Act22: On or about the 3rd day of December2020, DONALD JOHN TRUMP caused to be tweeted from the Twitter account @RealDonaldTrump, “Georgia hearings now on @OANN. Amazing!” This was an overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy”So Trump's crime was, in part, posting a public tweet to watch tv news!
This is crazy stuff. There was no conspiracy. There were no secret deals to do anything illegal. Everything Trump did was in the open, public, and in pursuit of lawful remedies.
The omnibus spending bill includes a section that would reform the Electoral Count Act, a 1887 law that governs the counting of Electoral College votes in Congress. So all the Democrats agreed that the Electoral Count Act had a loophole. So how can it be illegal for Trump to have tried to exploit that loophole? For years, legal scholars have worried the law was poorly written and in need of clarification, and former President Donald Trump and his allies targeted the law's ambiguities in their attempts to overturn the 2020 election.

Accusing your opponent of being a Russian colluder during an election, then giving the allegation to the FBI, Then the FBI opening an investigation into Russian collusion basically because they wanted to stop Trump, as they knew damn well the source of the allegation was Hillary. Then the FBI sent leaks to the media, The media then gleefully reported the fake allegation, Now the FBI claims this reported allegation as grounds to make FISA warrant requests...and then opening one investigation after another during the new presidents term of office, leaking like a sieve the entire time to hostile media sources, knowing the entire time (along with the CIA) it was bogus.
Nope, nothing to see, no election tampering here. Right. Mail in ballots without even basic voter ID verification or chain of custody requirements and openly violating multiple state laws and constitutions concerning absentee voting requirements...because *gasp* Covid? No problem... as long as you are a democrat, it's all justified because you know what's best.
There really is no point in having an FBI if they are merely going to commit the very crimes they were created to investigate.
