The Biden administration knows they've stepped in it. They have gone pretty much silent on the over the top rhetoric against Trump for the moment after they had been proclaiming Trump should be put in the 'bullseye', but give them a few days and all the DNC Shills will suddenly (for some mysterious reason) all start using the exact same wording to condemn Trump again.
