I'm convinced the future of schooling is in the freelance classrooms now sprouting for homeschoolers. Ideally, parents should pay for particular teachers rather than paying for schools. Teachers and topics should compete for students, not schools.

Well, we'll see. I'm offering two high school courses this fall, and will soon learn if there is any demand is. Some of you could probably do likewise in your areas in connection with homeschool associations.



What you really want is teachers that are accountable directly to parents, with parents having the choice to pick and choose from a selection of teachers.
