Democrat Oyster Farmer in Big Trouble

Graham Platner is being forced out of the Maine race for the US Senate, but I am wondering how his misbehavior is possible if he is 100% disabled:

Platner is not required to disclose his disability benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. But he told News Center Maine last month that he has a 100% disability rating for “a couple herniated discs,” injuries to his shoulders and knees, and post-traumatic stress disorder from his four deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He receives about $4,800 a month.

In response to questions from the Press Herald, a campaign spokesperson said Platner could take either “an owner’s draw” or a salary from the oyster business and it wouldn’t affect his disability benefits. Instead, he has chosen to reinvest that money back into the company.

Platner has now withdrawn.

Harvey Weinstein gets another Hung Jury

Harvey Weinstein is widely hated for being a sex criminal, but a third NY jury failed to convict him. He has dozens of accusers, including Calif. Gov. Gavin Newsom's wife.

I think it is clear that Ronan Farrow and the NY Times sold us some bogus stories. Weinstein is sleazy, but there is very little evidence he committed crimes.

Weinstein Accuser Testifies

Harvey Weinstein has about a hundred accusers, so surely one can tell a convincing story to convict him. Nope. AP reports on his third trial:

Mann met Weinstein at a Los Angeles-area party around early 2013. She had done some acting work but was hoping for a big break.

Their subsequent get-togethers bounced between professional advice, invites to glitzy industry events and advances that Mann said made her uncomfortable but that she didn’t refuse, though she had an emotional “meltdown” during an episode involving Weinstein and another woman.

Still, Mann decided to have a consensual sexual liaison with the then-married producer.

She explained Tuesday that she had been taught to expect such behavior from men and thought she might feel better about it if she was in a relationship with Weinstein.

Among many consensual encounters, she said that one was not.

Mann told no one at the time. She went through with the planned breakfast, accepted Weinstein’s invitation to extend her trip, attend a movie screening and have tea with him and his daughter.

“I just wanted everyone to act like everything was normal,” she said.

She continued consensual sexual encounters and friendly email exchanges with Weinstein. He helped the financially struggling Mann get hired at a hair salon, though she declined an envelope from him that she believed contained $1,000 in cash: “It felt wrong,” she told jurors.

I am wondering how any of this would convince a jury. If he really committed a crime against her, she would not have continued the relationship.

Sex Charges to Knock Out Political Candidate

Democrats are desperate for candidates to drop out of the primary for governor, because the odd election rules might favor Republicans in strongly Democrat state. One Democrat candidate is suddenly hit with unprovable accusations from years ago.

News:

“CNN interviews a woman who alleges that she was raped by Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), who is running for governor in California. She says that they were at a bar and she got up to use the bathroom and that her memory of what happened from that point on is mostly gone,” reporter Ryan Saavedra wrote.

“She says she woke up the next morning naked and alone in a hotel room, which she says she didn’t even realize was his hotel room at the time. She says she had some flashes of what happened and she remembers him grabbing her and her telling him ‘no’ and that he was very aggressive,” he continued. ...

Pelosi joins other leading Democrats including Sen. Adam Schiff in demanding that Swalwell exit the race.

They want him to drop out of the governor race, but not out of Congress. As of now, he has been bullied into suspending his campaign. He denies the main accusations.

These stories do not deserve credence. Anyone can make charges like that. People act as if accusers are innocent, but they often have bad motives.

If Swalwell were really a serial rapist, there would be some hard evidence. A victim could have called the police the next morning.

Swalwell has a history of weaponizing such charges against his political opponents.

Ronan Farrow is famous for promoting these trashy stories, and for being the child prodigy son of Woody Allen and Mia Farrow, and now he goes after Sam Altman. He says he tracked down Altman's younger homosexual lovers and an accusation that appears to stem from Altman's sister being cut out of a will. Farrow himself has a weird sex history, and so do his parents. Even the NY Times says he is a liar. He says Altman cannot be trusted, but Farrow cannot be trusted.

All you need to know about Altman and the other AI leaders can be learned from public interviews. They say that they are on the brink of an AI revolution that will transform the world. Maybe for the better, but maybe to kill us all. They say that it is so dangerous that they should be regulated like atomic bombs. Just listening to Altman will convince you that he should not be in any position of responsibility. By all accounts, he is a liar and a sociopath.

The Epstein File Hoax Continues

The world continues to go crazy with the Epstein files. It is all a hoax.

The files have turned up no evidence of pedophilia, sex trafficking, rape, victims, spy agencies, or blackmail.

Epstein was convicted of soliciting from a 17-year-old prostitute, and served a 13-month sentence. This was not a lenient sentence. It would not even be a crime in many places. For example, Colorado has introducd a bill to legalize prostitution, and the age of consent is 17 there.

Some say that he committed worse crimes, but they were covered up. Maybe so, but the crimes could not be that obvious, if 100s of investigations over 20 years failed to find the proof.

Now a great many people are being blamed for being mentioned in the Epstein files. Everybody says that they should have refused to communicate with him.

If no one can prove any of these charges today, with the mountain of evidence and publicity, how was anyone supposed to know 20 years ago?

This another example of the world gone mad. If someone really thinks that anyone seeing a prostitute should be ostracized, then I could understand, but no one says that. It is all based on a presumption that Epstein somehow committed much worse crimes, and somehow everyone knew about it. No, no one knows about any worse crimes.

Canada Hockey Players Acquitted

Quillette reports:

On Thursday 24 July, five former World Junior Hockey players were acquitted by Ontario Superior Court Judge Maria Carroccia following an eight-week sexual-assault trial that should never have seen the inside of a courtroom. In Canada, the trial rapidly became a prurient media circus, so all Canadians—including those, like me, who felt only fremdschämen for all concerned—have been privy to the lurid details of a consensual group-sex session in a hotel room back in 2018. And how do we know that the sex was was consensual? Because the young female complainant, known only as E.M., recorded a video on the night she had sex with all five defendants, in which she laughed: “It was all consensual. Are you recording me? ’K, good. You are so paranoid. Holy. I enjoyed it. It was fine. I’m so sober—that’s why I can’t do this right now.”

So it was all a hoax. But this incident happened in 2018, and the boys got banned from hockey. Now 7 years later, they can try to resume normal lives.

MeToo is Not Dead Yet

Wokism may be declining, but DEI and MeToo are not dead yet. Here is latest example of MeToo, unpaywalled here.

I do not recommend reading this junk. I did not. It is too gross and invasive. I just post so you can be aware of what it is. It is a Jewish reporter telling about how a Jewish man had consensual and degrading sexual activities with a Jewish woman. The man is mostly famous for creating The Sandman, a DC comic book series. The comic book might have been a tipoff that he had weird fantasies.

The woman tells stories about how she would literally eat manure as part of sexual adventures that went on for years. She sent text messages about how much she enjoyed it. Others also tell bizarre stories. No one says anything was criminal, except in fictional fantasies and in complaints many years later.

I don't know what is going on here. These stories are notoriously unreliable, so I am not assuming any of it is true. It does appear that Jews like to brag about telling stories of degrading sexual activities. It is sick. A few years ago, mainstream publishers would refuse to touch this stuff.

The Harvey Weinstein stories seem to be the high point of this genre. He was eventually charged with crimes, but the women were obviously enthusiastic and willing participants.

Here is another strange metoo controversy:

Elena Rybakina, the 2022 Wimbledon champion, has recently been at the center of a coaching controversy involving her former coach, Stefano Vukov. She has chosen to bring him back on her team. Allegations of verbal abuse and misconduct surfaced during her matches, sparking broader debates about the boundaries of acceptable behavior in professional tennis coaching.

In the weeks following Rybakina’s announcement, the ITF confirmed that Stefano Vukov had been temporarily suspended for breaching the sport’s code of conduct. Reports allege that his suspension was tied to instances of inappropriate behavior during matches, which included public criticism of Rybakina during high-pressure moments.

He works for her. She can fire him at any time. She is 25 years old. She has no complaints about him. The complaints come from others who think the coach is too critical. Maybe they think he is sleeping with her also, but they have not said it. Even if so, they are adults, and I do not see how it is anyone's business. I tried to find some videos, and nothing seemed unusual to me. Men in pro sports get yelled at much worse, and no one thinks anything wrong with it.

There is another strange controversy involving actress Blake Lively, but I cannot figure it out. It appears to be another Amber Heard Johnny Depp situation. They were acting in a Netflix movie about how children of abusers grow up to be abusers. It is weird that this would generate heated and bizarre claims of abuse. It is almost as if they are trying to generate publicity for the movie.

NY Principal Failed to Report Sex Rumors

The NY Post reports:

A Pennsylvania high school principal is in hot water for looking the other way during a teacher’s tryst with a student — claiming he didn’t want to ruin the educator’s career.

Mark Patrick Murphy, 42, principal of Lackawanna Trail High School in Clinton Township, allegedly knew about the illegal affair but failed to report it to Childline, the state’s child abuse hotline, despite several complaints from other faculty members, WBRE-TV News reported.

Murphy was told to stay home and is facing a charge of failing to report the abuse, the outlet said.

It would be statutory rape, not child abuse.

An observation:

Though the media is not saying, this must be yet another case of a female teacher having sex with a male student. For one thing, the reverse virtually never happens, because men have the ability to control their sexual urges, and further, the story is that the teachers were complaining to the principal, and if it had been a man having sex with a teen girl, these (almost certainly female) teachers would have just called the police.

What’s more, there is nothing being said about charges against the teacher, which likely means the student was 18.

This is exactly what anyone should do in this situation, morally. Blowing up weird sex scandals and turning them into mass public events is vulgar, lunatic behavior.

No one supports these teacher-student relationships, but women love this and they do it constantly. It’s the law that women have to be allowed to work at schools with teenage boys, so there is simply no way to prevent it from happening. A woman is arrested for this multiple times per week, so obviously the prosecutions are not serving as a deterrent.

The principal just heard some rumors, and it is not clear that he had any legal obligation. Do you really want a state agency collecting all the sex rumors?

If the other teachers had direct evidence of crimes against a child, then they should have notified the parents, and then the police. The article has no indication of any of that happening.

German Courts Suppress Truth about Afghan Crimes

Judge Heiko Halbfas saw things differently on Monday: “Those who attack human dignity cannot invoke freedom of speech.” Kaiser deliberately created an image in the minds of others that led to hatred of a nationally determined group, the district newspaper reported.

The context is that Afghans in Germany are gang rapists.

The Verden regional court in Lower Saxony has upheld a verdict against Rotenburg AfD leader Marie-Thérèse Kaiser for incitement to hatred. The 27-year-old was also found guilty in the appeal hearing on Monday of inciting hatred against Afghan local workers.

For this, the politician now has to pay 100 day fines (a type of fine related to daily income of the convicted) plus a fine of €60, a total of €6,000. ...

Among other things, the politician linked to an article showing that Afghans in Germany are particularly heavily involved in gang rape.

Wow, the Germans have been neutered. When I see a story like this, I assume that the reality is much worse. Next time, the German govt will not release the ethnic data on rapists.

Whoever thought that Afghans could be imported into Germany, and become Germans?

Harvey Weinstein Conviction Overturned

AP reports:

New York’s highest court on Thursday overturned Harvey Weinstein ’s 2020 rape conviction, finding the judge at the landmark #MeToo trial prejudiced the ex-movie mogul with “egregious” improper rulings, including a decision to let women testify about allegations that weren’t part of the case.

“We conclude that the trial court erroneously admitted testimony of uncharged, alleged prior sexual acts against persons other than the complainants of the underlying crimes,” the court’s 4-3 decision said. “The remedy for these egregious errors is a new trial.”

The state Court of Appeals ruling reopens a painful chapter in America’s reckoning with sexual misconduct by powerful figures — an era that began in 2017 with a flood of allegations against Weinstein. His accusers could again be forced to retell their stories on the witness stand.

The court’s majority said “it is an abuse of judicial discretion to permit untested allegations of nothing more than bad behavior that destroys a defendant’s character but sheds no light on their credibility as related to the criminal charges lodged against them.”

This was a strange case. The news media was filled with reports of as many as 100 accusers, and yet there was no firm evidence. The main accuser in court was contradicted by a lot of evidence that the affair was consensual.

Weinstein was only convicted by convincing the jury that Weinstein had a pattern of bad behavior, as indicated by uncharged accusations.

Another trial disaster is the various charges against the founders of Backpage, an online service similar to Craigslist. Here is the latest:

A federal judge has acquitted Backpage co-founder Michael Lacey of dozens of counts, including a majority of those on which federal prosecutors planned to retry Lacey later this year. U.S. District Judge Diane Humetewa also acquitted former Backpage executives Jed Brunst and Scott Spear on multiple counts of which they were convicted by a jury last fall.

This was a big story because of the sex trafficking charges, but they all appear bogus. Lacey was just found guilty of "international concealment of money laundering", whatever that is.

The feds were out to shut down Backpage because some prostitutes liked to advertise on it, but it was really just an ad site, and the company should not have been liable for personal ads. The feds claimed that there were underage girls on the site, but I don't think anyone proved that.

Lawfare abuses Defamation Juries

The dishonest and unfair lawfare against Donald Trump continues.

E. Jean Carroll just got a $83 million jury verdict against Trump.

Here are the facts. Carroll wrote a book claiming that Trump raped her in a high-end NYC department store in the 1990s. She did not report it at the time, and cannot say what year it happened. The whole story is preposterous, as no one ever gets raped in a high-end nyc department store.

The first jury said that she lied about the rape, but awarded her $5 million anyway. The second jury $83 million.

The lawsuits were funded by Reid Hoffman, a billionaire Biden donor.

I see regular YouTube ads from Sandy Hook parents. They already sued Alex Jones for a billion dollars, and now they are running some kind of gun scam. I did not follow the ads.

These lawsuits are all bogus, and attacks on free speech. We need laws limiting defamation judgments. Carroll was not harmed by what Trump. She probably sold more books.

Trump says he never met Carroll. No one has proved that wrong.

Jones got criticized for saying that the Sandy Hook story was a hoax, but he did raise legitimate questions about the story, and he should have a free speech right to do that.

Our legal system is broken. The judge in the Carroll case did not allow Trump to argue that he was innocent, or that he did not defame Carroll, or that Carroll is a lying lunatic, or that Hoffman bankrolled the case.

Bill Maher broadcast his weekly HBO anti-Trump rant, and this time he bragged about how Brazil elected a president with all votes cast and counted the same day.

Okay, that is exactly what Trump demands! We used to do elections that way, and it arguable that federal law requires. The excepttion was 2020, when Trump got a clear majority of votes cast and counted on election day, but was declared the loser based on unverifiable other ballots.

If you want fair elections, vote for Trump.

Central Park Karen Speaks Out

I mentioned this dispute, and not the victim writes:

… I’m Amy Cooper, but you probably know me as “Central Park Karen.” You may not know my name, but you probably know my story—or at least the two-minute version of the story that was broadcast all over the world without key facts or context. Everyone believed and amplified one story: That a white “Central Park Karen” called the police on an innocent Black man, a bird watcher, because of the color of his skin.

It was just a trivial dispute between a bird watcher and a dog walker. Nobody would care, except that one was a straight White woman, and the other a gay Black man.

While he was the one who aggressively sought a confrontation and threatened her in a secluded, the incident made him a rich tv celebrity, while it ruined her life:

As Christian’s video went viral, my life, as I knew it, was over. All my personal information was released online. I received many hundreds of threatening graphic images, death threats, and hate mail, which continues to this day.

My employer fired me the day after the incident without ever taking the time to learn the facts. Clearly in survival mode, my company released a strong statement distancing itself from me, effectively blacklisting my career.

In a frantic and desperate attempt to stop the avalanche of hate and death threats, I issued a public apology at the recommendation of a PR company. But it did nothing. I was forced into hiding.

Over three years later, I am still in hiding. I am scared to be in public. I still can’t get a job that meets my qualifications. And there have been long stretches of unemployment. All leading to thoughts of self-harm.

So how does anyone believe that there is systemic racism against Blacks? Bad-behaving Blacks get rewarded, while Whites get punished.

Vigilante Starts Fight, gets Shot

I am all for exposing and prosecuting child predators, but what do you expect in this situation?

A 17-year-old boy tries to go out on a data with a 15yo girl he met on the internet, only to discover that he had been set up by a large 40yo Black man vigilante who falsely accused the boy of being a pedophile and started to beat him up by punching him. The boy used a gun to defend himself.

The London Guardian reports:

A man who gained a sizable social media following by posing as a child online to lure out alleged sexual predators was shot to death late last week during a confrontation at a restaurant in Michigan.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the killing of 40-year-old Robert Wayne Lee, also known to his followers as Boopac Shakur.

Lee and friends would pretend to be a 15-year-old girl, make contact with adults suspected of being interested in sexually abusing the child, and arrange to personally meet those online users.

He would record videos of the online conversations and the subsequent in-person confrontations. Lee would then post those videos on Facebook and Instagram pages, which had tens of thousands of followers combined.

On Friday night, he met two teenagers – one age 17 and the other 18 – at a restaurant in the community of Pontiac, about 30 miles (48.2km) north-west of Detroit, according to the local Oakland county sheriff’s office. Lee punched one of the teens after accusing him of being a pedophile, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

The younger teen pulled a gun out, and the older one armed himself with a knife. The 17-year-old then shot Lee several times before both of the teens fled the establishment.

Lee was brought to a hospital, where he died, the sheriff’s office news release said.

Boopac Shakur claims to have exposed 132 child predators, but the legal record is rather thin.

Bouchard told the Oakland Press that Lee’s videos had led to four arrests, including a corrections officer at the local jail. But Bouchard said his agency did not advise or coach Lee, who was neither credited in the police reports resulting from the arrests nor called to testify about his methods.

Only 4 arrests out of 132? Even those appear bogus, as they had to conceal the entrapment info just to get the arrest. Boopac Shakur appears to be the criminal. He should not have been going around beating up innocent teenagers. He finally got his comeuppance.

Perhaps you are going to tell me that the age of consent in Michigan is age 16, and the 17yo boy may have had some lewd thoughts about the nonexistent 15yo girl, and if the girl had been a real girl, he might have made amorous advances. Yeah, maybe. Like a million other 17yo boys.

There are a lot of online comments in favor the vigillante. Why? Am I missing something here? I think the sheriff also has come culpability, as he appeared to be encouraging this thug to beat up teenagers. If you go around beating up innocent teenagers, then one might retaliate.

Trevor Bauer was one of MLB baseball's best pitchers, until he was kicked out.

Bauer struggled during the 2019 season, both with Cleveland and with Cincinnati, but he followed this effort with his first Cy Young Award during the 60-game 2020 MLB season, becoming the first Reds player to win the award.

A free agent after the 2020 season, Bauer signed a three-year contract with the Dodgers in February 2021. He led the league in both strikeouts and innings pitched through July 2 but spent the rest of the season on administrative leave imposed by MLB as they investigated sexual assault allegations made against him, which continued into the following season. On April 29, 2022, the league announced that Bauer would be suspended for 324 games as a result of their investigation, which was later reduced to 194 on appeal. The Dodgers released him on January 12, 2023, rather than restoring him to the active roster.

Now it turns out that the accusations were 100% false. The woman learned of his wealth, and was doing a shakedown.

So why was he kicked off the LA Dodgers? There were never any serious charges against him, and her story had many holes. The MeToo crowd says to believe all women, but most of these stories have turned out to be false.

Just watch Trevor Bauer's 4-min. video on Lindsey Hill's Concealed Texts Finally Exposed. Amazing. He was fortunate to have the money to pay top lawyers, and to get phone evidence of her scamming him. And that his legal dispute allowed him to publicly explain his innocence.

There is currently a case before the US Supreme Court on whether men should lose their constitutional gun rights if a woman makes an accusation that results in a protective order. These orders are almost always granted, although one was denied against Trevor Bauer. Apparently it was obvious to the judge that the accuser was lying.

NYC Crime is Black Crime

NY City has released crime data. Blacks are committing these crimes at 30 times the rate of Whites.

The academic view is that race is just a social construct:

According to Jones (2002) “race” is only based on a few phenotypic-related genes, not global genetic ancestry, since the few genes that determine skin color, hair texture, and facial features are not informative about other aspects of the genotype at the individual level. Advocates of the structural racism hypothesis frequently emphasize that race/ethnicity categorization “reflects neither biological nor cultural differences” and that race is “often conflated erroneously with biology and ancestry” (Adkins-Jackson et al., 2022, p. 540), that “race is a social construct and is distinct from ethnicity, genetic ancestry or biology” (O’Reilly, 2020, p. 2), that “social races bear little relationship to the reality of human biological diversity” (Smedley & Smedley, 2005, p. 22) and that race “is a social construct with no biological basis and stems from White supremacy” (Haeny et al., 2021, p. 889). While the phrase “race is a social construct” can have a range of meanings, a popular one, given by the American Sociological Association (2003), is that race is “a social invention that changes as political, economic, and historical contexts change”; this social invention is said to be important because “social and economic life is organized, in part, around race as a social construct.”

You should disregard any journal that publishes such nonsence. You can pay $100 to get your genes sequanced, and the lab will identify your race based on your genes. And the genetic race match the ordinary social definition. And race shows up in crime statistics. It is not imaginary. It is real. If Blacks and Hispanics were to move out of NY City, the police would not have much to do.

Even the NCAAP recognizes:

The Oakland NAACP has called on city leaders to declare a state of emergency due to rising crime, calling the situation a "crisis," and has urged residents across the city to speak out against it. ...

"Failed leadership, including the movement to defund the police, our District Attorney’s unwillingness to charge and prosecute people who murder and commit life-threatening serious crimes, and the proliferation of anti-police rhetoric have created a heyday for Oakland criminals," the letter states.

Actor Masterson to spend Life in Prison

Famous Hollywood actor Danny Masterson is a Scientologist, and got sucked into some Scientology controversies. He was just convicted of two 2003 rapes, and sentenced to life in prison. He will be eligible for parole after 30 years.

The women did not complain until 2017, and there was a first trial in which most jurors thought he was innocent. There was no objective evidence of a crime.

I never heard of him, and did not follow the case. But do I think our justice system was somehow able to determine what happened in 2003? Of course not. This is an extreme sentence, on the flimsiest of evidence. Our system is broken.

Here is video of Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis apologise for letters. This is pathetic. They were friends Masterson for 25 years, and laways thought that he was a find man, and now they apologize for saying so? They disgust me. Kunis is a Ukrainian Jew who was 14 years old when she was on a TV show with Masterson and Kutcher. She describes herself as a non-practicing Jew, but Jewish enough to hate Republicans. Now she is married to Kutcher. The apologiy talks about victims, they have no knowledge of any victims. These people are horrible.

Apparently Kutcher and Kunis had to make this apology video because one of Masterson's accusers threatened to also make accusations against them. So it was extertion. Kutcher and Kunis look like kidnapped prisoners reading a prepared statement. Kutcher has an estunated bet worth of $200 million. But he could lose it all and spend life in prison, if he triggers the wrong woman.

Woman Uses Accusations to Fight Shared Custody

The New Yorker Radio Hour:

according to C.D.C. statistics, nearly three million women have become pregnant as a result of rape. With abortion laws changing, more and more women will be forced to carry these pregnancies to term. In some cases, they’ll find themselves tied to their assailants through the family-court system until their children turn eighteen. “Many states ... require a conviction for first-degree rape — which is really hard to come by even if there’s a lot of evidence — in order to terminate parental rights,”

This sounds worse than it is. No woman is forced to carry a pregnancy to term. The "assailant" could be her husband, as the law now says that sexual intercourse in a marriage can be considered rape. If a woman promptly reports the rape, she is normally give a pill that eliminates any possible pregnancy.

It is disturbing that some states will consider a man a rapist even if he has not been convicted of anything. The show said that the Obama administration introduced the policy.

An exemplary woman was interviewed for the story. She was having sexual relations with multiple men, and did not know who the father was. She got a couple of DNA tests, determined the father, and sued him for child support. He asked for partial child custody. She is determined to convince the twins that their dad is a rapist, and is trying to sabotage the shared custody. The kids are only two years old, and she says that they already hate to visit their dad. She never claimed it was a rape, until the child custody dispute.

The woman says that she is happy to have the kids, but she cannot afford to take care of them and she is trying to cut them off from their dad. The episode ends with the narrator giving a little speech about how society needs to do more for women like this. Maybe she should have been taught some healthier attitudes when she was younger. She is an example of modern feminism. Father custody or adoption would be better.

The Poor Argument for Anti-White Reparations

NPR Radio reports:

On Wednesday, the National Endowment for the Humanities held its 50th annual Jefferson Lecture.

Each year, the lecturer is chosen based on distinguished intellectual achievement in the humanities. Being selected to give the Jefferson Lecture is considered the highest honor given by the federal government in the field of the humanities.

This year's honoree was Andrew Delbanco, the Alexander Hamilton professor of American Studies at Columbia University and the president of the Teagle Foundation.

Delbanco's lecture, titled "The Question of Reparations: Our Past, Our Present, Our Future," addresses reparations for slavery in the United States from a variety of perspectives.

The modern case for reparations began with a 2014 Ta-Nehisi Coates Atlantic magazine article.

I am trying to understand this. Coates is Black, and wants more White goodies. Delbanco is Jewish, married to a Chinese-American woman, with high-status academic credentials. While he would not benefit directly from reparations, he gets a lot academic honors and Jewish respect for attacking Goys.

Here is what he says:

The less measurable injuries, which we associate with the term Jim Crow, remain mind-boggling to me when we read about them in history books or in novels or in memoirs. I mean, Black people being pushed off the sidewalk, especially Black males being pushed off the sidewalk if a white woman walked by.

Children, as Dr. King wrote about so movingly, being told that they can't go to the local water park, or the swimming pool, or the beach, because the color of their skin was offensive to other people who were going to be on that beach. Not to mention the persistence of random beatings and lynchings that were an ever present danger for Black Americans through well into the 20th century.

It's impossible to measure the impact that that had.

He is 70 years old, and has never witnessed any of these things. He just read about them in history books written by academics like himself.

So why would a Black man be pushed away from a White woman? I googled this question, and the first answer I found was a Lawrence Auster article:

In the United States in 2005, 37,460 white females were sexually assaulted or raped by a black man, while between zero and ten black females were sexually assaulted or raped by a white man.

What this means is that every day in the United States, over one hundred white women are raped or sexually assaulted by a black man.

Got that? Black men commonly rape White women. White men do not rape Black women. If the crime were color-blind, the numbers would be about equal.

So let us balance this out. On the one hand, we have many thousands of Black men raping White women every year. On the other hand, there is some decades-old anecdote about a Black man being pushed away from a White woman.

Just watch this CBS News video about the New York subway. Blacks are waging a war on Whites.

Any honest evaluation would take these factors into account. Coates and Delbanco are just lying to us.

There were no "random beatings and lynchings". Lynchings occurred as punishments for crimes. Blacks were lynched more than Whites, but only because they committed more and worse crimes.

Providing better access to quality health care to try to close those shocking gaps in infant mortality, maternal deaths and childhood, and many others in childbirth.

He is just lying again. Here are those shocking gaps in infant mortality, according to the CDC. Asian-Americans have the lowest infant mortality, and Hispanics are not much worse than Whites. Yes, Blacks are worse than everyone else, but it is hard to see how this can be blamed on Whites. Do WHite conspire to somehow get better medical care for Hispanics and Asians than for themselves, and then not let Blacks have that medical care? No, that is ridiculous. Obviously ethnic differences are at work here, independent of any medical policies.

Delbanco is just another example of Jews spreading racial hatred. They do it more than any other ethnic group.

Rape Victim must not Misgender Attacker

UK BBC reports:

Another reported a trans woman physically forcing her to have sex after they went on a date.

"[They] threatened to out me as a terf and risk my job if I refused to sleep with [them]," she wrote. "I was too young to argue and had been brainwashed by queer theory so [they were] a 'woman' even if every fibre of my being was screaming throughout so I agreed to go home with [them]. [They] used physical force when I changed my mind upon seeing [their] penis and raped me."

Of course she actually said that HE raped her with HIS penis. The woke editors changed it so as to not "misgender" the trans woman with a penis. I am surprised they didn't change it to "her penis".

Cat-calling is now a Crime in Italy

News from Italy:

Two Italian army soldiers go on trial in Milan May 13 for cat-calling a 20-year-old woman in the Lombardy capital last year, sources said Tuesday.

The soldiers, who have been transferred from the barracks they were serving at and suspended from duty, are charged with hurling insults and sexually aggressive expressions at the woman for at least three times in the same afternoon.

Cat-calling and wolf-whistling were recently added to the Italian criminal code.

Italy used to be the land of romance, but its fertility rate is 1.4 children per woman, and dropping.

How is Italy going to survive if it makes it a crime for a man to express interest in a woman?

There has been a trend among feminists to lump together all MeToo behavioral complaints, and treat them all as rape. Whistling is next, I guess.

Ghislaine Maxwell Juror Lied

The NY Times reports:

For one thing, sexual violence is extremely pervasive. According to the National Sexual Violence Resource Center, one in five American women will experience rape or attempted rape at some time in her life, to say nothing of other sorts of assault. One in four American men will experience some form of sexual violence, including rape, coercion or unwanted sexual contact.

I have gotten used to these exaggerated figures, but this stands out, because it implies that men have been victims more than women.

However, I chased down the sources, and they do not say that at all. The source says:

About one in four male victims of completed or attempted rape first experienced it between the ages of 11 and 17.

That may be bogus also, so don't take it too serously. I am just noting some of the ideological errors.

The paper takes statements about girls and boys, and converts them to being about women and men. It takes past tense statements, and converts them to future tense. It conflates rape, which has a legal definition, and attempted rape, which could be almost anything. And it converts "one in four male victims" to "One in four American men".

The relevants is to recent juror misconduct:

During jury selection for the high-profile sex crimes trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, a confidential questionnaire presented by the court asked potential jurors, “Have you or a friend or a family member ever been the victim of sexual harassment, sexual abuse or sexual assault?” Juror No. 50 checked the box for “no.” After the trial, Juror No. 50 revealed that, during deliberations, he told his fellow jurors that he had been sexually abused as a child and for years had kept this abuse a secret. The court must now decide whether Juror No. 50’s failure to tell the truth requires invalidating Ms. Maxwell’s convictions and granting her a new trial.

People have some funny beliefs about child sexual abuse. I am not sure why this guy's personal experience should have influenced the jury. Maxwell could have gotten an unfair trial.
