Apparently that has now happened. The Gateway Pundit reports:
Biden suffered an “undisclosed medical emergency” while in Las Vegas on July 17 that was never disclosed to the public. The covid story was a lie. Biden said repeatedly that he was not dropping out of the race. He was pressured and then a letter was posted in his name on Twitter/X. He later gave a speech on the subject, but pointedly did not explain why he was dropping out or what changed his mind. Now, according to a report from a respected longtime investigative journalist, an equally explosive incident followed just a few days later.
On Saturday, Seymour Hersh wrote on his substack that sources told him that Barack Obama had called Biden three days after the disturbing incident. Obama reportedly told Biden on July 20 that he had Kamala Harris’s approval to use the 25th Amendment to kick him out of office.
The press had reported:
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi reportedly made President Joe Biden an offer he apparently felt he could not refuse before he quickly reversed course and announced Sunday he would not be seeking a second term. The "hard way" is to remove Biden with the 25th Amendment.Politico reported that as of Saturday, the Biden campaign had been making plans to campaign in Texas and Georgia this week (assuming the president could be cleared from his COVID-19 infection), but "on a dime" all that changed by that evening. ...
“Nancy made clear that they could do this the easy way or the hard way,” said one Democrat source familiar with private conversations, according to Politico. “She gave them three weeks of the easy way. It was about to be the hard way."
The 25A is for removing a President who is incompetent, such as for medical or senility reasons. If he is really incompetent, he should be removed now. But that is not how the 25A is being used. It is being used as a threat, for Kamala Harris's political advantage.
This is possibly the biggest political scandal of the 21st century. I have never heard of anything like it.
Extortion is distinguished from robbery. In robbery, whether armed or not, the offender takes property from the victim by the immediate use of force or fear that force will be immediately used. Extortion, which is not limited to the taking of property, involves the verbal or written instillation of fear that something will happen to the victim if they do not comply with the extortionist's will. Another key distinction is that extortion always involves a verbal or written threat,[1] whereas robbery may not. ...The law is confusing, because Harris has the right, and even the duty, to invoke the 25A if Biden is incompetent. And it might be polite for her to tell him that she is doing it. What makes it extortion is that she threatened him with the 25A, asked for his convention delegates, and then retracted the claim that he is incompetent once he released the delegates. She should be impeached for this.In blackmail, which always involves extortion, the extortionist threatens to reveal information about a victim or their family members that is potentially embarrassing, socially damaging, or incriminating unless a demand for money, property, or services is met.[6]
