive, but merely present a phony issue for activists. Blacks commonly use the N-word, and do not appear to be offended by it at all. The Washington Redskins had to change their name, but not because Indians were offended. It was only because activists made an issue out of it, and White liberals did not know what to say.

Jews get Olympics Comedian Fired for Obscure Joke

One pecularity of Judaism is that is has one set of rules for Jews, its members, and another for non-Jews. It does not try to convert non-Jews to joining the religion, but it very much tries to dictate what they say and do.

Here is an example:

The Simon Wiesenthal Center condemns past anti-Semitic jokes made by Japanese comedian Kentaro Kobayashi, who is the show director of the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics.

According to Japanese media reports, Kobayashi utilized the mass murder of six million Jews by the Nazis in a script for his comedy act in 1998. In his act, he made malicious and anti-Semitic jokes including “Let’s play Holocaust.”

“Any person, no matter how creative, does not have the right to mock the victims of the Nazi genocide. The Nazi regime also gassed Germans with disabilities. Any association of this person to the Tokyo Olympics would insult the memory of six million Jews and make a cruel mockery of the Paralympics,” stated SWC Associate Dean and Global Social Action Director, Rabbi Abraham Cooper. ...

The Simon Wiesenthal Center is an international Jewish human rights organization numbering over 400.000 members. It holds consultative status at the United Nations, UNESCO, the OSCE, the Council of Europe, the OAS and the Latin American Parliament (PARLATINO)

Kobayashi is a Japanese comedian. He did not mock Nazi victims, as far as I can tell. His 1998 comedy routine was in Japanese to Japanese, so it is hard to tell. No one can explain what was offensive or malicious about what he said.

This is really sick. What is this Center, the joke police? They got this guy fired on the other side of the world from a job that had nothing to do with the Jews. It was 23 years ago. Are there any Jews who even understand spoken Japanese and the context for this joke?

Japan was allied with the Nazis during World War II. Maybe this is how Jews carry out their bigoted grudges.

The last paragraph is also offensive. It says, in essence, "We represent 400k Jews, and speak with the authority of the UN and other international bodies. So everyone in the world must do what we Jews say."

Jews are the most privileged group on Earth. None were offended by this 1998 Japanese joke. It seems obvious that Jews just do this to demonstrate their power and control over everyone.

No other religion behaves this way. I am not even sure that it is correct to call these views religious, but one ethnic group has become the joke police for the world, and they do it to enforce their religious beliefs.

I may get comments saying that I am anti-semitic for posting this opinion. But I am not the one vindictively trying to get some innocent man fired on the other side of the world. I am just pointing out Jewish thinking at work. Or I may get a comment saying the Pope persecuted someone like this a millennium ago. If so, I never heard about it.

Banning Asian Carp

Do you get annoyed by Chinese whining about American culture? Did you know that there was a name for it?

Outkick reports:

Charlie Wooley, a regional director of The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, clearly felt triggered by the name. “We wanted to move away from any terms that cast Asian culture and people in a negative light,” said Wooley, per ABC7 News.

Amongst those pushing for the name to be changed was Minnesota state senator Foung Hawj, who considered “Asian carp” to be offensive and even racist.

I had to read on to see that there were talking about fish.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service was the first to designate the species “invasive carp,” doing so in April. The Asian Carp Regional Coordinating Committee are expected to make the name change official in early August.
Okay, invasive carp. Maybe we should also replace the term "Asian immigrants" with "invasive immigrants".

I don't know if there is an emoji for Asian Carp, but they have them for everything else:

A pregnant man, a multiracial handshake and a face that cannot bear to watch are some of the emojis that will hit devices over the next year, according to a draft list published by the Unicode Consortium, which approves icons for use.

The new emojis, illustrated by Emojipedia to celebrate World Emoji Day on Saturday, all but complete the consortium’s drive to offer masculine, feminine and gender-neutral versions of every available emoji, as well as a selection of skintones.

Trans and non-binary pregnancies will now be represented in the emoji set, thanks to two new gender options for the “pregnant woman” emoji, while “person with crown” joins “prince” and “princess” for gender-neutral royalty.

I still suspect that this is all a sick joke. Somebody keeps proposing more and more absurd emojis, in the hope of determining the limits to what Apple and Google will put on all of our phones.

The Meaning of all those Colors

Nickelodeon is the most popular source of kids videos, except for maybe Disney. So you think it sticks to inoffensive content?

No, check out this video: The Meaning of Pride ft. Drag Queen Nina West 🏳️‍🌈 (Pride Song).

The song is supposedly about inclusiveness, but the color White is not for White people. No color for them. No color for heterosexual or cis-gender or non-queer or White people. Inclusiveness has become a code word for excluding straight Whites.

Homosexuality is only outlawed in Moslem countries. It is promoted in most Western countries. A few, like Russia and Hungary, have some restrictions on promoting homosexuality to minors. For this, the gay press attacks them as if they are the most horrible countries in the world.

Explain to me why it is good to show perverted videos like this to minors. What is the purpose?

Here is a new Netflix trailer, THE HARDER THEY FALL | Official Teaser | Netflix. This is described as a "assured, righteously new school Western", where Blacks go round murdering White people.

Over on Amzon Prime, we hve Karen Movie Teaser/Trailer. The term "Karen" has become a racial slur for White women, and this is about a Karen who is hated by her Black neighbors.

I haven't seen either of these movies. They are not out yet. So maybe they have some purpose other than promoting racial hatred. We shall see. It is almost as if Hollywood has been taken over by some ethnic group that hates White Christians above all else.

Here is video of Biden offers encouragement to LGBTQ Americans. I could not stand to watch it. A cabinet secretary told lies about Matthew Shepard, and how proud he is to have a "husband". There was a 16-year-old freaky-looking Black-Latino trans with female sex and male gender. Biden also babbled about Shepard, transgendered soldiers, and other LGBTQIA talking points. He pushed for boys playing on girls sports teams.

Biden made the common LGBTQIA argument that if a teenage boy is mentally ill and suicidal, then the best thing is to castrate him and get him trans counseling. They want to ban cis counseling. This is now what the Democrat Party represents, more than anything else.

Rudy Giuliani was just disbarred, with the judges ruling:

The seriousness of respondent’s uncontroverted misconduct cannot be overstated. This country is being torn apart by continued attacks on the legitimacy of the 2020 election and of our current president, Joseph R. Biden.13 The hallmark of our democracy is predicated on free and fair elections. False statements intended to foment a loss of confidence in our elections and resulting loss of confidence in government generally damage the proper functioning of a free society.

E.g. A May 17-19 national poll conducted by Reuters/Ipsos reported that while only 3% of Democrats believe that Trump won the 2020 election, 53% of Republicans so believe (Reuters, 53% of Republicans view Trump as true U.S. president, https://www.reuters.com/world/us/53-republicans-view-trump-true-us-presidentreutersipsos-2021-05-24/

I did not know that opinion polls can get a lawyer disbarred.

No, if anything is tearing this country apart, it is lies about George Floyd, systemic racism, and transgenderism.

Tucker Carlson reports:

In the universities, this is called "critical race theory," so that’s the term many people go with. "Critical race theory" — that’s what we so often debate on TV. But it’s an inaccurate way to describe what’s happening. Like so much academic jargon, the phrase "critical race theory" doesn’t mean anything. It obscures, rather than illuminates. It’s designed to confuse you. What’s happening in our schools and our military and our government is both simpler and easier to recognize than that. It’s not critical race theory. It’s racism. Not "neo-racism" or "reverse racism." Those are meaningless terms. It’s race hate, peddled by the people in charge in the hope it’ll make them more powerful. That’s all it is.
That's right, and the racism is coming from the highest levels in our govt.

NY Times essay, by X-Files guy:

Attendees believed that this program used, among other things, reverse-engineered technology from captured U.F.O.s to weaponize space. By outward appearances, these were respectable and accomplished professionals, including former government officials and lawyers. Some of them also believe that the military has hidden bases on the dark side of the moon and meet secretly there with reptilian aliens.
They were speaking in code.

Our leaders do act as if they meet in secret with aliens to plan their betrayal of our civilization. We as might as well speak of them that way.

ACLU wants to Ban Book on Transgenders

A book can be both praised and hated. But praised and banned? Former NY Times columnist writes:
You may have heard of Shrier. She is the author of Irreversible Damage, which the Economist named one of the best books of last year, and a dogged journalist who has taken on the difficult and thankless subject of the enormous rise of gender dysphoria among teenage girls.

I say thankless because it’s hard to capture the decibel of the vitriol that has met her work. To give you a taste: one of the ACLU’s most prominent lawyers said that “stopping the circulation of this book and these ideas is 100% a hill I will die on.” (The subject of how the ACLU came to favor book banning is taken up brilliantly here.)

Here is the top comment:
And I understand why so many people object. I recently learned that my niece is now my nephew. His parents are both conservative. They wrestled with the issue and only relented and affirmed his identity as male after a long period of adjustment and a lot of counseling. It's easy for me to understand why their family would be upset about a book that questions their decision. ...

And I think that's a positive step for America. We are becoming a less closed-minded, bigoted nation thanks to free speech and the activism of the lgbtq+ community and their supporters. Yay America!

Here is a positive review of Shrier's book, now retracted by the journal, and a negative review.

I am trying to understand both sides of this issue, but it is difficult. I read the retraction statement, and it is transparently dishonest. I read the negative review, and there is very little substance to it. Its best point was that the transgender medicos are following published recommendations. So what? Those recommendations could be written by sick perverts. There does not appear to be any serious science in support of what they say.

The review even has a paragraph attacking the publisher for publishing other books that are politically conservative books. I wonder if that is really the point here. Advocating transgenderism is just a way of taking sides in the culture war. After all, the percentage of the population with a direct interest in transgenderism is much less than 1%, and yet the issue dominates the leftist agenda.

The UK BBC reports:

The US government has announced it will offer gender confirmation surgery for transgender veterans through its health care coverage for the first time.

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) secretary Denis McDonough announced the change at a Pride event in Florida.

This is what used to be called sex change surgery. I guess that they decided that the term was inaccurate because the surgery helps change gender, not sex.
Mr McDonough made the announcement in Orlando on Saturday. The city this month marked five years since a gunman opened fire at a gay nightclub, killing 49 people.
The gunman was a Moslem who did not know that the nightclub was gay. But I guess we can compensate for it by castrating some retired soldiers. Plus Disney is going to remake Snow White with a non-white actress.

Update: Here is a defense of killing the review. Seems lame to me, but decide for yourself.

Update: This might help you decide. The journal, Science-Based Medicine, that retracted the positive review of Shrier's book, has then published a review trashing the book, and that review is filled with fake quotes from the book!

I accused the journal of being "transparently dishonest", above. That was an understatement. Putting fake quotes into a very negative book review is about as transparently dishonest as it gets.

The journal denies that it fabricated quotes, and says that it will correct the false quotes.

Why the NY Times fired its best reporter

I mentioned that the NY Times fired a good reporter for using the N-word, saying "We do not tolerate racist language regardless of intent." But now it turns out that was not the real reason, as the newspaper itself occasionally prints the word in the newspaper.

No, it appears that the real reason is that some White leftists were offended that he said that there is no systemic discrimination against Blacks. The Chief complainer was a rich high school girl attending Andover School, one of the most elite schools in the world.

Even more revealing, the girl complained that he recommended the 1997 book Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies, book by Jared Diamond. The book won many prizes, and was favorably reviewed in all the mainstream media.

Diamond argues that Eurasian civilization is not so much a product of ingenuity, but of opportunity and necessity. That is, civilization is not created out of superior intelligence, but is the result of a chain of developments, each made possible by certain preconditions.
Most of those developments were quirks of geography.

Liberals loved this book because it gave an academic basis for Jews saying Whites were not superior.

I have criticized Diamond on this blog, such as here. His work is crap. The preppy girl disliked the book for other reasons.

My biggest issue with Diamond is that he draws grand sweeping conclusions about people who died out centuries ago and left no written records of what happened. While I don't know what happened either, he also tells stories about XX century America, and he gets those badly wrong.

I am also suspicious of him because all of his conclusions appear to be carefully calculated to please the prejudices of his audience.

For more insight into ideological malice at the NY Times, see Prof. Scott Aaronson's criticism of the outing of Scott Alexander. There are more Jewish leftists, with mainstream leftist political views. They have blogs with mostly leftist readers and commenters. You would think that the NY Times would like them. But no. Their biggest sin seems to be that they facilitate discussion of issues that should not be discussed. That is how it seems to me, anyway. Read it yourself to form your own opinion.

Aaronson says that he cooperated with the reporter because:

The NYT is still the main vessel of consensus reality in human civilization.
I guess that is why I read the newspaper, but it is getting increasingly extreme and dishonest, and I am not sure that I would consent to an interview. They are evil. He goes on:
Last night, it occurred to me that despite how disjointed it feels, the New York Times piece does have a central thesis: namely, that rationalism is a “gateway drug” to dangerous beliefs. And that thesis is 100% correct — insofar as once you teach people that they can think for themselves about issues of consequence, some of them might think bad things. It’s just that many of us judge the benefit worth the risk!
This is why gatekeepers must control the dissemination of facts. If people think for themselves, they will not come to the conclusions that the lizard people want.

Stanford and MIT have been suckered into supporting some math student who was arrested in Russia for participating in a political protest. I don't know the merits of this, but it is an internal Russian matter and the guy only got 10 days in jail, and was released.

Compare that to the 200 protesters who have been jailed for participating in a Jan. 6 Capitol demonstration. They were pro-democracy, and there is no proof that they hurt anyone. The Democrats keep calling it a "deadly insurrection", but the only thing deadly about it was that a non-white cop shot an unarmed woman in an area where citizens should have been welcome. And there was no insurrection. They are being held with nasty charges, and may not get out for a long time. They are political prisoners, right here in America.

Update: Aaronson has changed his mind, and regrets cooperating with the NY Times. He adds:

As far as I’m concerned, the ongoing collapse of Enlightenment norms of discussion and debate across the Western world, and its replacement by dueling self-certain authoritarianisms, really is a huge problem, commensurate with any of the worst problems that the world has ever faced.

Blacks have been taught to hate Whites

This Gallup Poll on race relations says that 70% of Black adults in 2001 thought that White/Black relations were good. It was still 66% in 2013, but sank to 36% in 2020.

So what happened? Were there a lot of lynchings like Emmett Till? Did new Jim Crow laws get passed? No.

Barack Obama and the liberal press perpetrated a series of hoaxes about Blacks being mistreated. There was Trayvon Martin, the Harvard professor, Ferguson Missouri, George Floyd, etc. Then there were White politicians like Joe Biden pandering to Black voters by promising slavery reparations.

When the NY Times detailed the five or so important people who died in 2020, one was George Floyd. They mentioned his criminal history, but not his fentanyl overdose.

It is all a cruel lie. This Quillette article explains:

Full-time, year-round white male workers, specifically, earn 73 cents for every dollar ($57,003) an equivalent Taiwanese American woman makes ($78,153). A cursory glance at the data reveals disparities of this magnitude across the board, some of which are even more significant.
So obviously there is no big discrimination against either women or non-whites.

So why did the news media push these racial hoaxes? Obviously they have ulterior motives. In the case of the NY Times, they have a deep hatred of White Christian American culture. Every day they have articles about how they would like to destroy it.

Today's NY Times has an article naming and shaming a 19-year-old for once using a commonly-used offensive word in a 3-second Snapchat video 4 years ago. This is just cruel anti-White racial hatred. Because of racist attacks, she had to withdraw from college.
