Columbia U Penalized for being Anti-Jewish

The Trump administration is penalizing Columbia U. for documented anti-Jewish conduct on campus, and Trump-haters are countering with gripes about a low-level official:

A significant number of Wilson’s past posts on X peddle discredited conspiracy theories, including that Haitians living in the U.S. are “eating cats” and “dirt,” as well as the "great replacement theory," the racist belief that ethnic white groups and their culture are being “replaced” by nonwhite immigrant groups in Western countries.

On Thanksgiving in 2022, she wrote, “REMINDER: the Native Americans were anything but peaceful before the arrival of white Europeans.”

Okay, she has some opinions that differ from what is widely believed.

These are not conspiracy theories. They are just facts and opinions that she posted. She is not harassing anyone, the way that Columbia is harassing Jews.

You might think that Columbia is not at fault, because it is just allowing free speech by foreign students. But Columbia does not believe in free speech, and has, along with Harvard, the worst free speech rating of all American colleges.

It is funny to watch academic Trump-haters get histerical over this. I expect public opinion to turn against the colleges.
