Melinda French Gates is one of USA TODAY’s Women of the Year, a recognition of women across the country who have made a significant impact. So what did she do? She confirmed that she was the cause of the Bill Gates divorce.
I would say probably, though, for sure, my lowest moment in life was when I finally reached the decision that I knew I needed to leave my marriage. That wasn't something I ever thought would happen to me. It certainly wasn't what I thought on the day I got married, but I realized for myself, I needed to make a healthier choice, and that was just a very, very sad day.Was she mistreated somehow? Nope. Another interview:
During the interview, Melinda was asked about the affair Bill had with a staffer 20 years ago, which a spokesperson for the Microsoft co-founder confirmed last May.She also attended the marriage of their daughter to an Egyptian equestrian."I certainly believe in forgiveness, so I thought we had worked through some of that," said the author and women's advocate, 57.
"It wasn't one moment or one specific thing that happened. There just came a point in time where there was enough there that I realized it just wasn't healthy, and I couldn't trust what we had," she added.
It is hard to see what she could be complaining about. She seemed to have everything that a woman would want. I am not trying to second-guess her. I am just trying to understand human nature.
I read somewhere that the names on the Lolita Express included one Williams Gates, and that was the final straw.

She mentioned that she was troubled by him meeting with Epstein to discuss philanthropic work. She did not accuse him of having sex with underage girls, and I doubt that he did.
