New Sex-Change Medical Guidelines

The Daily Signal reports:
The organization widely considered to be the gold standard on transgender health care has removed its age recommendations for minors to receive hotly debated transgender medical interventions from its guidelines — and it won’t explain why.

The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) published a correction to its Standards of Care 8th Edition this week, removing those sections on “suggested minimal ages for gender-affirming medical and surgical treatment for adolescents.”

It recommends parental consent, if possible. If not, it recommends counseling for the parents until they consent. If they still are not persuaded, then it recommends proceeding without consent.

I would be very entertained when this organization is sued for child endangerment.
You don't get to talk someone's kid into cutting off parts of their body without someone getting upset...for some mysterious reason.
