It is disturbing how many people idolize him. He is destroying Ukraine.
Update: As I understand it, Putin is demanding (1) Ukraine stay neutral, with a written commitment to not join NATO; (2) Russian takeover of Crimea be accepted; and (3) independence for Donbas in E. Ukraine.
I believe that NATO should never have been threatening Russia with radical expansion anyway. Very few people think that the USA should commit to a ground war to defend Ukraine's border. So agreeing to demand (1) should be easy.
Russian seizure of Crimea appears to be a done deal.
I don't have an opinion on whether demand (2) is reasonable. I also don't have an opinion about whether Putin would be satisfied with these concessions. Maybe Putin has grander and more evil plans.
I do not see how it can be worth fighting a war over these issues. Zelensky could probably get a cease-fire if he made some concessions. Instead he has persuaded foreign countries to join his war. He has done a good job of selling the war. But it is hard to see how he can win, and it appears to me that he is just prolonging the war and getting his citizens killed.
I could be wrong about this, but that is how it appears to me.
Nobel Peace Prize? There is no peace. Kissinger and Arafat got peace prizes, and Hitler got Man of the Year. So I guess it is possible.

By not rolling over for Russian invaders? Seems like an odd stance for you to take.
