The major new media hate-white-male machine

Jerry Coyne and Andrew Sullivan and left-wing Trump-haters. (Some people call Sullivan a "conservative", but I have been reading him for years, and I have never seen him express any conservative opinions, except for things like free speech.) They agree that the NY Times has switch from being a general newspaper to a propaganda organ for the Authoritarian Left:
I think that in the last bit Sullivan is referring to the New York Times‘s 1619 Project: a well-motivated but poorly executed journalistic series that is becoming into the greatest instance of media virtue-flaunting and mass shaming I’ve seen in my lifetime. ...

Now, one might expect New York Times reporters to believe that “racism and white supremacy [are] the foundation of all of the systems in the country,” but you can choose not to buy the Times. Public schools? Mandatory. This is where the real action is in “reframing” the entire idea of America.
So it is not just right-wingers like Ann Coulter who say that the NY Times is leftist propaganda. Even leftists are disgusted.

And the problem is not just the NY Times. They are media leaders, and the schools then require the same leftist propaganda.

When the NY Times attacks White supremacy, it really means Christian Whites, as the newspaper is run by Jews who do not identify as White.

Speaking of hating White males, NPR Radio reports:
A few years ago, TV celebrity Rachel Maddow was at Rockefeller University to hand out a prize that's given each year to a prominent female scientist. As Maddow entered the auditorium, someone overheard her say, "What is up with the dude wall?"

She was referring to a wall covered with portraits of scientists from the university who have won either a Nobel Prize or the Lasker Award, a major medical prize.

"One hundred percent of them are men. It's probably 30 headshots of 30 men. So it's imposing," says Leslie Vosshall, a neurobiologist with the university and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. ...

"It just sends the message, every day when you walk by it, that science consists of old white men," says Vosshall. "I think every institution needs to go out into the hallway and ask, 'What kind of message are we sending with these oil portraits and dusty old photographs?'"
So the white men and their accomplishments are being memory holed because of the dopey comment of some lesbian leftist MSNBC propagandist?

To answer the question, the message being sent is that we encourage and respect accomplishments. Yes, most worthwhile accomplishments have been by White men.
