Most of Asia has straight hair. She is straightening her hair mostly to conform to Asian styles, not White. Lots of White women curl their hair.'Let me explain something to white people. Our hair comes out of our head naturally in a curly pattern,' an exasperated Michelle began.
'When we straighten it to follow your beauty standards, we are trapped by the straightness.
'That's why so many of us can't swim, and we run away from the water. People won't go to the gym because [they're] trying to keep [their] hair straight for y'all! It's exhausting, expensive and takes up so much time.'
She has been saying crazy things for months.

I never asked black people to straighten their hair for me. I find tight curly hair ugly but I am not asking them to conform to my opinion. It seems they desperately want white people to find them attractive.
Michelle Obama is a well off angry bigot married to a weak man. Her 'facts' tend resemble her du jour political agenda.
Many black women (like all women regardless of race) enjoy styling their hair, or dying it colors no one was ever born with.
Ancient Africans braided, cut, and styled their hair for beauty and practical purposes for thousands of years. Huge afros aren't very practical for doing things where the hair might be caught or pulled by something. Black people's hair also can't be washed the same or as frequently as white people do, as this will cause dry and brittle hair and irritated skin, they often use lotions and oils instead.
