The chairwoman of the sociology department has told the New York Times that after a meeting with Summers about this issue many female faculty had left feeling he did not understand their concerns.Add that to the list of differences between men and women. Female employees cannot do their jobs unless they feel that their bosses understand their concerns.

Attacking Summers
This Slate article whines about people who said that Harvard Pres. Larry Summers was raising legitimate issues. It says, "no one is talking about achieving 50-50 representation", but then goes on to blast Summers because Harvard has not hired women in sufficient numbers.
