From my perspective, Trump’s ironclad support for Israel, and his strong opposition to antisemitism in the US, is the one big issue where, by whatever accidents of history, he’s wound up mostly on the side of good.He complains about Trump wanting peace in Ukraine, and cutting overhead in academic research grants. But it is appears that his main concerns are Jewish leftist ideology and what is good for Jews in Israel, not what is good for America.Which (crucially) is the only reason I’m still here! If it weren’t for that one bright spot in a gigantic field of dogshit, I would’ve probably already fled the US with my family, rather than staying here to protest all the other stuff.

Cognitive Dissonance would seem to rule the democrat party. As a political party it no longer really has any cohesive core tenants or philosophy except that the 'other' party is terrible, horrible, double-plus-ungood, racist, sexist, misogynistic, bigoted, homophobic, transphobic, islamophobic, etc, ad nausea.
The dissonance is so pronounced, that even after calling other people all these things and trying to destroy their personal lives, they are mystified when the targets of their hatred (an ever growing number) don't vote for them, or even listen to them anymore.
