Attorney General Merrick Garland slammed the “conspiracy theories” being pushed that the Justice Department is being weaponized against former President Donald Trump as both “dangerous to democracy” and to personnel. We need more attacks on Garland's DoJ.In an editorial for the Washington Post on Tuesday, Garland said that in recent weeks, there had been “an escalation of attacks that go far beyond public scrutiny, criticism, and legitimate and necessary oversight of our work.”
He has used the DoJ to prosecute Pres. Biden's political enemies.
He has targeted Whites, Christians, and right-wingers, instead of real criminals.
He has refused a Congress subpoena, while sending Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon to prison for doing the same thing.
He has gotten gag orders against Donald Trump, in order to interfere with his campaigning.
The latest incident is Garland covering up a recording that shows Biden is incompetent to hold office, or even to stand trial for his crimes.
Garland took great offense to being linked to the NY state prosecution of Trump, but he pointedly refused to deny that the prosecutors have been communicating. He only claimed that an email search showed that there were no high-level emails that had not been deleted.

Given that the transcript of that meeting shows no such thing, I am confident that the recording would turn out to be another nothing burger. Also, the belief that Trump has the right to incite miscellaneous mayhem against court employees and their families is a head scratcher.
Mike,
Considering what Biden's admin has already done, like illegally holding people in prison indefinitely without access to legal council or even being officially charged of a specific crime, or taking in money from his son's various grifting schemes, or colluding with a state court trying to unconstitutionally prosecute a federal election law while claiming they had no connection, all the while having one of their own White House staff in the prosecution, I'm not really feeling much sympathy for career government workers and their ethical lapses. What goes around eventually comes around, and it's about time for Biden and his friends to have their own day in the barrel. I'm not sure Biden is capable of even knowing what is going on at this point, but oh well.
Please feel free to bitch slap me back if I suddenly weigh in on telling you how your own country legally operates and pretend to understand it better than you do.
Have you noticed that your lengthy replies rarely address anything I have said? Do you think that Trump remembers who his doctor is? Are you on Team Shark or Team Electricity? Do you wish, like me, that America's presidential candidates were closer to 60 than 90? Do you like pineapple on pizza?
I agree that the recording would probably not change any votes. The value is in getting a better understanding of Biden's competence.
The gag orders against Trump block him from effectively arguing his innocense to the American voters. For example, he cannot explain that Cohen is a liar.
