“Man” is now includes the definition “an adult who lives and identifies as a male though they may have been said to have a different sex at birth.”I am expecting:In the same vein, the updated definition of “woman” reads “an adult who lives and identifies as female though they may have been said to have a different sex at birth.”
A dog is an animal that lives and identifies as a dog though it may have been said to have a different animal identification at birth.Update: A comment reminded me of this quote:
How many legs does a dog have if you call his tail a leg? Four. Saying that a tail is a leg doesn't make it a leg.Lincoln would be considered transphobic today.Abraham Lincoln

Two examples:
A man self identifies as being a man.
A man self identifies as being an Apache attack helicopter.
While you can say you identify as whatever you would like,
you can't actually be whatever you would like. There is a difference, words do have meaning.
It's time folks remember that.
