The Trump Arrest Hoax

The news is full of stories about how the New York district attorney is going to indict and arrest Donald Trump. I don't believe it.

The charges are ridiculous.

The story is that a prostitute tried to blackmail Trump with false accusations during the 2016 election. A Trump lawyer paid her off, without consulting him, and then asked him for reimbursement. Trump paid the lawyer as a legal expense, and did not use campaign funds. The has since went to prison for lying about it, and other petty crimes.

The statute of limitations is two years, and has long since expired.

Nobody could seriously think that Trump did anything criminal here. Talk of prosecution is all a plot to derail Trump's 2024 Presidential campaign.

Supposedly, Trump violated an obscure NY misdemeanor law by concealing from his accountant the fact that he did not use campaign funds to pay off a bogus claim, and the two year statute of limitations should not count because he was hiding out in the White House when this might have been prosecuted.

Only a Third World country would arrest a political opponent on such a silly pretense. It is not going to happen.

Roger,
Your assumption that we do not live in a third world country now is simply precious.
You should really get out more often.

January 6th was used to promote a vast right wing insurrection story promoted by the entire democrat party and a huge sycophantic media. This took thousands of people pushing the story through various alphabet agencies and pundits...the government was telling people literally what to think...

Things were going according to scripted plan..and then it just took one little dissenting Tucker Carlson to unravel it as baloney just by playing their own video camera surveillance.
