Quantum Supremacy Professor goes Full Trump Derangement

Computer science professor Scott Aaronson, who is mostly famous for promoting quantum supremacy, announces his vote:
Q1: Who will you be voting for in November?

A: Kamala Harris (and mainstream Democrats all down the ballot), of course.

Q2: Of course?

A: If the alternative is Trump, I would’ve voted for Biden’s rotting corpse. Or for Hunter Biden. Or for…

Q3: Why can’t you see this is just your Trump Derangement Syndrome talking?

Yes, it is a good example of Jewish TDS. (Quantum supremacy is an idea for building super-powerful computers. So far, many billions of dollars have been invested, and it is a big bust.)

You have to read his essay to see how deranged he is.

He admits that he has many disagreements with the Democrats, including Israel, free speech, wokeism, defunding the police, etc.

He wants "a European-style compromise on abortion." But that is exactly what Trump delivered! Roe v Wade was much more radically pro-abortion than any European country, and now states have passed laws mostly similar to European countries.

He is troubled by a 2016 warning that Trump might prosecute his political enemies! We had 4 years of Trump, and he did not do that, and then Biden-Harris did exactly that. One of the main Harris campaign strategies is to label Trump as a criminal.

Q8: Oh stop being so melodramatic. What terrible thing happened to you because of Trump’s first term? Did you lose your job? Did fascist goons rough you up in the street?

A: Well, my Iranian PhD student came close to having his visa revoked, and it became all but impossible to recruit PhD students from China. That sucked, since I care about my students’ welfare like I care about my own.

So he not only rejects America First, he explicitly puts the welfare of Chinese and Iranians ahead of Americans.

He also complains that while he was recuited with big bucks to move from MIT to U Texas-Austin, others are reluctant to move to a Republican state.

His biggest issue is that Trump said that the 2020 election was stolen, and is an authoritarian.

Or so he says. It appears to me that he has some sort of Jewish religious aversion to Trump's personality, as none of his arguments justify his conclusions. I am not sure what, exactly. About 70+% of American secular Jews are expected to vote against Trump, even though Trump is more pro-Israel in some ways. And a lot of otherwise intelligent Jews babble nonsense when the subject of Trump comes up.

Update: I would think that Aaronson would attract smart commenters, but they mostly say idiotic things like this:

I expect Harris has her shortcomings, as do we all, but I have never seen her photo on a scandal-sheet at the checkout of a grocery, as I often did of Trump. Nor has she said anything as asinine as Trump speculating that injecting bleach could be effective against Covid.
No, Trump has never said anything about injecting bleach. That was just one of Biden's lies.
