Texas Now has Hindoo Football Fans

So how did Bo French—a UT grad and Republican statewide candidate for Texas Railroad Commission, which regulates the oil and gas industry—mark this special moment?

He posted a picture of screaming, joyous, celebrating burnt-orange-clad students. Referring to students who appeared to be South Asian or Hispanic in the photo’s foreground, he declared, “I heard UT graduation this year looked like this. I didn’t believe it. The problem is now obviously far worse than anyone imagined.”

Mr. French’s not-so-subtle claim that UT has too many Hispanics and South Asians — he later said his issue is too many “foreigners” — is raw, uncut bigotry. ...

State House Speaker Dustin Burrows said Mr. French’s post “crossed the line” by “demeaning people because of their race or ethnicity.” Other GOP state legislators called the post “racism, plain and simple,” “disgusting” and “well below the standard set by Christ.” One said it made him “sick.”

I suspect everyone is misinterpreting French. He was not demeaning the fans or the college.

Most people do not know this, but large parts of Texas are being repopulated by Hindoos. These are mostly fine people, as far as I know, but they are changing the culture of Texas and Texans may not be happy with it.

This should not be shocking. Probably 95% of the world is against their communities being displaced by foreigners.

Saying “well below the standard set by Christ” sounds like a joke. Aren't we all below that standard? And Jesus never said anything in favor of Hindoos.

Rove goes on to say that it is okay for a politician to say to trust women, but not to say the opposite.

The GOP has a growing number of Bo Frenches — and not only in Texas. Conservatism and the party it dominates have an increasing number of bigoted advocates of a “heritage America” composed of white descendants of the original European settlers. There are “just asking questions” Jew-haters, misogynists who worship hypermasculinity, conspiracy nuts seeking clicks for profit, and religious bigots who won’t differentiate between Muslim terrorists and Muslim American patriots.

Rove is not religious. Christians do indeed see their religion as being better than Judaism, Hinduism, and Islam. Believing in a religion means disbelieving in other religions. Rove calls this religious bigotry, but it is really just being religious.

The USA was created by those heritage Whites, and we have every reason to be proud of it and to continue its traditions.
